Thank you 😁 I’m happy to know I’m not the only one who thought that the show was..lacking (to put it mildly). I was really baffled by the extraordinary amount of high ratings. You made the right call to drop the show bc as ridiculous as the first half was, the second half is has nothing on it!

I personally fully agree with you on your take on Omegaverse. You put perfectly into words what I’ve been struggling with. Years back I’ve tried reading some omegaverse manga but quickly realized that it’s basically thinly veiled excuse for heterosexuality.

It had some really fun parts but also some really boring parts. I wish they’d leaned much more into the campy side. It certainly was campy but not nearly enough to make it hysterically funny ..

I couldn’t agree more! It felt so lonely going through all those splendid reviews and not being able to connect. I wanted to love this story and I liked the acting itself but I simply couldn’t connect with the character or the story. The pacing seemed weird and clunky. I loved the first two episodes and I personally thought the story would continue in a way that lets Ai explore and learn more about May and her relationship with Oom and try to figure out if May somehow was involved in Ooms accident but that wasn’t it at all. Overall I found it kind of boring and I still need to watch the last two episodes…

It’s not really gonna get better or pick up speed imo. It’s somewhat watchable on 1.5x speed but if you have no problems dropping shows, I’d say drop it..

This drama had some nice moments but overall I was left feeling meh. Gem and Fourth were cute though and I liked watching Fourth act.

The original Mouse drama was so dark and intense and this looks so…cute?

My two winners are Dog and a Plane and Burnout Syndrome but I’m also very excited about Ticket to Heaven and Only Friends 2 with an honorable mention of Cat for Cash bc of FK and the cats.

I love this pilot trailer so much! This is probably my most anticipated GMM show out of the whole 2025 lineup, which is surprising considering how many unique shows and bl sub genres GMM decided try their hands on this time. This looks like such a typical rom-com and yet, somehow, I just can’t stop re-watching the trailer! I didn’t even know it was Jojo’s but it kinda makes sense bc I usually adore his works and they really tend to stand out imo.

I’m very excited for this show bc I’ve wanted a messy GL since what feels like forever but…
I feel like stories like this and Only Friends don’t work as well with already established pairings bc it takes away a huge chunk of suspense and tension. Imo these types of messy shows work best if the viewer doesn’t know which characters/couples gonna end up together. I remember how much Friendzone and its sequel kept me on my toes, I wasn’t sure about the endgame couples till the last second.
Here, it’s obvious that Namtan&Film and Milk&Love gonna be endgame (I’d be insanely surprised if they don’t) bc they are already an established ship. No idea about View and Mim though…maybe those two’ll receive the Boston/Nick treatment, who knows.

The best part for me was seeing Boston again. I know people hated him but, fuck it, I’m glad he’s back! Hopefully for more than just a short cameo.
