This drama in a nutshell: When you think you're already a worst person just to find out there's someone 1000x worst than you....haha
This drama was weird at the beginning but it turned into a fun, manzai-style bantering after the second half. Last episode was kind of draggy but overall it was a good watch.
Ur comment is making me not to watch this just yet. Do u have recommendation for good courtroom drama?
Sorry for my late reply. I am not into law dramas, but I liked Legal High, Hero (2001), Majo Saiban, 99.9 Keiji Senmon Bengoshi, Good Partner (Jdrama) and the recent Ishiko to Haneo.
Non law dramas with extended courtroom scenes that I have watched and liked: Smile Innocent Days Shiroi Kyoto Watashitachi no Kyokasho Saka no Tochu no Ie
I guess the movie version is better but this is still watchable and it has more stories on the scouted girls. Fanservice isn't that much despite having Asami Yuma and Nishino Sho in the drama, if that matters...LoL
I liked this better than the first one as the story felt more developed without much waste on telling the backstory of the main characters. The action part was also good especially in the warehouse towards the end.
Ah i haven't read the manga, but isn't it Josei manga? from the synopsis, the story in this drama is focusing…
Oh yeah speaking of relationship, this drama didn't provide a good one too. It's too one sided with shameless FL thinking that she will be destined with ML from day 1. The love didn't develop naturally and the male characters were too conveniently fulfilling FL's mindset. There are tons of dramas out there with better characterization and believable relationship...

No point of asking me to drop a drama when I already finished it....and it's not like I don't know what Josei manga is. 😅😅 That's why I said the drama was "too Josei" for me (note the word me)
As I said in my top comment above I was expecting more "work aspect" in the story. If you notice, this drama cut-short on the renovation part by only showing the "after" during the ending credit. It's such a waste in my opinion and could've been a game changer should they brought it in the middle. I wonder how it is in the manga though. But it could be interesting to see more "realistic renovation work" in the drama without blindly follow the manga.
By the way, I have been watching drama for quite some time....I mean I started from the late 90's. So it's not like I haven't dropped a drama before although I didn't include them as it was way long before I joined MDL. I'm not that naive to torture myself if I think it's really bad. By completing this drama it simply means it's tolerable although it didn't turned out like what I have expected.
This was a feel-good, light, and funny drama. Very enjoyable and stress free. I also liked the small talk about movies in each episode between Mr. Shibui and Matsumaru. Mr. Shibui was exceptionally funny and he is the MVP of this drama in my opinion.
Dropping a drama you're not enjoying is the preferable option than forcing yourself to continue watching and hating…
Nah..When I said I able not to drop I meant to say the drama was still watchable although I don't like how it turned out to be. After all Jdrama only has 10 episode. Unless it's really unwatchable I rarely drop Jdrama.
Nah...this was "too Josei" for me. I was expecting less Josei element and more work but it's the other way around. Able to not dropping this drama is already an achievement for me...LoL
EDIT on Oct14: To make things clear when I say it's an achievement for not dropping I was referring to my "endurement" to the "Josei logic" i.e. the love problems of the FL the male characters that conforming FL's mindset, as well as the supposedly lowkey feminist messages (that felt too one-sided).
This could've been countered with more work elements, I mean the renovations part, but the drama failed to give a fair share on that. Not sure how the manga goes. It could be they just followed what is in the manga except that shitty "music video like" camera effect that appeared every 5 minutes in the drama ...LMAO
This is entertaining as long as you don't take things too seriously. It was mildly horror with some jump scares, topped with gore elements and grotesque so be careful if you want to decide to watch this one. The mystery part however was a so-so and the humor was a bit cynical.
Feels more of an awareness campaign than a drama to be honest. But it's only 1 hour long and they included realistic cases instead of the stereotypical dramatized one we often see in dramas. Could've been better without the narration by Furutachi Kanji but nonetheless it's a good, non depressing watch despite being something about depression.
Thanks! I was thinking to create another one for specials but let's all under one list 😎
Just make it one list then :)
I'm not sure how to feature the list other than you manually post it on feed like you already did. Maybe you can also post it on JdramaClub thread in forum section....but forum is the least active section in MDL
This is an okay drama. Nothing great but nothing to hate at the same time. Overall It's a typical Japanese workplace drama with episodic format that might not be everyone cup of ramen.
However, the drama has that "nice overall feeling" with some funny and sweet moments. It is something you don't mind watching during family gathering...yeah that kind of drama.
Kudos to the prod. team for trying to include all sort of athletes and problems a management company might be facing when dealing with these athletes. Kudos to the child actors too.
