Can someone explain why this drama isn't doing well on MDL? There are only about 17,000 people watching it, which…
Many people start watching the drama during the airing of the final episodes, so that they can binge watch. Many people wait to check the ending, especially in a drama like this, which is based on healing. Many people fear a sad ending. Plus despite the star cast, the drama is based on an unusual topic. Many people do not consider such dramas enjoyment. A male lead in a wheelchair for half of the drama, a female lead mentally not fine, is not everyone's cup of tea. Though its an idol drama, its not made like one, its focus is the plot, hence a lot of screentime is given to supporting characters, and just not the leads, which many in the audience do not like. Plus there are around 5 more dramas airing currently, people have a lot of options to watch.
I love how our Feng Zhi Yao still has a romantic plot line, since his white moonlight from the novel doesn't exist…
I am not putting my hopes up, for anyone except the leads. While I really love our cutie Zhi Yao, and the princess is so cool, them being very different, in class, type, culture, even goals, is a very big issue.
1. Yes2. Maybe not for 8 years, but for some years. We are not clear about Lishan thing yet.3. Dead4. It was before…
She is too depressed. She doesn't care about the world. She is deeply engraved in something she does. You would see that soon, I am not spoiling that for you. Its in the initial few episodes.
I really wonder how they're going to handle Ye Li's mental illnesses in a logical way. At this point in the story,…
I absolutely agree to you. But to expect realism in dramas, is something I don't, because we all would be disappointed then. Its unreal that what no doctors could do for 8 years, a young girl who is not mentally fine, could cure it in 3 months. Its a miracle, but we all accepted it because its a drama. Power of love has a lot of strength in dramas. So while I really hope the execution remains closer to practicality, I feel even Yeli's recovery would be a miracle like MXY's.
Please, I just started watching The First Jasmine and I have some questions 1. Qingshao her maid is dead right?2.…
1. Yes 2. Maybe not for 8 years, but for some years. We are not clear about Lishan thing yet. 3. Dead 4. It was before Lishan's attack or whatever happened. She first met him when he saved her from bandits, picked her up in the horse. She was a teenager, he was a very young adult. 5. Who is Mrs Wen? 6. Lishan is her mother's maternal home. Lishan's headmaster is Yeli's maternal grandpa. Hence she used to visit Lishan all the time, stayed there, studied there, sometimes coming back to the capital. Hence she has flashbacks of Lishan as a child, teenager, even as adult.
I love their late night convos. I just love any of their conversations. Even when she asks who is this, who is that, and him explaining, its just nice, feels natural. I know I have used the term natural for them 20 times in 20 episodes. Please bear with me, I will be saying this in the next 20 episodes as well. In most of the dramas, couple talk about villains, about revenge, about some plan they are making together, or they bicker, when they are in love they are completely romantic. Don't get me wrong, I really love them. But MXY and Yeli talk about daily lives, about past, about food, shops, knowing new people (as in today's episode). It feels something an arranged marriage couple would talk about. Its just beautiful. But yes I cannot wait for the truth to come out, even with some heart break, so they can join hands and plan things together.
