I did not like the ending of this drama. Ya Long waited for centuries to be with the FL and when they finally had a chance, the master gets in the way and the FL sacrifices her existence because of this. But it was definitely worth the watch.
I think she married the brother at the end, very ambiguous. But he walks dow the tunnel alone because she dies not too long after because of her terminal illness that she didn't get treatment for.
I've only just watched 6 episodes and I love and find it hilarious how Lei Ao is the only person who is even remotely close to figuring out she's a girl since their first meeting. He's always comparing her to a girl or outright saying she is one, not by her features, but by her attitude and personality. Wish he was the lead.
Satisfying ending. Waited the entire show for a HEA and we got one. The chemistry was the best out of everything I've watched, the ML and FL have hot chemistry and the ML is described as the "devil" bad guy throughout. He does do bad things, but he was always good, better than the "good" guys, to the FL. The way he looks at the FL and treats her, I litterally watched it for their scenes together, and in the last 20 or so episodes, just skipped straight to their scenes
I'm more than halfway through episode 2 and I just can't with the FL's lines. WTF is she saying, I can't not cringe and skip all her weird lines. She just says everything WRONG. I like the ML and they seem to have chemistry, if I mute the audio and not read the subtitles it's somewhat bearable, that is if the FL didn't think ML was her BROTHER.
I LOVED all of the characters, but the Long Xian really annoyed me sometimes whenever he would get angry at his friends. He can be so sweet and is usually kinda dumb most of the time. But his character was really toxic with all his relationships, especially with Yaya. At least with Bai Lusheng, they had somewhat of an equal footing, which was one of the best things about their relationship. Long Xian and Bai Lusheng were complete opposites in every way, one was raised to be a commander and emperor, and the other was more of a scholar. Long had the muscle (he had the army and the wealth) whilst Bai had the brains (prior to the events of the story, Bai litterally had it all). They fit like a puzzle and complete each other. With Long, Bai litterally had no one and nothing, but Long gave him a family (himself, Yaya and the Dragon army) whilst Bai tought Long so much and became the brother Long always needed.
The story doesn't end at the end of the series. Long and Yaya have a somewhat satisfactory ending, but Bai's story of revenge didn't even begin. This show really needs a season 2. And by the way the last few episodes were headed, season 2 would have been amazing with a more singular plot focused solely on the revenge that was built up since season 1. Since the story of the other charecters seems to have concluded, that would make a lot of sense.
