According to their new post, they're suppose to release uncut episodes for inter fans on their official YT channel…
So it seems the release on YT will be delayed by one week compared to those on other platforms. And episodes from 4 onward are still undecided.
Thanks for the info.
P/S: You double posted.

I'm not sure how "explicit" the show is. Only one episode was out.The actor's age of 16 is real. The misinformation…
"Hmm...age of consent is usually to protect people of the same age engaging in sexual acts with each other, not people who are significantly older." - This is a misinformation. People above age of consent can engage in sexual acts together, whether it's between 16 and 18 or 16 and 61. While a 18 year-old is closer in age to 16 year-old in appearance, by laws the 18 year-old is an adult the same as a 61 year-old - there is no different between them according to the laws.

According to what you said, it seems you know of the source material, then you should have known that it contains many problems, not just that one thing you mentioned - actually, it's the least problematic of them. So it's not likely they would dare to apply the source material scene by scene here in this series.
Things haven't been showed, nothing can be sure, conclusion shouldn't be made.

But never mind, it seems you have already had your own conclusion.

Wow. Thanks for mention that. Now I know why sometimes I can't see the posts replied to me even thought there are notifications (not from this "Cosmic lady" you mentioned though).
Reply to me but block so I can't see their posts, it's truly amusing.

"Is it actually true that this series is unavailable in some countries because of legal issues ?" - You mentioned a global range of countries so of course it's true in some case, such as Chinese outlawing homo-content so this series cannot be aired there, or the western Asia countries where sexual behaviors are restricted to be only between married couples regardless of age.
My country allowed Love Sick and Make It Right to be aired before, both of which have 16 year-old actors, so age isn't be an issue in my country. Still, there haven't been official release here. So I suspect it's due to the producers haven't making an international release.

Hi, can someone please tell me, how is this series? Thank you!
Personally, it's not "wow" quality or would be my favorites. However, it's just one episode out, so it's still too soon to say. Still, it's an enjoyable watch.
I find the start to be... fill with second-hand embarrassment. It gets better after that, though. The acting of Hero is natural, comfortable. The acting of Poppy is still stiff at some points. The characteristics of Hero and Poppy were changed a bit compared to the old Chinese adaption. The scenery and color are beautiful. The sound effect.... is from the 90s: Hero flapping his shirt collar at the heat makes the sound like they're fanning a stove (:V)
Compares to other Thai BL out there, I think it is upper-average in quality.

I'm afraid there is no "mental agony to the actors" here, as there are only show audience on this site. It's not…
If you scroll down to many posts below, you can find out that I was quite active in correcting their falsely accusation on the show makers. However, I find out that you can't talk reason with them, as attention and causing discord are what they're after; otherwise, they won't create posts after posts like they did (@Swifferera already initiated 6 threads in span of a day and @BigToe69 already initiated 4). So I think these posts you made will not help the case here, and only help them as it would create opportunities for them to spam some more.
My opinion in this is: ignore them. And if they continue to spam on their own, then you will have proof that they're spamming and harassing, so you can report. No need to waste time and effort on them.
Put your mind on something else instead, such as enjoying this show, or anticipating Ossan's Love Thai version or the remake of Love Sick in 2024? (trailers are already out).

Regarding the actors, I believe that in places that truly matter, the actors' managers and show makers can report the defamation or even pursue legal action if needed.

I'm not gonna hop into the debates, but I just wanted clarification on something: the director and the production…
I'm not sure how "explicit" the show is. Only one episode was out.
The actor's age of 16 is real.
The misinformation is that this is illegal. It's legal and approved by laws, as the age of consent (for sexual activities) is 15 in Thai - the country this show was made.
Other than that, when checking age of consent of countries around the world, it's mostly the western states of US, south and western Asia and most of Africa that have age of consent above 16. The countries that have age of consent in range of 14-16 are eastern states of US, North and South Americas, Europe, north and east Asia, most countries of south-east Asia, Australia. So this show is legal in a big part of the world, too.
You should consult the laws of your own country first.

There are talk about the show. However, there are some moral crusaders spamming this comment section with repeated posts spreading misinformation regarding the legality of this show. The talk about show was lost in between.

Title Addicted Heroin Spoiler
So, my impression on the first episode (lots of spoilers ahead):
The first impression is: second-hand embarrassment.
The series started with a scene at the start of the second book of the original material, where the two main characters meet again after around a decade separated. The scene is... cringy. After that, there's a scene with Hero at a military entrance test: over the top and, again, cringy. Then, the scene where Hero attempted to ruin his father's wedding but was jeopardized by Poppy attempting to do the same, the fighting scene between Hero and Poppy is clunky and awkward. *face-palm*
Things was better after that, though. Hero's resting bitch face and his father's thug-like power-holding-man attitude really show the wedge between them.
The rest of the episode is just Hero getting to know Poppy, and pull cruel pranks on him. The series gave us a reason for Hero to pick on Poppy: Poppy mocked and embarrassed Hero on the same thing his father did and caused Hero to be reminded of his blasted step-brother (ouch! :D ).
On the two characters, Hero came of as aloof and shameless, which is quite like Gu Hai of the Chinese adaption. He shamelessly boasted to his aunt, pestered her for his agenda, pranked Poppy cruelly and admitted it to Poppy's face. Really, with his shameless, bold face when he did that last thing, I wanna smash a book in his face and throttle him.... Though, with his oh-so-handsome face, maybe Poppy's choice of reaction was more preferable.
Poppy, on the other hand, lacks the fierce of a-nail-for-a-nail of Bai Lou Yin. He's quite mellow, though not without fire. He fought back some, just with the attitude of a kid who was used to the ridicule and bullying for not having a mother. At least, that's how I feel. And gah, Poppy's father is crappy, it's no wonder his wife abandoned him.
The actor of Hero is quite comfortable and natural in his role. It's not a surprise since he has experience. The actor of Poppy is a little stiff and unnatural, like in the opening when he stood there like he doesn't know what to do or when he reacted to Hero's confession - those are a little off. He has quite a list of past works for himself despite still being young, but I guess his experience for big roles is still limited.
The scenery and color is beautiful.
As a whole, the first episode is okay, not bad. Compared to other Thai BL series out there, this is upper-average.
Though, despite the scene showed at the beginning, I think it would also be the end scene of this series, or this season, and we won't see 2nd book content anytime soon. Otherwise, if they try to cram both books into 10 episodes, then things would be rushed and this would be a mess.

You said Thai BL need to follow OTHER countries' laws: "However this is a show that is pushed to other countries. Are you blind?" - you wrote this.
To Thai, Chinese belongs to the category of "other", and that is an example of how ridiculous you are. If you can demand Thai series to abide by laws of your country, then Chinese can demand the same, and Qatar - a country outlaws homosexual acts - can demand the same.
If your country laws doesn't allow the things happen with this Thai series, then it won't be aired in your country, so there is no need for it to follow your laws either.
Though, I see no point to continue this, so I will stop here and this will be my last reply to you on this thread.

My opinion in this is that points have been made many times already, backed with reasoning and facts, and laws. We shouldn't dragging this matter out anymore.
If the series makers are wrong and violate the laws, they will be handled by the local government. If it's legal and allowed to be aired, then just enjoy the show.
Those who want to antagonize about the age, let them be. Let their post be moved down and forgotten. If they create too many threads to antagonize over and over, which would be spam, then there's a reason to report. I'm not sure whether MDL would deal with it. But replying to them would only lengthen their threads and bring more attention to them, those attention seekers.
The series has been airing. Talk about the content and quality of the series instead?

And China ban homosexual content so Thai cannot make BL series, too?

The series was made, first and foremost, in Thai, for Thai.
In others countries it was pushed to, like mine, age of consent would is 16 so it's still legal, by laws, not by just my mouth.
If your country don't approve it then it won't be aired in your country, simple as that.
You treat as if a Thai series must abide by very laws from every countries in this Earth.

And you have showed your true color, implying audience supporting this series as pedos. So much for voicing concerns, more like personal attacking.
