What a plot twist ! Who knew Song Han was responsible for both his bio mom and father’s death?!. Well, not fully responsible for his dad’s demise, but he was there when he died. Let’s just say his character was destroyed by his own father. It must have screwed him up completely to see his dad poison his adopted mom and connive against his own son!.Song Yichun is a really twisted, messed up human! But I’m not really interested in Song Han’s arc as I am the 5th uncle. When will he get his comeuppance?

The translation I read, the father implied that Song Mo was not his biological son. Maybe the father lied. But it would explain why the father is mean to him from childhood if he felt that Mo isn’t really his son. That led Song Mo to cutting all ties with him.

Very good points! You’ve answered my question on why she doesn’t conveniently deal with her uncle despite how efficient she is. If her own father cannot break away from her uncle, stands to reason that she can’t, as well. Especially in that era.

A solid 10 for me. I love how the ML can’t keep his hands off FL always touching and hugging her like a real life couple . Their chemistry is so natural.

She shouldn’t star in a romantic drama period. She’s much better in other genres as long as she doesn’t play a sobbing mess. But her chemistry is always “off” with her male costars.

Trust YYS to bring all the sexiness to his character. Baek Sa Eon is as sexy as f*ck! And the chemistry between the leads is smoldering!. The way he took off her dress ribbons at the party screams “possession”. Just watching him go crazy at the thought of someone hurting his wife tells me he’s head over heels in love with her. Even though she doesn’t care for him yet.

This is what you get when you unleash the talents of a mature, seasoned actor who is not afraid to flaunt his sexuality rather than these young baby-faced leads. Wild! I’m really enjoying myself.

You are absolutely right. Just having the ability to sense others feelings does not mean they are automatically good partners. A good partner is someone who can communicate effectively how they are feeling, what they want, what they expect, at the same time, they too, should be good listeners, hearing and understanding what their partners want. Anyone who expects that their partners should mind read and automatically get what they want is living in fantasy land. Real relationships are not built that way.

There isn't a 'superpower' that makes a person read others emotions or minds. However empaths DO exist in real life. The drama may have exaggerated it a bit so it can tell a good tale, but it doesn't mean that people who have an uncanny ability to sense others emotions don't exist in real life. Some people even coin the term ESP.

I'm not Chinese but even I found the translations hilarious. I guess it depends on your sense of humor. I surprised myself by bursting out laughing at her jokes. Whoever wrote the script is brilliant! Or has a sense of humor similar to mine.
