I accept the idea that rape is one step below murder so that could make some people not like the term. I feel a little more receptive to that whole debate after talking and thinking about it for many hours. Overall, yes to what you just said! As the young person I am, maybe I'll try to work on that not backing off thing. I like having this diversity in the BL community.. hahah. It's better than it once was.

Hmm.. You're right. I don't want to call what LC did wrong because I like the couple so much, and if I see it as immoral, then I can't continue to like the couple in the same way anymore. But I feel that people who like the XS and YJ couple did the same thing because they liked the idea of the couple from the beginning. Or perhaps, they are tired of everyone cancelling shows with perceived rape and have a distinct to go against everyone else for the high of it all? Maybe? Maybe not? Will anyone admit to it?

I will admit, LC is wrong. I just don't care too much because I find it less severe. So hypocrite I am! To defend myself, I dropped TharnType. I have dropped novels I read that have rape as well. Maybe LC's type of sexual harassment is more fujoshi-friendly? Just throwing out ideas.

I honestly don't care what LC did to MR. Calling that stuff sexual assault is like, meh. I don't care at this point! Much of it is just flirting. Lol.

And, I think that this experience will make you stronger. If we continue in the BL community on MDL, very controversial things like this will appear again. Just learn to not take anything personally, don't let the MDL comment section affect the show for you, and take it all in stride man. Insults are petty and not worth our time no matter if we agree or disagree.

What keeps me going is I know who I am and I know my opinion, and no one can take that away from me. Maybe you hate some people's opinions, but people today are not much different than people say 500 years ago, and the world hasn't burned down yet, so everything will be okay.

To be honest, I am open to the theory that it never happened. It will make me feel a little funny because I spent so many hours debating about the rape thing with people in this comment section, but if it didn't happen, then happy me! I will feel a lot better watching the show.

I for one, don't care too much about rape-plots. Even when I depict something as rape, I will still give it a chance past that because I really believe that it's just fiction. Although, I might drop. I mean, the only rape I remember enjoying is the one in Addicted. Hahahahahah. Makes me feel like there's something wrong with me. And there are many, many questionable events throughout that book. I didn't read all of them, but my friend told me about it. I read a good portion of the book including a couple of those "scenes" though.

I think it's nothing wrong with continuing to discuss these same plot points. I continuously think about them, and people still mention them and are clarifying their opinions as they go along.

And what little brother did was wrong because there was no consent because XS was drunk. I like the step brother couple the more the show goes, but I don't agree that what happened is okay. Some people say, because XS said he's okay with it, it's not rape.. Ehhh. Dicey. What the little brother did was wrong. If people want to, we won't call it rape, fine. But YJ took advantage of XS. That's on the period.

And it's possible to enjoy the plot while believing it's rape or assault or whatever it is. Here I am. I am the biggest freaking fan of this show.

Also in CIWYW where they say that BL is straight men falling in love with each other. Meeehhh. That's not true. Many, many shows and books take this perspective, but all of them don't. In so many shows the characters are actually gay. In 1000 Stars Phupha is gay in the book, in TharnType obviously Mew is gay, in What the Duck (sorry old Mew throw-back since we're on the topic), Mew's character and I believe his boyfriend is gay as well. And there are just so many series where the characters are actually gay. Especially if we talk about Danmei and Chinese novels, so many gay characters. Sarawat in 2gether as well was not straight.. And 1000 Stars, 2gether, TT, What The Duck are all BL....

We have to acknowledge that the director P'Aam wrote the piece CIWYW and anything written by anyone is biased! Maybe the people around him said something like that, but I feel people who try to make generalized statements like that about BL are just against BL for some reason. Let's admit that many gay men just hate the idea of BL, so they will try to perpetuate bad ideas about it. I am definitely not trying to make fujoshis and fudanshis and the BL industry sound like victims here.. I just acknowledge the truth. BL is changing, it's evolving. It's not only one thing. CIWYW is a BL as well and the director in the show is not straight either..... lol.

It's true the BL industry is flawed, they discriminate against LGBTQ. I will not deny these facts. Things change. Things will change. Things have changed, and I know that all BL ever written isn't only about straight guys, and that's not a new emergence.

Also all the guys being straight is implausible for love triangles. I know I am going on and on. But in Love Poison, the guys openly flirt with and like guys. In Gen Y the characters openly flirt with and like guys. I'm sure I can think of more if I just sit here.

One show I will say that is not a BL is Friendzone. That show is so good and shows the life of gay men. I say Friendzone shows the distinction between a BL and Gay-themed. BL is more of a fantasy world. That includes fantasy worlds where all men are gay and/or like men as well... Gay-themed (in my opinion) usually tackles more serious issues. BL also can tackle serious issues as is seen here with this series or even with Sotus S.. but it's still issues tackled within a fantasy land. Another example of a coming-up non-BL is "Papa & Daddy." I even think the movie sequel of "His" can be classified as gay-themed because it's about a custody battle against a newly out man gay man and his ex-wife. I'm just tired of people trying to trash my BL.. I take criticisms that are true but not ones that aren't!!

This is very good.. I find the ending of the series was too abrupt. The older brother's decision to quit the provincial team was dumb, but I guess it was good for the progression of the show?

At the end, the events rushed too quick, and some things are just not explained. The uncle from the shooting booth, we don't know about him. What happened to that girl? And both of the MCs made it to the provincial team okay great but then what? What is their relationship now, what about the father's input? I guess they're just friends on a shooting team? It could have tied all that better together.

With all my negative comments, China did great at making this BL without making it BL. The older brother is the type of character I really like so cool, good.

Very true! Michael has a part in Love Sick 2. Albeit ever so small, it shows he has been interested in acting for a while. He probably has lots to give but wasn't given any big opportunities yet. Perhaps, it's his time to bloom. (: I am watching!!

I scrolled down, and I made this same comment about ages earlier.. huh. Not erasing. Lol.

One actor is 41 and the other is 26. Bahahahah. I wonder if the characters also have this age difference? All I can tell you is both actors are very hot. And some people are talking about representation while I am just super shallow and the reason I like stuff like this is because "fathers are hot."

The only other Asian films/TV shows I can think of that have gay fathers raising younger kids that have a romantic storyline (of course) are Love at 7-11, HIStory 2: Right or Wrong, Fathers, and His (the movie). Tell me if you can think of others.

I just became a really big fan of Michael from CIWYW! I dunno how much I see him with Earth (is that couple confirmed?), but I have an open mind.

I really, really love this first episode. The chemistry between James and Ait is amazing!! Plus I really like Bas. I find his story and his passion really moving. As for them getting PS, phones taken away, a top = cucumber and chicken breast shake?! What?! First, that's gross, and second, I don't really know what to say.. The actor Michael is handsome and in good shape? Lol . I dunno.

I do not know what to think about actors undergoing these conditions. I know artists as well, even in the U.S, can get their phones taken away and similar things depending on the company. For me, I have never undergone such things, and I am not going to be an actor or a singer so I should never. I don't know how ethical I think these things are, and I like that this series is starting dialogue to talk about it.

This series is definitely different than most BL series out right now and I think P'Aam is doing good judging only from the first episode. The issues seem as deep as ITSAY but with a much more approachable format. I am not even that big of a fan of ITSAY because that show turned crazy quick. It just made me feel bad because the subject matter was so depressing.. Is this gonna be depressing too...

It seems like P'Aam is writing this story about himself.. One of James' duties was subtitling, pretty sure P'Aam subtitled 2moons. And the series is called 2Nights. It has a similar name to 2moons. Also James directed "Present Perfect" which P'Aam directed. I thought, maybe they just used the name of P'Aam's series to avoid copyright issues or something, but they could have just made up a series.

There is a thing about fake-shipping. The 2moons couples heavily promoted through the fake-shipping. NOW. What we must figure out is what actor in 2moons is P'Aam's type? Which actor in 2moons looks like Ait?

I watched the first 7 episodes, and it is pretty good. Too bad it isn't a BL, but I think it is good enough just with bromance. I was entertained. Sports-like plots when done right are always good. Tennis, volleyball, swimming, or air-gun shooting (lol) all good.

This is a weird genre. I don't know how much I like the couple.
