I find it interesting. I wonder if Change 2561 is making a statement with this drama. In Pitbabe 2 we had a nude…
Did they really say that? That they wouldn’t do BLs bc they are popular enough without them? Or did they only mean NC and not the bl genre in general? Though I guess nowadays you barely find a bl without nc apart from high school stuff.
I just finished ep 5 and am seriously contemplating dropping the show. It’s such a slog and I feel like nothing is happening and I’m not even sure what exactly is supposed to happen. It’s so confusing and everybody seems to be dragging their feet. I liked the first episode bc it was campy fun but onwards it has gotten to the low end of mediocre (if not lower). Man, it’s so annoying bc I don’t like dropping shows but this one is testing my patience hard lol Not even Neo can make me enjoy it, Neo! He usually makes every show enjoyable for me but this one is too deep in the crap 😅
I’ve finished ep 4 and I don’t know…the story just doesn’t grab me. I’m not even sure I know what the story is exactly. Nakan has barely made an appearance and Neo has very little screen time. Joss and Gawin are…there. I don’t have much to say apart from that it doesn’t grab me which is a bit surprising since I usually enjoy the first half of most GMM BLs. Is it even worth finishing at this point? Probably not
I think this bl just didn't age well. Bl's nowadays are much more bolder about showing affection through skinship.…
Agreed. When I watched it I constantly had the feeling like the actors were scared of properly touching each other (I don’t even mean sexually). Like there was almost fear in their eyes. Felt very “no-homo” to me
Gmmtv’s main audiences are BL viewers and I guess that’s their way of fulfilling their non-BL quota by filling it with BL like content to still appeal to their main audiences.
Those who've read the novel, can you help me with something? I bought the novel halfway through the series because…
Hi! If you’ve read the novel could you tell me if there’s more info about Dr Nil and Alex in there than in the show? In the show they have very little screen-time and only some implications regarding their relationship conflict and I would’ve liked to know more.
I’m kind of excited about seeing them back together but is this really gonna happen? Feels unreal to me. Anyway, why does Aki’s head look so fakely photoshopped onto his body? Lol
It’s not a bad show at all if you’re not expecting a romance (which I did bc I didn’t check this page before…
My main problem is the time jump after she rejected both, Leemhai and Nine. We never see her take accountability for her actions towards her friends. She did apologize to her love interests but what about her friends? She constantly blamed bad luck for her life choices and after she acknowledged that fact we don’t see her grow from there. Just a time skip and that’s all. I’d have liked to see her attitude change over time. Didn’t even have to be long, could’ve been a montage of sorts but oh well. It was enjoyable overall, especially the humor.
It’s not a bad show at all if you’re not expecting a romance (which I did bc I didn’t check this page before spontaneously deciding to watch the show after seeing the EWB trailer). It’s about Na trying to decide what she wants or doesn’t want in her life. The ending here is rather open but not completely without a hint. I did struggle with liking Na a lot though and most of the time she was borderline unlikable to me.
Can somebody tell me if the ending is a happy or a sad one? If possible without major spoilers. I liked the trailer but the rating seems strangely low for a bl..
