Yeah she was actually the best villain of TMOPB. She is completely wasted here.
Ditto! I don’t know why she chose this useless role which is clearly not meant for someone like her with her talent and experience. A pity really especially after TMOPB
That speech by AS would make any girl go weak at the knees. And when he asked her to be more feminine I almost choked on my drink. Lol she is in deed a wild horse
You are right...she is manipulative and she is not in a straight mind.
Somehow I never felt sorry for her when Khan disrespected and humiliated her. You could tell from her eyes she was up to something. As they say the eyes are the windows to the soul.
So far she’s the first character in this drama that top the hate list for me.
The drama does need a real villain now that the others have turned out to be not that bad. I mean Khan is feared by the tribe and Tang and her son is a worthless brat who feels entitled to the throne. But both husband and her son pale in comparison. She is on another level. I love how the plot constantly twists in this drama. Never a dull moment.
I saw this awhile ago on my YouTube home feed. They look so good together. You can't tell the age gap and I wouldn't be sad at all if they became a real couple. :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC9zlKEsvZU
Manga didn't have the Leyan character. Its in the drama that mentioned CG always protected Leyan. I also loved…
I stand corrected then. I must have misread the post. Yes, I remember they referred to it in the drama. When I read the post, I thought they were referring to other stuffs in the Manga that were left out in the drama. Anyway, LY truly is a kind and sweet soul and have come such a long way. She is one of the few people who have stood by CG through thick and thin and she deserves credit for that alone. A wise call to have her in the drama. She carries the hope of friendship and sisterly love which CG needs to heal. Both Reba and Ren make such an awesome pair already. I wonder when it will be released
I'm gonna defend Viki for once on this. It's not Viki that is slow, that's the release schedule set by Tencent.…
You are right in that there was no Viki sub team involvement this time. The main issue I had was when new episodes were being aired the subs were either not loading properly or incomplete, so I had to wait until the next day to watch them with full subs. I had thought they would be made available since the audience are being served new episodes on schedule. It may have been a technical error too, who knows? I totally agree with you about the poor subbing. I had to rack my brain at times trying to figure out what were being said. It had an auto-translate feel to it.
I am a little bit behind. But now that I have a week long break, I am hoping to keep up with y'all. It is all very tempting to look at spoilers. I don't understand Chinese, but I intend to watch the drama RAW since Viki subs are painfully slow. No disrespect to the translation team, but I renewed my subscription for this drama only to realize it was pointless. Anyway, I am pleased to see LY earn her stripes and the pride in her father's eyes made me tear up a bit to my own surprise. I think some of her best moments were when she stood up for CG when she was still her timid old self. She seems to have gotten some of that courage from CG. I remember reading a post somewhere that in the Manga, CG always had her back. Explains her unwavering loyalty and faith in CG. GOSH! That dance though cracked me up so bad. I laugh out loud every time it crosses my mind. The introduction of new characters makes it all very exciting. And what a cast!! On a different note, I just read that Raba's next drama with Allen Ren "The Blue Whisper" has just been announced. I am stoked!! Fingers crossed it will be another huge hit.
Quite the opposite I think. Some haters probably spreading fake news which is nothing new. I watch Marcus here!…
I know! I am very picky about dramas, not that I am an expert, but this is one of the few I'd give a 10/10. Too bad to those who can't appreciate a good drama when they see one irrespective of whether they like the actors or not. Truth be told, I am not a fan of any of the main leads here but I am familiar with their earlier works. That's why I decided to invest in this drama and am blown away by it all
Some of the first few episodes look ominous, but they all turned out to be not as bad. I have no complaints with regards to the acting but the comedy seems to drag on a bit for me.
Just got kinda pissed to see someone say The Long Ballad is a flop in China, I thought its doing great because…
Quite the opposite I think. Some haters probably spreading fake news which is nothing new. I watch Marcus here! on YouTube and he said it has been very well received so far. He is reliable. So take it with a pinch of salt. I personally don't care about whether others too like the dramas I like. I understand why you are upset though.
