Nope she carries him without rope. She has carried him thrice by now in the drama. Nothing unusual for TXW though,…
I did not watch the one with Joseph Zeng. I will quickly go and check it out. Lol, great resume. Exactly everyone carries the female lead, but we have a female lead who can easily carry 190 cm male leads.
Okay without spoiling what is not shown till now-Previous Emperor and Prince Changxin (rebel king) were cousins…
He is the most interesting character in the novel. Weird only if he was normal, could have grown up receiving love, and was not insane despite his pathetic past, if only he saw Qian Qian as the light of his life, love her affectionately and not obsessively, loved his son and was a good person; the throne was his, he could have a good future, people would have supported him. Alas, he never really knew how to be normal.
I just saw BTS. So she was actually carrying him? All this time I thought he was tied to ropes!
Nope she carries him without rope. She has carried him thrice by now in the drama. Nothing unusual for TXW though, she has carried Xukai, and Wang Hedi while filming previous dramas as well. Girl is a pro in carrying male leads.
“I don’t want your throne… I want your life—and your son’s,” he said quietly in the dark 💀
These are scenes I love, I missed him plotting with that aura. Be a villain Qi Min show us what you have. A clever enemy is so required in such plots, their confrontations with leads are the things I look forward to.
I get the writers are being creative but unless all the swords have had first blood before its last fire - then…
I am not Chinese, but in my culture, hundreds of years back, there was a concept of the purification or activation of swords and weapons with blood. This is closely tied to the concepts of divine energy (Shakti) for the destruction of evil (Dharma). So maybe even Chinese had a concept like that in their history.
Can someone make it more clear to me about the identity of "Silver-haired antagonist" and to some extent…
Okay without spoiling what is not shown till now-
Previous Emperor and Prince Changxin (rebel king) were cousins or something, because Prince Changxin has the prince title, hence he needs to be part of the royal family. But he has Sui surname, he is Sui Tao, so maybe Prince Changxin's mother was a princess, because if his father was- then he would be surnamed Qi. But this is kind of what I assumed.
Previous emperor abdicated the throne 17 years back after the death of his son Crown Prince Chengde. Other Children of Previous emperor were Qi Shu/royal princess and Qi Sheng. He might also have other children that we don't know as of yet. Prime Minister Wei Yan supported Qi Sheng to be the puppet emperor. Prince Chengde, crown prince and ML's father General Xie died in a battle together. Prince Changxin's consort and their son Sui Yuanhuai visited Crown Princess in the eastern palace. Crown Princess feared the death of her son- Imperial Grandson Qi Min, after his father's death which she considered a conspiracy. So Crown Princess burnt her palace and Changxin's wife and son died with her. Crown Princess burnt her son Qi Min's face and sent him away with some subordinates and Nanny Lan. Due to burnt face, he was unrecognizable. It was presumed that Crown Princess, her son Qi Min , Prince Changxin's consort all died in the fire, the only survivor was Sui Yuanhuai. Qi Min grew up as Sui Yuanhuai in the Prince Changxin's household. Prince Changxin later got married again and had Sui Yuanqing whom he wants as his heir.
This makes current emperor Qi Sheng and Royal Princess Qi Shu, as uncle and aunt of Qi Min. Qi Min is the rightful heir of the throne, and after him his son Bao'er.
LOL, js noticed that. in the book she takes her everyday
Yes in China, NRTA has a strict 40 episodes rule for dramas since 2020. But now they say its not strictly implemented since 2025, they have relaxed the rule. They said with prior permission and expert review process, maybe some dramas can extend beyond it, but the process is not guaranteed, plus with longer schedules, budget problems, generally now 40 episodes is considered the benchmark. Some dramas submitted for 38 or 40, sometimes cut down 4-5 episodes by the censor board due to their various complicated rules.

I was okay with it, though I did not find them having a lot of chemistry, but they were sweet. But after today's episode they are kind of dragging their romance, like first she was interested, he rejected, now the opposite, and the moment I though everything is fine now, suddenly there is a misunderstanding again? Maybe they cannot let them date so easily, but the last misunderstanding part bored me a little today.

Tell me we are getting this tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
