This is a fun, light-hearted fantasy drama that's definitely not meant to be taken seriously.

WHY do all of you who say this is somehow 'boring' not explain what you mean for those of us who don't see this? What's boring about it? You might not like the premise, the writing, the characters (you give a good quick reason for not liking the female lead), the progression of the story. But just saying 'oh it's boring' says absolutely nothing. Just makes me shrug and go WTF.

Maybe to you. I found this so very entertaining :D I love conmen themes.

What upset me was how she seemed to get that the guy was playing her best friend, yet still couldn't just be an adult and refuse to act on her base instincts. I get being attracted to the wrong guy (oh lord, been there, done that) but if he does things that are just not ok (like screwing over your BFF) that's it. People pretending it's so hard to do this are just trying to justify their own bad behavior - lust, greed, whatever.
I'm much better now that the BFF died, in a way that did NOT make Moo Young the cause (although yeah, he stirred the pot). But dumping sweet puppy cop - nope. Mean.

KDramas do all things timey wimey extremely well - why shouldn't the writer do this? I'm enjoying it a lot, certainly not bored. I do agree that not much has been explained, reaper-wise.

I agree that we've not gotten much explanation yet, but I certainly don't find it boring at all - I like the little side-plots so far :D

I'd suggest dropping it then. You will totally miss out on the logical flow of the story (such as it is) so why give yourself pain?

This is a cute, silly little drama based on a fairy tale. Adorable.

This is cute and has some unique twists so far. BTW everything has been done before if you are just looking at genres and general plots. This has gaping differences between Goblin and My Love From Another Star, which themselves were very very different from each other. Just because a drama has a romance, includes some supernatural elements, has reapers (BTW MLFAS did NOT) hardly makes it the same as all other dramas sharing those elements.
This drama is the first one for the KBS-W channel, and while sweet and interesting is not high budget - getting KHJ gives the drama a shot in the arm due to his fanbase and his excellent OST. It's not competing with Goblin LOL

I don't think you are following this story very closely.

Again, there is a huge difference between not liking a SCRIPT and bad acting. The actors in this drama are doing their jobs, very well in fact. You seem to dislike the script and then wanting to somehow blame the actor.

From your comment you mean? Sorry darling. I've simply disagreed with you about the 'bad acting' comment. Just because you don't like the script (obviously) doesn't justify dissing the actors. I'm pretty tired of seeing that constantly on comment boards.

This is so very charming and adorable so far - I love these fantasy dramas and this one is not disappointing so far (although, only the first episode LOL)

OMG darling LOL I've been following this case since it started 4 years ago, using translations of Naver/Daum and all the major South Korean news both televised and written, in translation. I'm able to CHECK translations to a degree since I'm studying Korean! So I'm getting MY info from press releases from the lawyers on both sides, the police, the prosecutors and the official court results. I don't know where YOU are getting YOUR information. Nothing you are saying makes a lick of sense at all. I do believe YOU should stop getting information from hate sites LOL
She didn't produce ANY evidence of abuse except that one 2-week bruising medical certificate, since the rib injury had 2 conflicting reports (meaning one of the DOCTORS lied). She DID submit her phone records to the court, and she had witnesses testify for her. Didn't prove anything. She LIED.
Plus, she, thru her own lawyer, kept making contradictory statements = she screwed her own self.
The defense tactic, very late in the game BTW (ie spring 2015,
over half a year after her accusations), was to uncover her lies. Are you accusing Lawyer Kim of fabricating evidence? That's a serious charge. In fact what you say in toto defames the entire South Korean justice system, including the military. Based on nothing except prejudice against KHJ.
This kind of nonsense is what you haters and anti-fans have been forced back on LOL Your precious princess Choi Hye Mi has lost all her court cases and appeals, faces an appeal by the prosecutors to give her a harsher sentence after her conviction of fraud and defamation in criminal court, and admitted she lied (and apologized for it).
