If anyone has seen the leaks or watched it themselves, please DO NOT share anything about it, not even in spoiler…
Exactly! And if you really have to do it, despite the fact that its from an illegal source, just write a comment before without spoilers, that what you are saying is from the leaked scene, so that people can choose or choose not to open it. Its nice discussing stuff, we can wait for 5-6 more days. Lets not take away this fun and the hardwork of the crew.
Finally, supporting casts are actors too. They are putting in the work as much as the main leads are. The way…
This! This is so true. I am appalled by people criticizing supporting actors. Who wouldn't take the chance if given? Why wouldn't they try to promote themselves? Why would they think of not achieving greater success? If people have problems, take them to producers, editors, directors, writers. Other actors are doing their job. Plus this is not just a romantic drama, never was. Political intrigue, war, secrets are a huge part of the drama, just like romance. So this cannot be done by 2 people alone.
But the question is how many can kill the lion without being killed themselves. If they can kill the lion, that…
Yes. Because she took another identity. Because she had no option. Because she never was He Rufei. If she told the truth, she would be indirectly blamed for resulting in killing ML's dad and his soldiers. She had no proof at that time to find out the truth. Hence she did it.
Changyu also started from scratch. She killed spies who attacked her in the snow first. Then she fought against enemies saving Linan. Then she killed the scouts in the mountain. Then she fought against General Shu and killed him. Then today she killed Prince Changxin.
Also different people, different plots, different scenarios. The only thing common between He Yan and Changyu is that both of them can fight.
Okay a scene that gave me goosebumps- When Crown Princess held the child Qi Min's face and forcefully put it near the burner, his screams, her smiling through tears and bidding him goodbye! No wonder he is this insane.
Guys Li Huai An and Changyu have difference in opinions. It doesn't make one bad. Li Huai An is correct from his…
Yes definitely I agree to that. What I also think that because none of her decisions has resulted into something bad, she thinks its okay to do what she wishes for. She has been lucky and has talent so she gets away with it. Hopefully she is always this lucky or stops doing these things. But I am also glad that Li Huai An isn't dead so I cannot fully blame her hence I am conflicted.

Well I do agree with you. That's why I said from his perception he is absolutely correct. As a general audience, from my perception I felt both were correct and had their reasons. But about Li Huai An going to the wrong side? I really don't understand why is it on the FL. If he died, he would have been unable to go to the wrong side? FL gave him a chance to live on. He Jingyuan wrote a letter to him asked him to not align himself with either Wei or Li. He burnt both the papers send for funeral from both sides. He told his subordinate he would fight for the common people. Even after all this if he goes to the wrong side, that's on him.
I dislike Sui Yuanqing so much that I don't know how to hate him more. I don't remember the last time when I hated a villain so much. Whenever I think huhh I cannot hate him more than this, he does something more hateful.
But the baby actor is so cute with his dimples. His dancing videos with TXW and Deng Kai, ohh my God he is good at such a young age.
Her father worked under Wei Yan. Anyone who works under a General of that high rank, take their surname. Like people under Xie Zheng, are Xie Wu, Xie Qi etc. Wei Qilin worked under Wei yan, hence wei surname.
Guys Li Huai An and Changyu have difference in opinions. It doesn't make one bad.
Li Huai An is correct from his place. He is a general, he fights for people, doesn't matter how injured he is, its his decision if he wants to die fighting or not. He is not someone to desert just because he is injured. FL should not make decisions for him, from his perspective. Even though he likes her a little, he stood his ground and refused to see her again, he understands there are important things than clinging to one sided liking. I really liked this fact about him.
Changyu doesn't care about rules, she has always been like that. She cares for people. Li Huai An wouldn't have stood 5 minutes more if he had gone to the battle. She protected someone she considers a friend, someone who has helped her before. She returned the favour to him. If Changyu was someone who is weak, who cannot defend territory, and still took a reckless decision, I would have been against that too. But she was able to defend Lucheng, and kill Prince Changxin. Looking at the big picture, she won, imperial army won, and she saved Li Huai An from death as well. If someone can bend the rules, a little without causing any harm, I don't see a problem.
This is a subplot. A disagreement between two characters. I don't think its that difficult to stand in their position and understand their perception to it. We don't need to take sides always, and labelling one correct and other wrong.
Same! Of course the pacing is... not that good but I'm not disappointed or upset. 40 episodes isn't a lot when…
A lot, like the whole Changyu growth thing could have been placed better instead of 3-4 episodes, if only we had 50-60 episodes. Like reading the novel, her journey was way more organic, felt natural, so I don't blame the people who think Changyu suddenly got powerful, because they haven't read the novel. I am glad I did read it though, I am able to visualize things as shown in the drama and nothing Changyu does makes me feel its abrupt or unnatural.
Ikr . Just got home to check some spoilers and comments from our pig slapping community but what happened now…
Don't take it to heart what others think. Take rest, watch it and decide for yourself. People are bound to have different perceptions. I enjoyed it regardless, though there are some things I am conflicted about. I will rewatch and have a perception then.
Your latter statement stands true.
