Can someone enlighten me? Is Yan Zheng, the Marquis of Wuβan, related to Qi Shu, the royal princess? Are they…
No Qi Shu and Yan/Xie Zheng aren't relatives. In fact they were also betrothed. Xie Zheng is from a noble family, but he has nothing to do with royal family. Wei Yan is the brother of Yan/Xie Zheng's mother, so Wei Yan is his maternal uncle.

Okay I will try once more. Under Imperial Regime there are many armies. We know 2 of them- 1.Jinzhou Army which is lead by He Jingyuan (who was the prefect of Linan town, friend of FL's dad). Li Huai An/Wenkan is also part of this army, he leads troops here. 2. Xie Army lead by our Marquis ML.
Wei Yan, ML's uncle has control over Jinzhou army as He Jingyuan used to work under him. In order to have some say or power over Jinzhou army, Li Huai An's grandpa, Tutor Li, who is rival of Wei Yan in the palace, has send his grandson Wenkan/Li Huai Anto become the student of He Jingyuan.
The third army is Chongzhou army, this is lead by Prince Changxin and his two sons- Sui Yuanhuai and Sui Yuanqing. General Shi Yue and Shi Hu were part of this, lead troops here, Shi Hu has been killed by our FL. This previously might have been an imperial army, but now supports rebel prince, their lord Prince Changxin, its like his private army now.
Jinzhou army and Xie army both are together trying to fight Chongzhou Army. Baxia served as Prince Changxin's home where ML went with 1000 troops defeated 10,000 of them via dam burst. Then the next fight happened in the mountain region. ML had 800 troops, Chongzhou had 30k troops. After General Shi Hu's death, and Sui Yuanqing getting rescued, Chongzhou army facing heavy defeat has withdrawn to Luicheng, the place where Prince Changxin and Sui Yuanhuai/Qi Min currently is. So the next battle would be fought against Prince Changxin to recover Luicheng, which is under his control currently.
Well everything aside..... coming to political plot.....can anyone explain about these two army...as much I have…
Jinzhou army is under He Jingyuan, Li Huai An is part of that. Xie Army lead by ML. Both these armies serve the same emperor. But Prince Changxin's army, I am sorry I don't remember name,, something with Y...they support their lord who is Prince Changxin. Prince Changxin is a rebel, he has maintained that private army of his since years.
Who is FL's father ? Why would his identity create an issue to main leads ?
Her father was Wei Qilin, he is considered a traitor of Great Yin. He is indirectly blamed for the massacre 17 years back which lead to the death of Crown Prince Chengde, ML's father and 1,00,000 soldiers.
I feel the oxytocin part of the chemistry and not the dopamine part. But the way i see it is this... chemistry…
No everyone can have their perceptions. But I really don't know who the 2ML is here, really. Oh my God, I love Deng Kai, he is amazing, he has always been. He is an interesting character, I just feel he should be shown in every episode for a little because he is the main villain, plotting something, like today what we got. Though I like his chemistry with Xuer, few of the earlier abusive scenes were pathetic, today was okay. Ohh yeah I agree, he is such a star of the show even with his minimal presence.
