You’re right, I waited for the series to be over so I could easily binge watch it but I guess I didn’t expect any of the pairings to not get together at the end. I already started watching it so I’ll just continue and hope, like everyone else, for the special episode to give Leon and Pob their Happy Ending. The waiting time seems to be bearable at least.

I just started this series but can somebody tell me what happens to Leon and Pob? The comments here are ambiguously ominous...

I usually wait till the series is over and then binge watch it, knowing that the last episode is supposed to air today I started watching this series. I somehow managed to watch the special episode prequel and the first episode of DNS and I’m already agreeing with you on a lot of things. Especially Leo planking over Fiat! I cringed so hard at their scene in the prequel but I just couldn’t figure out what felt so wrong and you put it into words so wonderfully! Thank you for that. I feel like it was a mistake giving Mame another chance but...yeah.

Also, the Uber-Uke thing is truly annoying. Watching Fiats overly dramatic crying scenes I feel like crying myself. Only for the wrong reason.

Nothing special but it was cute I guess. One of the main leads reminds me so much if Sam Lin! I probably added an extra star just for that.

I agree as I’m not sure about the demographic either. Maybe they wanted to try something new and see if they could entice audiences to watch something they usually don’t? Who knows. I wish they’d have connected these storylines much more closely, especially if they wanted the audience to watch all of the episodes. Tbh it reminds me a lot of En of Love in its concept. These shorts feel like a preface to something. Or they feel like a rough pitch that could be extended into a full series. But yeah , I’m not super about their original intentions with this project either

A „mess“ is the perfect word to describe ... whatever you want to call this.
I applaud them for the intention to want to bring awareness to serious issues like sexual harassment and toxic fan-service but they failed in its execution by a mile. The whole thing felt like a distorted, mirrored version of our reality, sugarcoated with an improbable Happy End and lacking any deep discussion about the important subjects. „Lovely Writer“ had a better grip on the issues of toxic fan-service and that’s saying something.
If you want to showcase reality, then make it realistic. Serious subjects need serious discussions and not this trifle, superficial shite.

I‘m still not over Gameplay not being a part of the series anymore but at least Perth is back. Yay for that!

Proud found her closure with Tac and was finally hesitantly about to move on with Jaidee, which was indicated by her accepting Jaidees call.

I’ve seen episodes 1 and 3 so far and I liked them. I know that many here seem to be disappointed in the GL storyline and I can see why but I myself quite liked it. I think the twist of the story is interesting and could’ve beautifully worked as a longer series. It would’ve been nice to see the psychological effect of the „twist“ on each character in detail, especially Proud and Jaidee. I don’t think that the ending was sad. It was open, sure, but it heavily indicated a happy ending to come.

Ngl, I only watched one episode. I simply couldn’t take it anymore, it was so incredibly boring and made little to no sense. The dialogue felt like it was written by a person who’s never ever touched a pen in their life.

Bas should’ve been the protagonist hands down. He is the most complicated character of the bunch and with an incredibly important story to tell too. I can’t believe they instead chose two one dimensional characters with barely any chemistry and zero substance to their „love story“ as the main protagonists.
I wonder if it was done because somehow they (the makers? The producers?) thought that the story might be too dark otherwise. Or maybe, because it’s a BL, there needs to be a conventional love story instead of an actually important topic at the forefront of this drama.
I‘m still gonna watch season 2 and just hope that Bas‘ll finally become a protagonist there. Micheal acting was great.

I swear! I didn’t get it either. Right up until that moment I could get behind what was happening in the story (to a degree) but that conversation was kind of a mess and didn’t feel complete. The acting in that particular scene wasn’t great either imo. I don’t understand why Sine refused Tan, especially after Tan openly confessed to him. Even disregarding the acting and only listening to the dialogue it still doesn’t make any sense to me..
And ep 6 continued trying to build something on that senseless mess of conflict

I can totally understand that feelings are complicated and it’s scary to pursue someone you like, especially if you’re unsure about their feeling towards you. It’s scary bc you need to open up to them and thus become vulnerable and vulnerability is scary. I felt it in this series. Both boys were too scared to approach each other directly but they still tried to gauge each other’s feeling in a subtle way by hiding behind the ”I’m kidding” facade. Tan was a bit bolder than Sine and Sine was actually reading Tans signs correctly. That is until the fourth episode where the story introduced a girl, Lin. The birthday moment was pretty awkward and I still can get behind what’s happened. Neither Sine nor Tan seemed to have any experience concerning love and relationships and Tans actions could be interpreted as being overwhelmed or flustered by the situation. He kept most of his attention on Lin and kind of disregarded Sine. I’ve known people like Tan in my life, who behave one way and then suddenly another and it’s hard to make sense of it unless they directly explain to you what’s going on in their head.

And because Sine and Tan weren’t together yet, it was easy for Sine to misunderstand the situation as Tan flirting with the girl. I would’ve probably felt the same way. I also understand why Sine felt like he couldn’t ask Tan about it directly as he was maybe scared to show that he misunderstood Tans feelings for him. Again, till now I can get behind all of these characters’ actions and emotions.
The conversation at the end of the 5th episode should’ve been quite important and emotional but it was acted out so badly that I was confused. Until that moment the acting was decent but in that scene it felt lifeless, emotionless and straight up off. The dialogue was mostly fine, it’s just that the acting sucked.
90% of the 6th episode was completely unnecessary. At that point both boys lost me somewhere around the end of ep 5. After that messy conversation I couldn’t understand why Sine was so against a relationship with Tan and why he suddenly changed his mind so quickly.
I wish they’d have cut the 6 ep completely and instead prolonged the conversation at the end of ep 5. Imo it would’ve been better if they talked it out, resolved their misunderstandings and ended up together.

Im gonna mention that I’m not a big fan of mathematics and most if the stuff they talked about confused me. Maybe it’s bc I don’t understand mathe but it felt kind of pretentious to me. But it’s probably bc I really felt lost most of the time they talked about trigonometry and stuff lol

A bit of an awkward mess but I still enjoyed it, at least till the end of the 5th episode. Notwithstanding the nearly incomprehensible editing I was mostly on board with what happened till the end of the 5th episode.

It took me a century to finish this. I couldn’t connect with any of the characters at all. I felt nothing. I honestly don’t know which was more boring, this or Oxygen.

I do feel kinda bad for Kane’s actor though. He seems promising and deserves a better series
