just stop this ridiculous jeha&anna romance! ramen scene, 'kiss' scene, rooftop scene - they all…
MY point is that guys LOVE her and ergo the character as well - I know it obviously pains you, but many men find that kind of fragility incredibly alluring. Plus Anna is not so fragile - her actions belie her appearance. I find it totally logical and realistic that our K2 would be fascinated by her. This opinion of course is bolstered by how my two friends (male) who are major Yoona fans are reacting to that loveline...ie the same way K2 is...
Best scene: Dog training Worst scenes (tie): Daytime flashbulb fainting & rooftop crying. I'm also adding…
I understand your wish for logic. However, SUCH a stock situation in this kind of thriller! This guy is supposed to be another fantastic fighter & he's wanting to show that he can take on this new guy in order to bolster his rep. Pretty much de rigueur for this genre....
Well, even JCW & SYA can't save this drama from the badly written characters & plot. It's already…
Sweetheart, I simply asked what badly written characters & plot you referred to, & pointed out that the storyline & writing is pretty standard for this genre. I also qualified that if anyone (not specified) doesn't like the genre then this is not the show to watch.
Now how THAT justifies YOUR little rant above, I totally fail to see. Far as I'm concerned, you hate it that people actually disagree with you and like this drama. Sad for you, I realize.

Have you MET any Yoona fans? LOL I get it that some people don't like the pairing, don't like the romance, don't like Yoona. However, obviously lots of people do like it.
Okay, so its kinda getting ridiculous how they attempt to kill some of the (mayor) characters in almost every…
Totally de rigueur in this kind of action thriller. It's not meant to be terribly realistic nor logical. I know lots of people get turned off by that which is fine.
Dropped like a hot potato; nothing but a bombastic pile of sh*t. But what should you expect else from the trashy…
Wow - what an unsubstantiated hateful comment! I mean, Yong Pal did have 4 bad episodes (13 - 16) but still worth watching (at least thru episode 12). This is great so far.
Not gonna lie, I was expecting him to die because of what happened historically. I created this whole ending in…
Totally agree - I expected Yoon Sung to somehow end up as Crown Prince & our puppies' off somewhere. I really kind of look at this as our puppy prince's fantasy as he lays dying of poisoning, tho. Cause he NEVER was crowned king in real life - he died at age 20. Of course he & his crown princess (NOT Ra On) had a son who was about 3 when he died...
Oh, & his Crown Princess did NOT leave - she was regent for her son for years (until HE died at age 21) and that's how the Andong Kims came to power :(
I like to think this is alternate history where an enlightenment occurred in Korea in the 1800s due to our Prince not dying young....I do like alternate history LOL
Well, even JCW & SYA can't save this drama from the badly written characters & plot. It's already…
Oh, my goodness. I'm not asking YOU to turn off anything. I explained that's what I do. My argument not valid? How silly you are. I simply thought you said you didn't like the genre - and if I got that wrong my comment isn't for you.
Again you did NOT explain why you dislike this show in a coherent, convincing matter - ie in a way that would make me rethink my own attitude towards the show. I find some of your conclusions incomprehensible - others I understand but they don't get in the way of MY interest or enjoyment (as I explained earlier). You are the one who seems to want to tell others what to watch, honey. Myself, I just wish that those who don't like this show would drop it and go away.
Well, even JCW & SYA can't save this drama from the badly written characters & plot. It's already…
You see, I'm NOT demanding others like this show. I'm simply asking why those who don't like it have that opinion - I asked WHY you think its badly written and which characters aren't delineated well. That's a legitimate question.
I also suggested that those who don't like this genre simply don't watch it rather than expect the writers to change style - seems a good idea to save frustration. Now if that's not true for you (I did think it might be) then the comment wasn't pertinent to you.
Your tone is very defensive :D Sorry.
Well, even JCW & SYA can't save this drama from the badly written characters & plot. It's already…
I'd say you're calling me defensive because you feel somehow belittled or jarred by my disagreement, myself. Sorry. You on the other hand are in attack mode. I actually gave you how I watched this kind of thing. Just because YOU won't 'turn off your logic' the same way hardly justifies you demeaning me. That's what I do with this kind of thriller. Deal with it. Obviously you DON'T do this. Fine for you. Everybody has different ways of watching dramas, preferences for actors, etc etc.
As for your defensive little ploy that somehow I'm not allowing anyone to find a flaw? Nope, wrong again. I just want said flaw to be explained to me. IE why do you think the drama is flawed? Is it your own preferences? Is it actual bad writing? Do you hate one of the actors?
AND just because you yourself find the writing flawed does not mean everyone will. Often cheesy & trashy sell - a fact. I can and will use references to a creative work to give a critical opinion on it's quality and to explain my viewpoints, but still - there's total low-brow stuff that I love while I don't like all critically acclaimed works.
However, I can and do recognize the difference between a well-written character (even in a drama etc that I can't finish for whatever reason) and a flat, 1 dimensional one. In this drama, our villainess does not fit the description you gave of her. She's very layered and 4D.
If you dislike this drama, find it too illogical for you, that's your preference. I do NOT agree with your assessment, however.
May I just add, if you find plot holes perhaps you could share some (other than the equating flashing lights with a TV screen - there are people who can watch digital TV but can't do the lights). I may agree with some because I'm really not looking for them, I'm accepting the logic of the moment as I watch. But just saying 'I can't deal w/the plot holes' while not listing any doesn't exactly make a convincing argument.
Well, even JCW & SYA can't save this drama from the badly written characters & plot. It's already…
Oh really, honey! Now I'm defensive because I do not agree with you? LOL LOL I simply don't see what you are talking about. I also don't understand people who keep coming back and back to diss a drama they don't like. I don't quite get your standards of writing either. I find that these kinds of political action thrillers usually do NOT survive a logical, unemotional examination of the plotline. I loved the TV show Mission Impossible back in the day, still like to rewatch episodes. But I once sat down w/some SEALs (I was in the Navy, their Yeoman) who proceeded to examine the plausibility of that show :( Totally ruined that particular episode LOL So I just go with the flow on these things. Only when the logic is so off the wall or when I simply can't unsee a plot hole do those things bother me. I guess for you that's happened already, but not for me.
Now how THAT justifies YOUR little rant above, I totally fail to see. Far as I'm concerned, you hate it that people actually disagree with you and like this drama. Sad for you, I realize.
