Didn't like this drama it's more an idol drama then a real action drama many people only watch it for…
He's NOT AN IDOL. Period. Now, Yoona is one so if that's who you meant then fine except this is not what is meant in the industry by 'idol drama'. There is such a thing as being wrong, you know - and misusing terminology. It's not a matter of opinion.
I understand that you don't like this drama - fine.

Piffle. For one thing, dear, Ji Chang Wook is NOT an 'idol' actor - he's the real deal, and delivers every time. He's wonderful in this, and I'm certainly not just talking visually! There are a lot of beautiful Korean stars out there, but there aren't very many who could realistically pull off these stunts, let alone the nuances of his role. I don't know why you're all ticked off - maybe you don't like this genre? but lots of us DO like this kind of drama. The action, the excellent female villain OMG, JCW, fantastic action scenes, that adorable romance going on that some of us love - this is the attraction. You really are wayyyy off base here - at least with the male lead. As for Yoona, I think she's doing really great here - she's portraying Anna exactly as the drama calls for her to do it. I'm not a huge fan of Yoona as an actress - she's been ok in the couple of things I've seen her in but nothing spectacular. Her role here is not all that demanding either, but she's doing a very good job of it nonetheless.
RhopalocerA - What makes you think I HAVEN'T watched TWD? I READ the graphic novel, in fact. It is pretty good, but still the apocalyptic, depressing world-view is there and I had to stop watching. I really don't like zombie films at all unless they are comedies (Shaun of the Dead, Fido - YEAH!) I was horrified at how the novel WWZ was bastardized in the film BTW. THIS film however managed to take some basic characters (so-called 'stock characters' cause you know, humanity having similarities), humanize them with rather deft touches and create a moving and tense little film. I haven't seen a serious zombie horror film that moved me as much since Night of the Living Dead. So no, I certainly do not agree with your assessment.
Well, the reason I don't usually like zombie films or shows is because the serious ones are apocalyptic - they have a very depressing, annihilation of everything kind of world-view. Even when some few escape to a safe place, you just KNOW that sooner or later these unstoppable creatures will end up destroying that as well. So when I'm persuaded to watch a zombie film I don't expect any happy endings, and that way don't get disappointed.
but i hated the scene when he started to recall his daughter birth. i think it wasn't necessary and atmosphere…
OMG that was a very important scene - it made you realize what was happening to ALL the OTHER people as they turned into zombies, which totally humanized the whole process, underlining that they in fact were losing their humanity! Sorry, but a great great scene.
Finished this - I did enjoy it but really, our heroine finishes as shallow and self-centered as when she started. Of course she's a PERFECT match for our (mostly) selfish, wants-to-be a perfectionist trash professor so that's fine. I do like both those actors :D
I really watched this for the rest of the cast, and that's well worth a watch. Very fun and heartfelt indeed - I'm not disappointed :D
I can't believe they pulled amnesia again. The ridiculousness of whenever you hit your head you have amnesia…
Actually they are doing the amnesia correctly - he's got this temporary amnesia that came partly from physical trauma & partly from emotional trauma - it doesn't just go away. It can reoccur. For real. Amnesia as a plot device comes when needed & then just goes away as if nothing had happened which really is much more unrealistic.
I am very disappointed in this drama, after watching episode 10 i am now fully convinced that everyone who works…
You know, sweetie, it is always dangerous to tell me why I'm doing something. You are totally off on this analysis. My entire point is that this genre normally doesn't bear deep scrutiny as far as realistic action and situations go. I'd enjoy this drama no matter who the lead was - as long as said lead fit the character (great looks, believable as a kick-a$$ fighter, a good actor...). So you are very wrong about me, dear.
I find you and others who are really hating on this drama for being unrealistic, illogical, etc completely miss the point of such action dramas. So of course you are disappointed. I suggest that you avoid such dramas in the future because they are almost all full of such cliches.
I do agree - these security guards are almost as ineffectual as red shirts and storm troopers... hardly makes this drama unwatchable anymore than the above mentioned kept me from Star Trek or Star Wars...
This drama tries soooooooo hard to be sooooo mysterious and cool and romantic and full of action, that it screams…
OMG what in the world do you want? It's like a BOND film - for heaven's sake! Some of the ridiculous hate-filled comments from people LOL Realism? Are you even aware of the standard tropes in this genre? Good grief. Just shut your mind down & watch JCW being hot.

Gag to your whole comment. I'm enjoying the whole thing - of course I'm NOT taking it very seriously. It's totally Bond/Bourne stuff which really doesn't bear much scrutiny. I'm all about JCW & the adorable little romance w/Yoona, who is doing a great job as a Bond girl LOL - and our female villain w/her henchwoman is such a GREAT villainess - very 3 dimensional! As for that evilness that killed our hero's girl - just DIE already I say :d Love this genre and oh BOY am I loving watching JCW navigate thru this labyrinth of a plot!
Everyone on here be defending and wanking Yoo Jin.........she is a psychopath and a murderer. The actress is doing…
Oh, honey - JI CHANG WOOK is the best thing this show has going for it. Now, I do love the actress playing Yoo Jin, and that character is much more nuanced & layered than the normal evil female villainess, but still, JCW is the reason I'm watching - & he's not disappointing at ALL
