Yes. MoLi I read few months back, but I got tired, It has 400+ chapter, I remember reading till 300+. It was not boring, I was just too tired hahaha! I don't even remember what I read. So this is a plus point. I will see MoLi without remembering the novel, I will enjoy it better.

I also think its my bias speaking. I read the novel of this and absolutely loved it. So I had my own version for it. So when things divert in the drama, while I do understand the duration problem, but other than that, when it doesn't align to my set preferences, it upsets me a little.
For prisoner of beauty, I never read the novel, I had no knowledge, and I loved it. This happened with LOTFG as well, while I now hear people hate it due to many missing scenes of FL's valour, and call it romance of female general (haha), I had no idea about them, that was my first FL general story, and I absolutely loved it.

The court I did not mind actually. The court is always in chaos, no one respects the emperor, everyone says trash. FL might not know court etiquette but I did not feel she disrespected the emperor, she talked back to the ministers, who totally deserved it, yes but that wasn't the etiquette. But again she is a simple village butcher. If she would come and suddenly be reserved or know everything, that would be very different to her character, so I don't mind that angle.

He was a puppet in the novel as well, but he had his own goals, they just made him a clown here.
I can consider the FL, she does not know court etiquette as such, but I felt the politics portion, the emperor his behaviour, the continuous fights between Wei and Li, everything in a funnier way, which I feel for palace politics is not required.

I did not watch those dramas. But I had no problem with Julia in Wanted Detective. She was nice. But there wasn't much chemistry with Xingyue. But that isn't a big deal, cause it wasn't a romance based drama. Plus we knew they were in love always, no such falling in love was shown because they were childhood sweethearts. It was more of mutual support, so its okayy.

Exactly. Also when everyone though DK was against them, but ML was the only one who thought he was helping them. They were such bestie-turned foes-turned bestie coded. Or maybe they were never foes. They were the best part of the drama, FL had no chemistry with ML at all.

They have, or what I would like to say is that the actors have a strong chemistry, because what the characters are just abuser and victim, surrounded by toxic love. But yes they are very engaging and addictive. You still have a lot lot to see of them, so enjoy!
