I watched it raw. It wasn't bad and very comical at times but the number of episode is too little it felt it didn't develop into a strong drama. Not sure of how close it is with the original novel. Very little focus on work, more on the people of the "Sakura Shopping Street", if that matters to you..

Overall quite an interesting drama. I'm not a fan of it "trying to look cute" though, but other than that it was solid. Please bare the first 2 episodes for the super-exaggerated receptionist job-scope. After that it will be good.

Okay, overall this drama was funny and lighthearted with some bits of information about being elegant and the history behinds it. The plot was simple almost like a fairy tale in the modern days though. I watched it raw so I have missed some of the terms, names and French words....LoL

Okay, finally got to watch this drama. I was skeptical with Nino being a family man as I always see him as "Yamada Taro", but I was wrong. He did a good job in this one.

Overall this was very entertaining, unpredictable, out of the norm in terms of how the plot unfolds. The writer made a lot of twists to trick the viewers. I wish he made some blunders but upon reflection after finish watching I couldn't find any major irregularities, and inconsistencies, even though it was felt like it has some when I was watching couple of last episodes.

It looks like many viewers have been disappointed with the ending. I personally find this drama has a good revelation considering how "meh" it could be for this kind of genre. At least it was better than Saiai or Shinhannin Flag, just to name a few recent dramas that I have watched.

I think Koharu is dead. Miwa said "Aki doesn't want to leave this world (suicide) before she sees Koharu again".…
Yes, I'm thinking the same thing by the expression of the wife and Todo. Then right at that time the director shift the scene to Narusawa's baby who was born as the symbol of "life vs dead".

Title Naguru Onna
I only read what this drama is about after someone recommended it on "Mirai e no 10 Count" page. I should have noticed it earlier, but I guess the lame poster makes it buried down under the landfill...lol

This drama is actually has very very minimal similarity to "Mirai" and personally I think the two shouldn't have been associated together and not to be compared with each other. Both are good in its own way, but Naguru Onna was created during the golden era of Jdrama, therefore it has the so called "formula" that makes everyone feel happy with it and the finale was done so grande you would feel like smoking cigar at the end.

Overall 8.5/10 for its entertainment value.

I watched this because of Shida and smoking food. I was expecting some "cooking actions", but smoking isn't something that has a lot of actions...LoL I'm not a fan of watching couple with no tension and drama so I found this was a bit difficult to be watched back to back (READ: boring).. Things only got interesting at around Ep9 to be honest.

It might not work for me but I'm sure there are people who would enjoy this kind of drama.

Not bad and very addictive you would feel like want to watch all episode in one go. The plot was predictable and…
Oh I forgot to write about Mitsushima Hikari. I think her character in this is a copy paste from Gomen ne Seishun...but less tsundere. I guess this character is interesting especially her curiosity and always asking question attitude...lol

Not bad and very addictive you would feel like want to watch all episode in one go. The plot was predictable and cliché as far as the sport theme goes, but it's the kind of "necessary cliché" I would say...LoL

The makeup artist deserves a mention because he/she made all the actress look gorgeous especially Uchida Yuki...I think she looked 20 years younger in this one...haha

KimuTaku cliché-ness was boring and cringey as hell howver. I was hoping a support position kind of Main Lead role for him, but still KimuTaku drama always be KimuTaku drama, with all the stereotype around his character. Luckily I haven't watched some of his recent years drama so I managed to close an eye on this one.

I don't know anything about boxing, but I guess they did a good job for school level kind of boxing. It wasn't the main focus anyway. Like I said above it was more of a KimuTaku drama...so as long as KimuTaku look cool and stylish...haha. But seriously nothing to expect about the boxing technicality, as these guys were weak to begin with and their target/objective was only to beat other school next door.

Overall I rate this 8/10 for its entertainment value.

It was not as bad. The main plot was well written in my opinion. At least the writer stick with logic/common sense throughout the series and there were clear motivations behind the characters actions. It was not as flashy as what depicted in the trailer definitely, but the story was intriguing enough that you would want to know more at the end of every episode. I'm saying this as a person who have watched several other detective/mystery dramas back to back prior to watching this one...namely Spec Saga, Ishi no Mayu until Jashin no Tenbin, Keizoku+SP+Movie (rewatch)

Although I do admit that there were some downsides especially the portrayal of police and MPD Div. 1 in this was questionable and at times laughable. The police office also felt like a small-enterprise than a metropolitan headquarters..LoL Some of the latter half episodes also felt a bit draggy.

As long as you can close an eye on those flaws and stop obsessing with "crime coordinator solving unsolved cases" as written in synopsis, this drama is more than good for a binge-watch.

8/10 for its entertainment value

Quite satisfying spin-off if you're following the main series. The mystery was better than the "Butterfly" in my opinion, although the pace in this one was very slow to the point it might not for everyone taste. The super serious dialogues could also make you fall asleep along the way if you watched this after a hectic day.

This is however would be an interesting watch to those who know Takano's character from the previous series. In here we got to see his struggle in adapting to Public Security department as well as the peculiarity of the people in this department. These were the main focus during the first half of the series, which could be misunderstood as draggy by certain viewers.

The mystery in this spin-off will also eventually solves the incidents involving Takano's previous partner, which is a strong reason why you would want to watch this. Overall I rate this 8/10.

If you wonder if you need to watch the previous one before this, the answer is yes. It would be nice to have watched all 3 seasons to understand the character, sentiment among normal policemen about Public Security department, as well as the motivation of the main character.

So an alternative title would be "Value of Elegance"?
Haha just watrched Nanba MG5 the other day where "Atai" used by the Yankee Girls in some of the episodes.
私 can be read Watakushi, Watashi, Washi, Atashi, Atai at the same time as far as I know

Watching this the 2nd time after many years and have been watched SPEC and Sick's along the way makes me feel that this movie was quite satisfyingly close the 1st Keizoku series. I remembered I wasn't that convinced and confused as hell the first time I watched it...but now after gotten familiarized with the style of the production, I must say this movie was nicely done.
