Nope sorry but no. I never shipped them. He was selfish and self-center for still pursuing her. He knew the son…
I think YSY does fine, but I do have an idea why perhaps you are getting those vibes from him. He does indeed do silly, crazy fun stuff soooo very well :D I just love him, period.
This drama had a lot of potential, sadly in the middle way they started to focus too much in romance part, they…
????? WTF - you do realize that's a very important part of many, many KDramas, right? Unlike Western dramas where fighting seems SOOO much more important than positive relationships, KDramas DO focus on inpersonal interactions, especially on fairly realistic romances (vs bedhopping & lust, masquerading as 'love')
I have a question So how hyunjae disappeared in the '94 (the sick one, not this one from the future) I think…
You do know the meaning of the word 'anonymously' ? I'm sure he arranged it so when he died nobody knew who he was (that's if he didn't just throw himself in a volcano or something)....
Everyone who knew Ji Hoon really is Hyun Jae's son and that there are two Hyun Jaes, you guys are superb!…
Nobody except the writers etc 'knew' this. I also didn't read much speculation about Hyun Jae being split in two. I must say, being a Far Scape fan (well, actually, a flat out Scaper) - I should have thought along these lines... Love the fact that this is how the writers resolved these issues!!! Twin typhoons (is this actually a thing?) - perfect!!!! Totally takes care of the whole 'how can Ji Hoon be his son & still have a happy ending' problem :D
Nope sorry but no. I never shipped them. He was selfish and self-center for still pursuing her. He knew the son…
I do totally agree that she never said she had no feelings for Ji Hoon. She flat out said she was scared of starting anything with him because it might end up destroying their friendship.
However, this drama had a lot of undercurrents about how people's decisions can actually change how they feel. The 1993 Hyun Jae hasn't developed any special feelings for Bo Hee, for instance, while 1994 Hyun Jae obviously did. There was a big split ie Hyun Jae changed a lot in that year - possibly due to both falling for Bo Hee & then finding he was dying. 1993 Hyun Jae changed a lot as well, in a totally different direction, due to seeing the consequences of 'his' actions plus meeting both his son & WS.
This has been dreadful. Not sure where the good reviews come from.
What attack? You are rather uber sensitive I see. The real attack came from the orginal poster. Really, when one decides to make such a negative comment without anything to support it, what else can one expect other than a request for clarification?
I find it amazing ~snark~ how hard it is to keep secrets in SK - once the show starts. They've successfully hidden all sorts of things for 20-odd years, but whoa, once the drama begins, everybodies' well-kept identities just pop out for the most inept searchers LOL
Seriously, could the writers of these things do a LITTLE better job of verasimilitude? It hurts my head.
Been reading a lot of negative feedback (several places) about the drama and the lead actress BEFORE the drama…
I also find not much similarity to Goblin, other than the ancient WaterGod involved w/a human girl. But of course Habaek was NEVER human.
Goblin had a much more serious tone to it than this drama, which is just a delightful romp :D Very funny!
Mind, Goblin really was an exceptional drama - and NEVER put me to sleep once....
Why do I feel that the leads do not have chemistry at all? Or is it just me?
As I said, I don't know your background. If you truly believe what you say, why are you wasting your time in school trying to learn show business? Really? Anyway, you entirely missed my point.
Why do I feel that the leads do not have chemistry at all? Or is it just me?
No basis other than your opinion, which seems uninformed. Maybe it's not, I don't know. Bottom line, I'm really tired of people thinking that their own personal opinion is somehow just as good as the informed opinions of experts. I see this constantly, in all sorts of areas (ie not just critiques of creative works, where there is always going to be some subjectivity, but in some rather surprising areas like SCIENCE). There is a huge difference between not personally liking something (for reasons of taste etc) and thinking something isn't good. In YOUR opinion there is no chemistry. Why do you think that, I wonder? Any objective reasons?
Which leads back to your first statements - someone watching an actor's work does NOT necessarily give them the qualifications to determine their ability as an actor - it simply gives the average person the knowledge of whether they LIKE said actor or not. Most people don't KNOW enough about acting/singing/dancing/costume/directing/etc etc etc to give an informed opinion about the quality of these things. All they usually can do is say 'I liked it' or 'I didn't like it'.
As for me being overly sensitive, LOL I just am tired of people thinking they are experts on everything all the time & assuming their opinions are just as good as real experts (which BTW I'm not unless you talk creative writing or costume).
Can you please help me? I was hyped up when I first read synopsis (it was talking about a king's love which…
I basically thought it insulting that you thought that because Im Shi Wan is from ZEA ie an idol that means he can't act & lowers your opinion of the drama. It doesn't. At. All. As far as Yoona, well, lots of people don't like her acting style. She doesn't bother me.
Excellent light-hearted little sageuk despite the inevitable intrusion of palace politics. I adored this. It never took itself seriously and gave us a lovely last look at Joo Won & his dimples before he went to MS. Don't watch if you insist that plots must be logical and if you hate anachronisms LOL Just let your mind loose & go with the flow - it's so refreshing :d
I haven't seen this drama yet but I love Joo Won, and I don't how I can drop this drama since I've…
Joo Won is a marvelous actor - I agree he's a bit better than Ji Chang Wook but not by much. They both started in musical theatre & it shows. Gong Yoo tho, he's just amazing - of course he's got about 10 years start on the other two....
