I'm only on ep 18. So far he is a good guy. Hope Hua'er doesn't turn him into a bad guy. Seems like he content being where he is but Hua'er is greedy and wants prestige. It seems she's back to her evil scheming ways.

Good read into the pastry conversation between Lu Zhi and Turtle. Looking back, I can see how their two views on this subject ultimately shape the people they became. From ep 1 to maybe around ep 6 or 7, I suspected Mr. Song the most. The reveal at the end I really didn't see coming at all but it makes sense to me. Magistrate Wei looks like Turtle and it's believable that Turtle would want justice for Lu Buyou and his family. Buyou saved his life and the gold he took (from Mr. Zhong's stash) afforded him the education and changed his life. I am still a bit bothered by the fact that Sangeng never found out that it was his master who killed his father. This man should not live in Sangeng's head or heart as his good mentor.

I don't understand why it was never revealed to Sangeng that it was his master that killed his father. They always thought Sangeng's dad died trying to rescue the Lu family in the fire. In the end, he made the right decision to help Magistrate Wei and Mr. Song.

Just when you think the truth has been revealed in ep 11, comes episode 12 with a surprising bomb I never saw coming. Well done 👏. I'm not into a murder mystery but I really enjoyed watching this one.

Sangeng still wants to avenge his master's death. The condition he gave Mr. Xue was he would tell him the name of the killer if Mr. Xue agrees to kill the killer for him. So Sangeng is trying to kill two birds with one stone, per se. We'll see how all of this is going to unfold in the last episode. I have to admit Magistrate Wei was not on my radar as a suspect.

I'm only on ep 3. No romance so far. I don't think there will be any 🤷🏻‍♀️. It's a dark, serious murder investigation. It is one of those dramas where you really have to pay attention so you don't get lost on the plot and who's who.

Agree with stepmom's acting. She adds an extra thick layer of cringe.

They're not done filming. Probably some time next year, 2024. There's a short trailer with what they've already filmed. My guess is they're anxious to get this out.

He's taking over Xiao Zhan's role in JOL 2 and they were together in Sunshine By My Side. Interesting.

Zhang and her husband are some what to blame because they are pushovers and they allow the parents to take advantage of them. What makes my blood boil is the fact that the parents make everyone compromise all for the sake of the 1st son, who is really a loser. Giving them all the family's money just for a chance at a measly job and the rest of the family goes hungry. Seems so crazy to me.

Granny is the most stressful character for me. That lady goes bat sh*t crazy whenever a family member wants eggs or meat 😂 Who treats their family like that. A good matriarch feeds and supports all her children and grandchildren but she acts like everyone owes her. Her behavior grosses me out.

Yep, soooo frustrating watching this toxic family. Man'er's dad needs a spine. I get respecting your elders and familial piety but when they're toxic, you should cut them out. Grandpa is actually not a bad guy but he makes biased decisions for the unsuccessful oldest son, Shouren. I can't believe they give their entire fortune year in and year out to support Shouren's family. I can't wait for Hua'er to marry into that Song family and suffer. I think they're crooks. It was satisfying when Maner beat up Huaer. lol.

Started on this drama without reading the synopsis first. Didn't know it was another modern day girl getting transported into a video game setting. This theme has been overdone. Watching it for the male & female leads. Her family, especially the Granny, is so awful. The way she treats some of her children and grandchildren is despicable. She only cares for her ugly daughter and useless "scholar" son and his daughter. So infuriating to watch. Hope the story gets better.

I'm halfway through this drama. It's totally cheesy but I can't stop watching. lol. FL is stunning. Hope to see more of her in the future. Anyone else find it crazy to believe how the stepmom could embezzle the company assets when she's just a house wife. In order to do that you'd have to be in top management who knows the ins and outs of company structure. Also, the the number of times they kidnapped FL for that disgusting old man is ridiculous.

Watching her now in My Lovely Wife. Thought she looked familiar then realized she was also in You are My Destiny. I'm shocked she's 31. She looks like she's in her late 40s.

I thought I was looking at Zhou Ye for a moment. FL looks like her in this poster.

She also portrays a male emperor in Joy of Life

This is the only second drama of Ren Hao I've watched. The first was A Female Student Arrives with Zhao Lusi. His face looks so different here.

Meng Wan entered the school two months before Rulan. She was also raped. MW saw that Rulan was going to be Wu Lian's next target so she offered herself to let him violate her in hopes that he wouldn't rape Rulan. But as we know he did it anyway.

He is adorable. He has this acting gig down. Reminds me of Wu Lei in that they're both good child actors.
