Okay anyone who liked Cheng Lei in this role, I just wanted to recommend "Footprints of Change". It was another Republican drama he did, which released in 2025. That drama had 3 arcs. Cheng Lei and Jelly Lin were part of the first arc, of around 11 episodes. Those episodes were brilliant, and unlike here he doesn't play a red flag, but is powerful. He and Jelly Lin also had fantastic chemistry. And yes they got a happy ending as well. So anyone interested can check that out :)

Every episode they have a dialogue that always sticks with me. In episode 11, it was " You are one of my men, naturally your girlfriend is also my....................................................military family" . Lol we know what you wanted to say YCX. SML's eyes were red. Oh my God, most of the dialogue exchange in this drama are so intense.
