Nonsense. You are free to not like this show of course but your reasoning is illogical. The romance in the show is well-balanced by the political intrigue as well as the amazing action sequences. I understand that many viewers are conditioned to expect shallow throwaway emotional connections from action heroes but thankfully this trend has not taken over in SK yet. The emotional connections here were much more realistic than your average Hollywood action film - which is why many of us love these dramas so much. You want nothing but action go watch The Expendables or their ilk - dot demand that every show follow your preferences.

I think there are people who want certain dramas to fail, and use any tiny flaw to declare the drama horrible and going downhill. The reasons vary, but it is a highly objectionable attitude to take regardless of the reasons.

JCW actually has real talent as an actor - he's able to pull off the nuanced emotional scenes. If he were only in action dramas it would be a total waste of his acting abilities.

The writer obviously DID learn from the mistake of Yong Pal - cause the epic wrong turn has YET to happen and we are 2 episodes from the end. Do not understand your logic here. This is much better than Yong Pal.

Oh - and that excuses murder and moving people around as if on a chessboard? Not just ones that have wronged her, or deserve it - just anyone ? Why no it does NOT excuse her. Understanding how she became so damaged does not negate a single thing Je Ha said to her. How could he possibly be her friend when she's threatening the woman he loves, when she basically has shown no compunction whatsoever over killing anyone random who's in the wrong place? Like Anna's HH staff, for instance? Nope. I can pity her & understand her, as well as totally admire the actress (awesome job), I agree her life has been sad & pitiful, but OOPS there's a limit to what that excuses. And cold-blooded murder, and using people then throwing them away like so much garbage, is not okay at all ever.

Mikhal, you are spouting some total insanity. Every single thing Je Ha said was true, and he said it in a very objective, thoughtful manner (ie not trying to shame her, just get her to understand some home truths about her obsessive behavior). I'd expect creepy secretary to talk that way LOL

OMG you really do miss the point of fiction writers here. Yes there ARE lines drawn between good and bad behaviour here. Song Yoon Ah's excellent acting makes her portrayal of Yoo Jin BELIEVABLE, a well-rounded villain - one I like watching due to the pure artistry involved - but oh, honey, I am far far far from being a Yoo Jin apologist! That character is a nasty bit of goods by any definition.
Fiction, good fiction, mirrors reality in some way that is meaningful to the viewer/reader. Anyone who mistakenly thinks fiction has no connection to the 'real' world does not understand the power of the storyteller AT ALL.

There is NOTHING he said that's not spot-on accurate! She's all about pitying herself but obviously has no pity or compassion for anyone else. You really are writing your own script here.

Judging this drama on less than one episode is, well, short-sighted. Turns out, if you cared to watch two more episodes, that it is not anything that you described. You may not like this genre, but this drama is well-written, superbly acted, highly original and unpredictable, and tells a very intricate and logical story.

Leaving Anna out would be POINTLESS - I'm sorry but I just don't buy this at all. Without her it would be a simple revenge drama without much interest to me, for sure. And OMG this kind of story is not MEANT to be realistic in the slightest - it's a classic spy/political thriller like Bond or Bourne.

Not so true actually (why K2 viewers shipped Jeha & Yoojin) - the chemistry between K2 & Yoojin is palpable & strong - even if it's a chemistry between enemies or, you know, insane crazed byotch & hot invincible security dude LOL Yoona really doesn't factor into that one way or the other. In fact the Jeha/Yoona romance is a sweet, sincere contrast!

Still living up to it's promise (action suspense adventure ala Bourne or Bond, leave common sense & logic totally out of the equation...) :D Such a great fun ride so far - I truly hope this will end without a descent out of the intended genre into something else.

So far so good - they've passed that deadly 12 episode mark (the one where Yong Pal disintegrated) and are going strong :D I've high hopes The K2 will manage to make it thru the next 2 episodes w/o self-destruction... We'll see...

I agree except that I really do not share your dislike for Hae Soo. I liked her.
