YCX has just too much personality that its scary. Like I am scared of him, with the bgm, and CL has deliberately dubbed this portion in a deep voice. That's not true. No one has seen the drama's future episodes. Its possible you feel that ML has done something so bad, or will do something so bad, like forced kiss, caging her, that he is beyond redemption. And I agree to you, looking beyond that, only a reincarnation can save him.
But her memory loss and his redemption are two different things, they are not connected. She will also get back her memory, and his redemption arc begins way before her memory loss. Their relationship based on lies, is only for the time she doesn't remember him, that's one subplot. ML is brat, he has not even gone to a real war, pain, humanity is all missing in him. Going to a war would be a big change for him as well. These things are part of the script, and I am hoping they show us things properly, because some of the Reuters I saw, were heartbreaking.

You are absolutely correct. The situation is pathetic. ML is an arrogant ass, and a scumbag. Nothing can humanize or defend his behaviour. And the drama is very messy. As you and all of us, are watching it, and we have seen trailers, it will go worse for her soon. Its really horrible, and its actually criminal if we think of reality.
But its fiction at the end of the day. Because the leads are good looking, and we know they are acting, we are enjoying it. But that doesn't mean everyone has to. Its toxic, and its possible people feel uncomfortable about it.
But I am someone who loves the actors, I like how in these 10 episodes the drama has shaped up. But that doesn't make any of us blind to any abuse ML will be subjecting the FL too. Only the people who can look beyond it, or have the capacity to think that okay because its set in 1919, and its FICTION, maybe we can enjoy it, and look forward to a character redemption of ML whenever it is, can enjoy the drama.

My point too. In no way I am defending ML though, that's why I called him a scumbag, he clearly pursuing FL against her wishes. But SFL is so trash, plus knowing the circumstances she and ML got together, there is no love, I bet, even for SFL, ML is just a tool for her luxury, status, some one of her equal or higher standing.
