I just started watching and I’m sorry but does no one realize the uncanny similarities between this kdrama and…
The thing is, Dark popularised a lot of time travel aspects, but it didn't invent them. All the scientific theories were already there - composed by actual scientists, not screenwriters. Radiation and its effects are still being studied and there're a lot of theories around it as well. As for the book with the last missing page? That trope is as old as time. So I get the comprising, but we have to remember that there are no original stories left. Absolutely everything is inspired by (or just simply similar to) something else.
Each ep this drama impresses me more and more. It doesn't take easy routs just for the sake of convenience. It doesn't try to make everyone's happy and actually makes characters (and viewers) go through it. The fact that pretty much all fan theories aren't likely to come true makes it intriguing and yet everything that happens makes sense and not just there for the shock value. The way the plot is to build leading to revel is really good! You kinda get this feeling and start to suspect what's going on and when it comes true it's this satisfying feeling of finishing a puzzle. If the finale eps will have the same energy, this might be my second 9/10 this year! (third, if we count 1st season of Kindom) So exciting!
Yeah, that scene was so unnecessary & exaggerated just for the sake of them being dramatic.
Unfortunately, it is. We, as humans, are way to comfortable with destruction. We came from religious wars to bullying people online. Our ways have changed, but most of us are still eager to step on other to prove our worth. That's human nature.

I'd have to disagree. It was exaggerated time-wise for the sake of plot, sure, but that's a pretty accurate depiction of how fast a public opinions shifts. As well as the fact of how we still treat women as "housewife material only".
I love male lead character, Hong Dae Young both in past and present. I kinda relate so much to the decisions he…
I don't think we can judge their whole life since it wasn't shown to us. From what I've seen it seems like their problems started in the last 5-6 years and I feel like the root of everything tiredness. Dae Young put his all in a company in hopes for recognition and promotion with little to no payoff (and we saw how the clients treated him, that has to have an impact) and Da Jung was constantly denied her dream and nit for the lash of talent and hard work, but simply because she's older and a mother. Plus their kids are teenagers and at that age, most of us isolate our parent because we're so convinced we're already mature enough t deal with everything on our own and we even get embarrassed or ashamed of our parents (being a teen sucks, don't miss it xD).
I don't know about others but if I found out a person who was nothing but good to me (and even saved my life on multiple occasions), had died - I'd wail as well. Especially if I just saw him being alive and well and then got hit with the news. As for the picture, people still take selfies together, right? It's not exclusively for couples. I do however think placing it everywhere instead of a photo with his mom was purely for convenience sake (not TY not to see the resemblance AND have a deja vu).
If the characters were to have a sexual relationship, then yes, logically it would be incest. But only if it was confirmed that the multiple universes are a thing and work by the rules of "it's the same but with different futures" or there's just one universe. And since in a fantastical concept overall, the writers are technically free no interpret in however they like. We can like it or hate it, but tbh we can't say what can and can't be done - it's not a realistic concept.
Seems like it. Which suggest that there're no fixed points in the timeline and I honestly don't get it.
Idk why everyone keeps saying this...but the two leads DO NOT HAVE A ROMANCE. At this point its so annoying that…
I have the exact same opinion. But I always try understand other perspective, so I kinda get how people can see two characters in a scene together and automatically assume it's a romance - let's face it, 95% of dramas are romance heavy, so you kinda get used to it.
honestly as a cop looking for his mom, all he has to do is a DNA test on the person who not only looks like his…
Jin Gyum having alexithymia actually helps him in this situation. He doesn't have to be disturbed, he just simply doesn't understand what's going on xD Good for him
This is exactly my problem from the beginning, I keep saying that the fact that the functioning of the time travel…
Hah, I had the same struggles with Dark tbh. I didn't care about most of the characters so I also didn't care what was happening to them, but man, did I wanted to understand the full picture! Thankfully there it paid off big time, but here... I don't have high hopes.

I feel like at this point I should just give up and making sense of everything. I actually do enjoy aspects of this drama that aren't tied to the sci-fi (ML's relationship with his adoptive father, the conflict with his biological one), but once the whole time travel happens and each time it seems like there're new rules (or rather no rules at all) - I'm just confused because things seems to contradict themselves and it takes me out of the story.
Dark is just way, way, way too good. It's excellent in every way. The casting is insane. There was no wasted scene,…
Unfortunately, I have the same feeling about most dramas. It's like the writers are like "I have this idea, let's try to sell and only then think about what'll happen next". As far as I understand, that's exactly how most TV shows work. That why I always prefer a product that shoot in advance.
I blame Dark for my high standards. Instead of just going along with the story and watching how it develops, I nitpick on every little detail because I NEED to understand how time travel works in this one. Why would I do this to myself... and in SBS drama of all things =_=
