Hey, misinformed one - the only assault that KHJ was fined for was this rib injury which she lied about. She's got only one credible, undisputed doctor's certificate - one for 2-week bruising - from the May 2014 mutual fight involving KHJ pushing Choi and Choi attacking him - that injury (the bruising) is consistent with KHJ's account. Not assault - a MUTUALLY physical fight. So no, she's got NOTHING on him. Plus, that May fight? That's the one where she lied about KHJ causing her to miscarry (you know, when she WASN'T even pregnant). Which also caused her to be convicted of fraud. She admitted this and apologized.
I understand you have a hard time with reading comprehension, but Choi Hye Mi DROPPED all her charges in Sept 2014 after receiving half a million dollars in settlement. She was NOT the one 'sueing' him for that rib injury at all. The injury as described in that 2nd medical certificate was serious enough that the police had to send it to the prosecutors despite the victim dropping the charge! Got that? NOT a lawsuit at all! She didn't 'win' it, nor get that money. The judicial system of SK charged KHJ with assault (his intentions were immaterial - didn't matter if he meant to hurt her or not) and THEY fined him, and of course THEY got that money! Sheesh.
Once again, let me repeat what you could find out yourself if you bothered to do proper research: Choi Hye Mi has lost every civil lawsuit she's filed against KHJ, lost the appeals, been FINED by the judge in her OWN lawsuit LOL, and on top of that, convicted in a CRIMINAL court of fraud and defamation, and lost that appeal! The prosecutors of that criminal trial were so upset she got off with just a fine that THEY have appealed to the Supreme Court of SK to give her a harsher sentence LOL

No I did not - go back and read the edit, dear. My descriptive phrase was misleading so I made sure to clarify what I was modifying - ie he DID show her some martial arts moves. But that's likely not the cause of her injury despite what she told him and what he believed.

It has nothing at all to do with martial arts except that's the only thing KHJ could remember doing with Choi Hye Mi that might have caused this injury. Problem is, if he did, she didn't even go to the doctor for 3 weeks after the day he showed her those martial arts moves. THREE WEEKS living with a BROKEN rib????? Are you just totally ignorant of human anatomy? Nope. I've explained this in other comments, one to you, so go read it and check on it. This is one of the reasons Choi Hye Mi got convicted of fraud, my dear. She has lost every single lawsuit she filed against KHJ, as well as all her appeals. She's a convicted liar & fraud.

Nope, wrong. The prosecutors in 2014 only had the one (later) medical certificate for that rib injury, stating it was a 6-week recovery time. That's serious no matter how it happened, and KHJ said he'd done it. Accidentally or not. The prosecutor flat-out said it didn't matter, they didn't have to address the motivation behind the injury since KHJ admitted responsibility.
Problem is, Choi LIED about that. She had first gone to a doctor saying she fell at a gym (there are witnesses BTW), but that doctor only gave her a 3-week injury report, so she went to another one WITHIN the WEEK, told that doctor her BF beat her, and HE gave her a 6-week report. Without any xrays. Oops, she lied. One of the doctors lied. Wonder which medical certificate is accurate?
Only problem, this didn't surface until late Spring 2015, after KHJ's daddy finally got him an excellent criminal lawyer who ordered a full investigation.

I just answered you. Read it. Go back and so some research on this case. Plus he paid the court, not her. That half a million dollar settlement was before the fine for the rib injury, & was extorted from him by Choi, who was telling him and his agency (in fall 2014) she'd drop all charges if he paid her. She hadn't told the police about that FAKED miscarriage which KHJ really believed he'd caused, ergo what she had hanging over his head.
Anyone still believing her or feeling sorry for her has either not kept up with this case, is getting their info from one of the hate sites, or is just blindered by hate themselves.

No. He didn't. She lied about the rib injury. She got a DOCTOR to lie about it as well.
KHJ thought he'd accidentally hurt her while showing her some martial arts moves (obviously he DID do that - show her the moves). BUT further investigation, after KHJ had been fined (cause he told the police he DID it) shows that Choi lied about how she got the injury. There are witnesses who saw her fall at her gym.
So I do suggest you go back - she hasn't won a single lawsuit at all. That fine came from the prosecutors because all they had was the 6-week injury report and KHJ saying he was responsible. Try to wrap all this around your meager understanding.

No broken ribs. Not even fractured. BRUISED - and most likely from an injury at a gym. Get your facts straight - you are not getting information from objective up to date sources at all.
BTW - the big difference in those two medical certificates comes from the two doctors, who give completely different diagnosis. The first one said 3-week injury, 2nd one (you know, who thought she'd been beaten up) gave her a 6-week injury. But didn't bother with xrays ??? Oh, & yeah, it's normal for abuse victims to lie - but THIS creature doctor-shopped - she got those 2 medical statements within a one-week period. That's NOT usual at all. Plus there were witnesses who saw her fall at that gym.

That's a good question - I think she didn't get 'immune' until she was approached by him in a time stop.

My Mister and Good Doctor are among the best KDramas ever made - highly suggest you watch them!
This FL is borderline annoying for me, but I can deal with her. I love the concept of time manipulation, the reapers, and of course KHJ - so I'm very much enjoying this drama so far. LOVED that art heist!!!

THAT WOMAN never had any broken ribs at all - even the medical certificate stating a 6 week injury never talked of BROKEN ribs! This is exactly the kind of fake information that's been spreading for 4 years. Go back and read the actual police reports, medical certificates, prosecutor and court reports - you will not find that injury reported as anything other than rib injury - ie bruised ribs.

The ending wasn't horrible. An example of a horrible ending: Goddess of Fire, Shine or Go Crazy, Black. This one was annoying. You are right, the whole 'let's reject the Prince to have a cutesy reconciliation' thing was banal. But it wasn't awful.

ABUSE means that someone consistently did something negative to another person. It does NOT refer to pushing someone out of your house, or away from you, who is trying to harm you.
Choi Hye Mi has no evidence that she's ever been beaten. She has one uncontested medical certificate of bruising consistent with the account of KHJ that he pushed her.
On the other hand, she has been proven a liar, and lost every single one of her court cases and appeals.
So, I don't believe her at all. If you really do just go by what's been proven in court, then there's no reason to suppose KHJ did anything other than show bad judgement.
