Exactly, like what I have heard is though forced love and everything is there maybe with abuse, but there is also redemption, and they are absolutely not following the ending of that toxic novel. So that's a hope for us.

I never read the novel, but I have heard about it, and its extremely toxic.
But the good thing is I have heard they have rewritten a lot in the script. There were many things filmed ( seen Reuters) which were not the part of the novel. So though YCX is evil, its very unlikely they will follow the novel except some basic plots.

I really don't understand why do some of us continuously have to take the name of another drama here. No drama should be a standard for another drama. China releases tons of costume dramas every year, even dramas release same week do not face such competition.
These two dramas only have the same genre. The plots, the character traits are completely different. Maybe some of us disliked the other drama, and hence are scared for this one, but if you continuously mention that drama here, this would just lead to trolls, fan wars and spreading of toxicity.

Lets just discuss the drama and characters here please, and hope this drama does well individually on its own.
