Hachi’s childish behavior was the reason I didn't enjoy the drama much too. At times it was frustrating to watch.…
I don’t know if there will be a second season but they sure left it open for one. Guess we’ll see if Amazon thinks it’s cost effective. If they do I hope Hachi grows up.

Good review but another one of those I don't think I have the stomach for.
Thank you. 😊

I was looking for something lighter, like one town helping another out because they knew what it was like to lose everything. Then to see the friendships forged as they bonded. Or even to see if the broken couple found their way back to each other after nearly 20 years. This was not that film 😔

Review No Gain, No Love Spoiler
I am tired of awful parents too, but I can handle it if it's significant for the plot etc. But here everyone was…
I think that’s part of it. So often the abusive parents are often just accepted as the way it is. Or behavior that is abusive is not seen that way.

Review No Gain, No Love Spoiler
Been waiting for this to finish, but was concerned with some of the posts I've seen. Thanks for your review. Getting really tired of awful parents.

Review An Autumn’s Tale Spoiler
I really enjoyed his carefree performance. Brace yourself for 1980’s NYC and styles 😄
It was a little rough around the edges like a lot of 80’s films but had a good heart. Tyvm 🦋💕🌸

Chow Yun Fatt in my favorite city in the world??? I never watched this one but for that alone it sounds worthwhile!

What a great list and theme for the month (or two)! Several of these I didn’t realize had female directors,…
When I’m not writing reviews I don’t always check out the director so I had some surprises going back through the movies I’d watched. There are a few women directors who have numerous credits but when doing my research many only have one or two. And many of the ones I looked up I couldn’t find their work available anywhere. 😔

My mom always called me the Princess and the Pea because of my sensitive skin. But she said the story didn’t work when I used to clear the scorers’ table off going for a loose basketball during games. 😄

Love it! Super witty!
Thank you. I had other thoughts planned out as I was watching but when I started typing something different entirely came out. 😂

I don’t understand dramas that have filler but don’t provide pertinent details about characters.

this movie is not taiwanese lol its bhutanese
It’s a co-production and since currently Bhutan is not one of the countries MDL carries and Taiwan was one of the countries of origin it was listed.
