I respect not giving your characters convenient resolutions for the sake of a "happy ending". I was gonna rate it 9/10 since I enjoyed this drama so much, but then it hit me - there's nothing I would change about - absolutely nothing. 10/10. The best drama I've watched this year.
I can't say I enjoy 2020 YTY as a character, but I kinda get her. Judging by the timeline, she wasn't supposed…
Huh, I guess that's exactly why I enjoy her more than others. I'm tired of "perfect" leads and gravitate more to those who actually mess up and feel more realistic. But that's just me :)

I feel like it's one of those "for horror/slasher movie to progress, the characters must make stupid choices" type of thing. But I've also noticed how people can be incredibly smart in one aspect and complete idiots in another at the same time. Seems like it's in our nature.

Well, she was a damsel in distress since people literally tried to kill her on multiple occasions. Not every female character should be able to kick ass, so to say. I know I'd crawl in the corner and hope for the best xD
Also being good at something (physics) has nothing to do with emotional maturity. From what we've seen of her character, seems like she always burring her nose in a book and basically had a dissonance from human relationships. So it's also understandable why she feels so connected to a person who constantly helps her, to the point of saving her life. She's probably not used to it.
Again, I'm not a fan of her character, but she's pretty damn consistent and true to who she is.
I dislike this 2020 YTY version more & more by each episodes in, most of screen time were wasted to serve her…
I can't say I enjoy 2020 YTY as a character, but I kinda get her. Judging by the timeline, she wasn't supposed to create time travel for quite some time, so the got pulled into all that mess way to easy and will all those attempts on her life... how is a uni professor supposed to cope? It's not like she was trained for anything like that. And I also understand her being hurt by the realisation. It's one thing to know you look similar to someone all, but being an exact replica/doppelganger? That's another thing entirely.
You do realise it's just a role, right? It always pains me to see when an actor gets hate for a character they're…
only that's a name of a character from another drama, so... it kinda feels like projecting. But that just the feeling I got, I'm not implying it was your intentions.
I feel like eps 11-12 pulled Oprah, but instead of cars everyone gets a doppelganger xD
But my main question is, what is the point of all those people form different dimensions to come into current one to change it? They basically confirmed that what happens in one has no affect on others, so what's the point then??
I was hoping for the same, don't lose hope, KDY really deserves to be with PJG
He could be. He did say he found adult movies boring. And if he had sexual attraction, his body would probably react in a way. Not sure it it was an intensional choice, I've never seen an asexual character in drama.

But what about PJG? He clearly said he's not interested in a relationship since he doesn't understand how attraction works (due to alexithymia). Doesn't he deserve to be respected and not forced into a one? Just a thought.
I feel like this drama had potential. A very promoting plot but it failed to deliver. I'm on ep 5 and it feels…
I definitely agree about the plot dragging a lot. Sometimes it feels like nothing is happening and we have a filler scene after a filler scene. Someone speculated that it could be due to COVID restrictions and I kinda feel like it might be the case since A LOT of scenes shot at the same few locations. I still feel like they could've done a better job with what they got, but maybe the writer had this big ideas and then the reality cut their wings, who knows. I'm just glad I can still enjoy the acting. And I'm especially happy for Joo Won since it's his first projects after military service and he shines here.
Why y’all hating on this drama??? It’s really good, haven’t seen a drama this good in a really long time,…
I've noticed two trends in comments 1) people are confused (and annoyed) by the exploration of time travel, or rather lack thereof 2) there's this weird dynamic where most see two characters of the opposite sex in a scene together and automatically assume there's a romance (i get it, it's k-drama, they sell romance as hotcakes) and since those characters are kinda related... well, people don't like that
I definitely agree with the first point, but as you said, his one really keeps me interested. I tend to lose interest in a lot of dramas at a halfway point and by eps 10 I can drop a drama with ease, but this one still intrigues me.
