You can tell that Sky is already so soft for Sun. He planned out that whole day just to make Sun happy and spoil…
I mean, is knowing how to properly do CPR common knowledge? They certainly didn't teach me that in school. I figured Sky was just trying whatever came to mind while in a panic.

I really hope Sky does get stronger and learn how to protect himself. Even with Sun, if his life is constantly in danger, he's gonna need to learn self-defense. Also, I really wanna see Sky and Sun team up and kick people's asses together as a couple before this show is over. Missed opportunity if it doesn't happen.

Title Y-Destiny
The Masuk/Tir/Hia episode was definitely the one I was most looking forward to simply because I really love the actors, but this may honestly have been the most boring story out of the bunch (even worse than Tue and Ake, which is saying something). And I REALLY hate to say that because I truly loved Perth and Talay in My Engineer and I love all three of them as IRL nerdy gamer bros. The problem for me was a paper thin plot and poor pacing. With other stories, it felt like things were rushed and they needed more than just two episodes to flesh out their story. But here, it's the opposite. Such a simple and mostly uneventful story did not need to be stretched out into two hour-long episodes. Everything here could've been told in 40-50 minutes tops if there weren't so many long pauses and characters staring inquisitively at nothing. I know these three are good actors, but I just don't think they were given much to work with here. Like, in My Engineer, Talay plays an energetic, curious, and chatty character that kinda matches Talay's real personality and is more fun to watch as a result. But here in Y-Destiny, he plays a character whose entire character is basically just being sad all the time... And Perth's character Tir should NOT have died in that situation. In a burning movie theater, he helps a woman pick up her unconscious son for all of 2 seconds before firefighters arrive and take the kid, only to completely abandon Tir who's choking on smoke until he dies? Seriously!?

Anyway, I'm just gonna patiently wait for My Engineer S2. Check out Perth and Talay's Youtube channels, by the way. They're great!

Why isn’t anyone talking about the face Oh was making in Teh’s IG photo at the end? Why wasn’t he smiling?…
My guess is that Oh-aew might've been hesitant about taking the picture, but Teh excitedly took it anyway. In the last scene, Oh-aew said Teh could get in trouble by posting it, but Teh didn't seem to care because Oh-aew's more important.

Me at the end of episode 4: Yeah, Teh and Oh-aew should definitely stay separated. After what happened, I doubt their relationship can be believably salvaged. Change my mind.
Me at the end of episode 5: ...Consider my mind changed.

This is why I love these two shows. The writing and pacing are so good. They can create realistic drama and make it feel like the world is crashing down and things couldn't possibly get better, but then they do get better and it doesn't feel forced or contrived. I've watched plenty of romances where drama just kinda slaps you in the face out of nowhere, they dwell on it forever, but then it's resolved way too fast. But this resolution actually felt satisfying and believable.

Really hope I'm not the only one that laughed when Puth was telling Masuk and Tir's tragic backstory with sad background music, but then Sat just says in English "This is so fucking sad" out of nowhere. lol

The only thing Jai did to Teh was when he kiss him ''the rehearsal way''. But Teh did fall in love way before…
Unless this was a mistranslation, after Teh confesses to Jai, Jai specifically says "I did everything on purpose. I had it all planned. So you'd feel this way towards me." Meaning Teh falling for Jai was apart of his plan. Plus during the rehearsal when Teh was having issues, Jai tells him to stop thinking about Oh-aew and think of him instead, knowing that at that point Teh had feelings for Jai, all according to plan.

Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
As much as Teh fucked up and clearly has a lot of issues to work out regarding what he truly likes, I can't help but feel bad for him because of what Jai did. Yes, Teh cheated. That's unforgivable and he should probably stay away from Oh-aew. But Jai is a god damn evil mastermind! Based on what he said, all of this shit was put into motion because of him. It probably started with Teh's first entry in his notebook. It's not that Jai was trying a directing technique and Teh got the wrong idea. Jai's directing technique was getting Teh to fall in love with him in the first place. Teh falling for Jai is exactly what Jai wanted. He had it all planned out. All just for his play. THAT'S INSANE! Jai played Teh like a god damn fiddle and I cannot help but feel a little bad for him.
But yeah, Teh's hurt Oh-aew enough. I feel like everything he and Oh-aew have gone through has just been one gigantic learning experience. Learning his sexuality, learning how relationships go, learning not to take things for granted, etc. And Teh should take all those lessons and grow from them...away from Oh-aew. I'd rather that than them shoehorning in a happy ending.

I forgot that I watched this 5 years ago. After watching Until We Meet Again, it's weird seeing Fluke in a totally different kind of role, and so young too. Still a great watch. I don't think it deserves a 6.2 at all. Are people rating it low because this isn't your typical cute and fluffy BL? Because, yeah, this shit gets dark, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think it was executed well and kept me invested. You can tell it's pretty low budget though.

Title Long Time No See Spoiler
I forgot how much I loved this movie. A BL with some action in it is a win for me. I mean, the ending felt like something out of a video game. A guy's loved one gets kidnapped and he infiltrates the bad guys' hideout to rescue them. He single-handedly beats the shit out of everyone inside getting in his way and makes his way to the top where his loved one is being held. He then has a showdown with the "final boss" before rescuing them. Amazing!

Fans: Oh my god, Mork's confidence is on another level! We love a persistent king! Get you a man like him!
Me: No thanks, I'm personally not into manipulative stalkers that don't know what "no" means...

I was kinda sleepy when watching episode 2, but I honestly don't remember a scene like this. Which part did it…
To be honest, I didn't think it was that bad. It definitely wasn't good, but I've certainly seen worse. I'm not sure if I'd call it sexual harassment exactly, just shameless flirting. But I've seen in other series where trans or very feminine men would invade guys' privacy, touch and hug them without permission, or make other sexual remarks that are out of line with the guys being visibly uncomfortable, but that's comedy apparently... Again, I didn't exactly get the energy of "sexual harassment" in this particular scene, but it's definitely another example of a trans character being over the top, super animated, and played for a quick laugh than taken seriously. But hey, maybe that'll change later on.

I'm probably alone on this, but Mork is bordering the line of confidence and arrogance for me. Like I'm usually not a fan of cliché lines like "I know you like me. Stop being stubborn and admit it." My immediate gut responses to stuff like that is "I didn't know you were a f**king mind reader, bro." And I know Mork is correct, but one of these days I'd like to watch a BL where someone super confident is actually just completely off the mark.

Never thought I'd be leaving a comment like this on a show that I enjoyed thoroughly week after week, but... here…
I agree. The fairytale scenes were cute, but they're something I'd expect to see as extra scenes on a DVD/Blu-Ray release or on Youtube or something, not take up a whole 13 minutes of the episode when other plot points could've been more fleshed out in that time.

I really hope I'm not the only one who thought Mork was a worthless character. Like, what did he actually do that mattered? I thought they were gonna set Aoey and Mork up as a side couple like most BLs like to do, but no, not in the slightest. All he really did was try to talk to Aoey twice which amounted to nothing. I still have no idea who he even is? What's his connection to the family? What's his connection to Aoey? Mork could've not existed and the story wouldn't have been any different honestly...
But I guess it's neat knowing that Y-Destiny exists in the Lovely Writer universe.
