Anyone can explain who is qi min and why he pretends to be SYH?
Crown Prince Chengde died 17 years back in Jinzhou Massacre. His consort feared that it was a conspiracy and even their young son Qi Min could be the next one to be killed. Prince Changxin's (someone related to the royal family) wife and son (same age as Qi Min) visited crown princess and her son. Crown Princess put her palace on fire, killing herself, and Prince Changxin's son Sui Yuanhuai. But before that she exchanged clothing of the children. Her son Qi Min's face was deliberately burnt so that people wouldn't recognize him. For the rest of the people, Qi Min was dead, Sui Yuanhuai was alive. Qi Min grew up in the Sui household as Sui Yuanhuai.
Though I am not as such disappointed by his character arc in the drama, I have to agree, the novel did him better,…
This is true. I wouldn't say I did not enjoy the funny scenes. But yes except few added FL and ML scenes in the Linan town arc, I think few other new scenes could have been replaced into adding other scenes from the novel.
QM would never have spared Changxin. He said Changxin and Wei Yan are responsible for the death of his father,…
If it was so, they would have already told this. I don't think so. But this part is different from the novel so can't confirm. But she said she pitied him, I don't think she poisoned him. He is weak due to skin grafting surgeries he did for his scar free face.
QM would never have spared Changxin. He said Changxin and Wei Yan are responsible for the death of his father,…
100%. How do we expect him to care for his adoptive mother, when he even wants to kill his innocent child. So I have full sympathy for Qi Min as a child, but those things lead him to become a monster and now he has no choice other than being accountable for his actions.
Let me say this with my whole chest β Xie Zheng's storyline has Epic Lead DNA and they have him playing emotional…
Though I am not as such disappointed by his character arc in the drama, I have to agree, the novel did him better, his character was a lot toned down in the drama. Especially the fact that he wanted revenge for his parent's misfortune, or Jinzhou massacre, or his trauma, was better portrayed in the novel. But the drama has to air 7 episodes more, so I don't know how they will do it, but till ep 33 if I consider, the novel did him better. Just not him, both were done better in the novel. Arcs like kidnapping of SYQ, or knocking out Li Huai An by FL, for which many people criticized her, were not there in the novel. But this has to do with the duration of the drama. 164+ chapters into 40 episodes is not an easy feat. Hence yes, some parts in the drama should have been done way better, but I am still not as such disappointed by the drama.
QM would never have spared Changxin. He said Changxin and Wei Yan are responsible for the death of his father,…
100%. I sympathize with Qi Min as a child. In the novel it was shown very differently actually. Prince Changxin consort, Sui Yuanhuai's mother had passed in the palace fire, and Prince Changxin got remarried, making SYQ and him step brothers. His step mother was really bad to him, and he killed her, so I considered it okay. In the drama they changed it, yes the adoptive might not have loved him for real, but she didn't hate him or punish him, she kept his identity forever without revealing to her husband because she sympathized with him. So I think him killing her is wrong.
Okay..really loved this drama up until episode 30 to 33β¦so messy so many cuts ..why Chinese drama always like…
He said he read the letter that He Jingyuan wrote for her, and hence knew Wei Qilin was her father. But this scene was never shown, or his reaction after knowing it. We don't even know how he got the letter in the first place, or was it before or after FL knew the truth, though.
QM might have spared the Sui couple if they showed him some love but it seems both didn't like him for different…
QM would never have spared Changxin. He said Changxin and Wei Yan are responsible for the death of his father, he considers Changxin his enemy. He should have spared his wife though, considering she knew that he was not her son, still did not disclose his identity and let him grow up in her house.
He's such a liar π he didn't wait at all! When they parted, Xie Zheng, slightly out of breath, said to her,…
I think they flirted a bit and he was supposed to take her as a concubine. Her character was same, Bandit ruler's sister. But she did not appear during the later chapters at all, unlike this one. Do you remember that scene in episode 18, when Shisan's brother told SYQ, that if he wanted to marry his sister he cannot take FL as a concubine (the scene when FL held a knife at his throat, and was trying to escape during Linan invasion, but bandits thought they were hugging). SYQ even said if you can have 4 wives, do you want me to be loyal only to your sister forever. That sequence was there in the novel, I remember reading that.

Hahaha. I imagined it too, so that I can be satisfied. I read it through mydramanovel website. They mentioned countless times that they had a grand wedding, in which people celebrated, Regent asked for a marriage decree from the emperor, after the wedding they did not leave the room for 7 days, etc etc, but they never wrote a scene about the marriage happening- Like ML and FL getting dressed, bowing, having rituals, no dialogue, nothing. It was said they had a grand marriage.
Just curious but has anyone else come to the realization that the same knives ChangYu uses to cook with are the…
The first time she used those knives in the battle was against General Shu Hu, the knives got destroyed and she killed him with his weapon. ML reused them and made them into two swords. The next time when she is in the battle, she used those swords, during battle against Changxin. So later when you see her cooking and using knives, they might be similar, but they aren't the same.

Yeah it seems. Shisan was there in the novel, I remember her, but it was a cameo thing. She shouldn't be in today's episode. Qi Min should have killed Sui Yuanqing and we should have moved on. Huhh, weird added scenes which are not required. Yes in the novel, it was done differently, in order to reduce the chapters into episode, they have found a simple way, so that's why they kept her I guess.

Considering even in the novel, they just said they had a grand marriage, it was not a scene written, with dialogues and explanation, I highly doubt they will show it to us.
Hahaha, I agree! Kong Xue'er is the second best partner of Deng Kai in terms of chemistry, Wang Xingyue still holds the first position.
Xie Army or Younzhou army.
