Hopefully those K-Netizens won't boycott this drama too much because of him.
Why would they? The general consensus in S. Korea right now is against Choi Hye Mi. KHJ still gets censored for being stupid about her, for admitting to indulging in casual sex, & for having a kid out of wedlock. Those are all moral & image problems, but they aren't major. The SK public really despises Choi Hye Mi, on the other hand. She's been outed by the courts as the toxic money-grubbing liar she is, and to have used a child in her schemes. I will say that KHJ has always gotten lots of negative comments on his acting, but he did very well in his last drama - so hopefully he will do a stellar job in this one :D
Love the plot, hate the jerk actor. Will skip this one.
One hopes you simply dislike KHJ as a actor. If, however, you are one of those delusional anti-fans who still believe Choi Hye Mi's lies, that's disgusting.
No we DON'T 'get that he abused someone' - the South Korean courts certainly don't agree with that at all, Choi…
I really know a great deal about this case and have popped in from time to time on several of these message boards to spread facts, since the amount of defamation is rampant. Yes, guess what, the SK courts DID prove Choi Hye Mi to be a liar. She finally admitted it. She's got ZERO evidence of ever being abused at all - one medical certificate of minor bruising that's consistent with KHJ's account of the one mutually physical shoving match between the two. That's IT. She has nothing, and has been proven a liar and convicted of fraud in court - she lost all her civil cases and was fined. How's THAT for clues as to which person in this case might be telling the truth??? He certainly deserves a 'second chance' since he's her victim.
exactly, someone who gets it. kdramas, well Asian dramas in general, are never scary lol. they just can't be due…
Again, there are quite a few scary Korean dramas despite censorship - that's my entire point with Hitchcock. Censorship in Hollywood at the time most of his films were made was equal to and in certain aspects worse than the censorship in Korea today, yet those are some of the scariest films ever made. Psycho would easily pass SK censorship. Save Me and Voice ARE very scary indeed - the censorship doesn't matter. Both are dark and disturbing. So are Gap Dong, and The Devil. ALL of which I've SEEN.

Yes they CAN be scary - HITCHCOCK kind of scary. Gore certainly does not equate to frightening at all. This does get very suspenseful and scary - never know who's going to be attacked and who's the evil one.
I wanted him to stay dead instead of actually being alive. That was the thrilling part for me and kind of wanted…
Having dark characters and sad endings can be just as predictable as happy outcomes. Just take a quick look at American TV nowadays. A realistic happy ending, or a show with realistically portrayed positive characters, is a rare diamond indeed.
I hope he has learnt from his past mistakes and that people won't attack this show because of him. We get that…
No we DON'T 'get that he abused someone' - the South Korean courts certainly don't agree with that at all, Choi Hye Mi offered up no proof of abuse whatsoever. Try, try again. KHJ is the victim of a delusional female here.
You have to be kidding me. Why him? This pd is crazy. Ugh.
You are totally nuts, not KHJ. You realize SME is the one deciding this? Because they bought KeyEast? They wanted KHJ enough to negotiate with him, allowing him to retain control of his newly created music company. LOL
He's a con man - and most likely a psychopath (as most are). He's also got a photographic memory, possibly OCD. I'm wondering if Hong Bin is his partner in crime....
I love how people, faced with a drama where the script is going off course and some of the dialogue (especially…
Honey, my comment has NOTHING to do with opinion. There's a script, and actors are expected to follow it. Then, when said script is bad, people like you blame said ACTOR instead of the writer. That's not an opinion. It's a fact. Just exactly what makes you think his ACTING was bad, other than cliched dialogue & messy plot? Cause that's what's being outlined as 'bad acting' - and it's not. It's bad writing. Go ahead, give an instance of actual bad acting.

He'll look great for years.
