Why do I feel that the leads do not have chemistry at all? Or is it just me?
That's a lot of nonsense. There's chemistry, she's not a terrible actress. Just admit you don't LIKE her & move on. That is your prerogative. Don't try to justify it with these flat pronouncements that don't have a basis in anything other than YOUR biased opinion.

Title Healer
This drama was okay but wan't great, its overrated, their were only like 4 fight scenes only and the two…
EVEN Bridal Mask???? You know that Bridal Mask is just an overall masterpiece, I HOPE. I do agree that Healer is in the same class. I loved City Hunter, but JCW & Joo Won are both better actors than Lee Min Ho despite my appreciation for him - plus both of them had better stories, more coherent plots & much more satisfying endings (not City Hunter's fault of course since it was a prequel). As for acting, good grief - all 3 had the usual stellar supporting cast cause Korean dramas have this incredible pool of experienced actors to draw from. In fact these dramas shared some actors.
Your comment has very little validity. We get that you are a LMH fan & loved City Hunter, but that doesn't mean that it becomes better just by you dissing other dramas - especially when your criticisms are less than informed.

Title The King in Love Spoiler
I read what happens in the novel and I feel disappointed : ( Why my ships never sail in K dramaland?
You may not have shipped him - I'm not talking about that kind of thing. I'm talking about the way the writers intended the story to go which has nothing to do with who I wanted to see her end up with. In the 3rd one, if you bother to go back & parse it out, it becomes pretty easy to understand how BoGum ended up with her, which again has NOTHING to do with me, you, or anyone else wanting him to do so! Has to do with the writing!
I really do wish they'd given some closure to the other guy tho - I adored him & his character & kept rooting for him. There were hints (from the writing team ie assistants) that he was meant to die in his plane but they didn't do it cause the network shied away - ergo that's why he didn't show up in the final scenes :(

It's just a handful of Shin Se Kyung haters, actually....

Shouldn't Nam Joo-Hyuk be 1st in character importance...
Exactly. He's totally worth watching in this even if Shin Se Kyung was half as bad as some of these commenters want to pretend she is. I could care. I do in fact think she's doing a fine job, tho.
And then there is Gong Myung, just hamming it up so well! Love this!

Is this good? how come the rating so low..:-)
Ignore the ratings here. It means nothing. This is just an adorable little fantasy, complete with lots of eye candy! If you like this kind of romp, go for it!

I came with expectations, then i saw Im Yoon Ah. And now i'm leaving.
Cheomdanggon Alice was adorable. Park Shi Woo was acquitted BTW - didn't do anything except have a one night hook-up (how AWFUL for a grown man over 30!!!) As for the hate towards this wonderful little actress, whatever, but how SHALLOW are you people? Really?
Goddess of Fire, they changed not only history but the source novel itself! For those of you who blather about how 'it's fiction so it doesn't matter they can do whatever' Yeah, right, but it leads to mainly horrible writing. Unless it's an out and out farce (Inglorious Bastards), an alternate timeline (see myriad SF stories) or just written by such a genius that it doesn't matter they were doing a rewrite (Shakespeare, or for that matter Sophocles - Oedipus Rex) a writer who ignores or changes known history when presenting the work AS a historical fiction is missing the entire point of such a novel/drama/film, as well as destroying that willing suspension of disbelief VITAL to enjoying fiction. Some of those who whine that historical fiction doesn't 'need' to follow known historical facts simply don't KNOW the history of course....
As for Goddess of Fire - watch until our ninja warrior Kim Bum follows her kidnappers , then stop that episode & just watch the last 15 minutes of the final episode. Really. This should save much heartburn.

Title The King in Love Spoiler
I read what happens in the novel and I feel disappointed : ( Why my ships never sail in K dramaland?
I do think that w/the Reply series there really are TWO leads, especially in the last one!!!!! As for the 2nd one, Chilbongie is the lead despite not getting the girl (the writers admitted that they planned all along for him to be the hubby but the producers or possibly higher decided a poll would be fun - let the viewers choose - wayyy late in the game as in after 12th episode when lots of clues had already been laid). I didn't care which one got her starting out, but as I followed the story & the clues, I not only felt cheated but felt that it just was wrong - I KNEW some of those things were NOT as planned - this even before the writers admitted what happened.
So anyway I don't think those count for 2nd lead getting the girl.

louloudi you are wrong about Reply88 - you had to be really clever to figure it out before the big reveal but afterwards it was very understandable.

Dramas where 2nd leads get the girl? Joo Won in Baker King Kim Tak Gu is the major one I can think of. Nail Shop Paris (the ONLY good thing about it). Passionate Love (50 episode makjang weekend drama).

It doesn't matter that he started out in ZE:A. He's a fantastic actor who's earned the right to be judged as one rather than as an idol. His appearance in this drama totally offsets Yoona's limited acting abilities (although as I've said before I don't think she's ever been given a role beyond her abilities - none of her roles have been particularly challenging LOL)

LOL Although Woody Allen is a disgusting person INSIDE as well as out, while poor Moon Geun Young seems a nice enough young person inside. But I get your point.

Huhuhu ... Haters still come and talk like u guys pro about acting .. So sad haters .
Basically, what I'm saying is that just because you don't LIKE some actor for whatever reason does NOT equate to that person being a bad actor. That's all.

Fun fact about Moon Geun Young - you may hate her for whatever reason, but she's actually a REALLY good actress by industry standards. That won't make you want to watch anything with her in it of course - I do understand about that. I can't stand Woody Allen for reasons, & have problems watching his films now :( But that doesn't take away from his true genius for filmmaking. Two different things.

Anyone here who actually knows something about acting? Just throwing that out. Those who don't like Yoona - I say whatever. I doubt it's really because of her acting abilities or lack thereof. She's got facial expressions. I'm personally not thinking she's the next Meryl Streep or Korean equivalent (of which there are several) but she's perfectly okay for the roles she's been given. Of course if you HATE her, that's a huge problem LOL

Paulina, You are simply a prejudiced fool, I see. TWO idols????? REALLY???? Im Shin Wan????? He's a fantastic actor, moron. Go watch Misaeng to inform yourself. Also, K2 didn't have a downfall - it got respectable ratings & Yoona simply did what the writers/director wanted her to do. Everyone was watching JCW & Song Yoon Ah anyway LOL

Actually there's this thing called an INFORMED opinion. So many persons have not got a clue about what makes great or terrible acting - so many people call out a performer for bad acting when it is the writing or directing they don't like. An uninformed viewer has a very hard time seeing the difference. Then there are people who simply don't like an actor for one reason or another (many of those on this comment board bashing Yoona fall into THAT category). Their dislike has nothing to do with whether she can act or not.
So no, everyone's opinions are NOT equal. There are real, objective standards by which to judge acting, or most anything. Just because some random person doesn't like a particular actor, film, drama - for whatever personal reason - has absolutely no bearing on the quality of said performance.
