Title The K2
Well, even JCW & SYA can't save this drama from the badly written characters & plot. It's already…
WHAT badly written characters? Haven't seen any yet! This is standard political/action thriller w/a sweet romance thrown in between two rather damaged characters. The main evil female is written amazingly well - very nuanced and complex - she's great!
If you don't like the genre don't WATCH it!

Why would I be offended? You seem a bit upset cause I disagree with you tho. I really don't understand your reasoning however.

We're all having a second female lead syndrome on female lead's evil stepmother, aren't we? That's…
Uh, no. I like the actress, she's rocking this role, but she's evil incarnate no matter her sad story. Our lead boy needs to stay FAR away from that poison.

About to drop this. A) the plot just feels forced somehow and B) I really like the lead actor, but here he just…
Obviously you missed Healer... Ji Chang Wook totally rocks this. He's not soft LOL Just cause he's gorgeous? Oh, honey. I'm retired Navy - I saw some SEALs - like REAL LIFE hard core military bad-ass types - that were just drop dead amazingly beautiful to boot. Nope, totally buying KCW as the K2. You know who I DIDN'T buy as a hard-core warrior type? Song Joong Ki in DOTS. Now I could forget that because he's such a good actor, and IF I had the same idea about JCW looking this part I also could forget it cause JCW is a damn fine actor also. But he DOES look right for this part! Did you not get the point that the evil stepmom is falling for him cause he looks so fine? As for her, that character is written extremely well - she is far from the usual drama witch This is a political action thriller, done as well as any I've seen from any country. If you don't like the genre, fine. But the writers, director, producers, actors all know their craft and so far so good.
I'm waiting to see how the story develops because these particular writers have gummed up a perfectly good drama before (Yong Pal, starting w/the 13th episode). But it's wayyy too early to foresee how that will go. Meanwhile I'll just enjoy the wonderful action scenes - & JCW :d

Title The K2 Spoiler
So yoo jin is the main wife, right? So i can understand her for killing an na's mother. She is so poor. I…
And yet she DID order the death of SEVERAL people, a few of them totally innocent bystanders, just in the episodes we've seen! I too was cheering her on in the scene against her evil family there, but OMG did you catch her telling her henchmen how to get the kids of some political enemy of hers to KILL themselves? OMG she's just ruthless, murderous, sociopathic. Really!!! It doesn't matter that she's got reasons for revenge. So do a lot of terrorists. Doesn't ever justify killing innocents.
She IS an excellent frenemy for our boy to hook up w/to go after the evil character who killed his fiance, tho.

Big dilemma here. Should I drop this show or put it in a hold? Watched 6 episodes and the only thing I like is…
Really? I mean, I'm sorry, but just watching KCW in all the action scenes (that SHOWER scene!) is reason enough to watch. As for nasty lady, she's a GREAT actress, really interesting character, but a NASTY piece of work!

i kinda want to watch this show is the romance interesting ?
The two guys in our KDrama group are just so totally digging Yoona in this role - they say they totally are right there w/JCW. So nope, I guess not so fake. Guys DO react this way to Yoona.

Let's go back to her telling our boy that she's ordered the death of that old couple & anyone else that came in contact w/him? That enough for you? I'm not basing my assessment of her character on whether she killed Anna's mother or not. Plus her treatment of 9 year old Anna :(
I SAID she was an interesting character. That rather implies that she's NOT a shallow caricature.
Je Ha & Anna are very suited. HS crush - yeah, right. Lots more potential THERE than Yoo Jin crushing on K2 there.

WHY? Oh, I don't know, male protective instinct on seeing a girl, obviously hurt and fragile, yet fighting against lots of odds - it's already been very well established that Je Ha is very big on protecting innocents.

Yoojin is a very evil person - I don't care what made her that way, really. I mean, she's a very INTERESTING character, but no WAY do I want her to get her way with Je Ha, sorry! He's all about protecting people - and boy she sure is NOT. He fits w/Anna so much better.

I so agree - I thought this woman was portrayed as evil in Smile or Go Crazy - OMG Honey Lee's portrayal was all sweetness & light compared to THIS one!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Its following the actual history. Wang Yo becomes the 3rd ruler! Gosh, now we just have to…
In HISTORY, 4th prince helps his older brother get the throne - then takes it when brother dies. Each of Taejo's wives' families backed their OWN batch of princely siblings, so there were internecine wars & plots which is why each king killed off some siblings & their families. By the time Gwangjong came to power, after seeing all this, he basically finished off most of the remaining threats to his power. Oh & he married that horrible sister. Also did indeed marry his niece.
In this I see that the writers are going to put all the bloodshed squarely on eyeliner prince, Wook and Wook's evil murdering sister. :( But I do see now the shape of the thing!

nooo im crying rn i wanted a "happy ending"
You just WANT to fight, don't you? The only zombie films I can think of that DON'T have depressing endings are the funny ones (oh, except WWZ, which I guess is 'happy' because the BOOK was supposed to be an account of how humanity won that war - but that film screwed the book over SO bad that it hurt my stomach)

???? Calm down? That's a weird thing to say. I capitalize to emphasize, BTW. Sort of the same as underlining but easier...
I don't agree with you - it's got some underlying humanity lacking in most serious zombie films that I've sat thru (my DAUGHTER is the big zombie fan BTW)

I did mention that I didn't include the funny ones. BTW this was LOADS better than World War Z OMG that mess of a film! The book was excellent but the movie totally sucked! This one had real 3-dimensional characters - even that disgusting businessman I wanted to destroy thruout had more than one dimension! About the only serious zombie film I've seen actually better than this one was The Night of the Living Dead.
Now, I did indeed like Warm Bodies, cheesy tho it was, and I loved Shawn of the Dead and Fido...
