Also, did anyone notice that one part from the preview for episode 10 where Top tells Mew he should vent out all his anger wasn't in this episode?

Since it seems like all the couples are beginning to repair themselves, I guess we need a character like Boeing to keep things from going too smoothly.

Season 1: I dunno about these two. Kinda toxic. Not sold on them as a couple.
Season 2: Okay...they're kinda cute, not gonna lie.
This movie: I love them so much!

Right. I don't think Boston needs romance, he just needs to realize how his actions affect people and be more compassionate. Him sleeping around isn't what made him a bad person, it was how much he hurt his friends and seemed to not care.

Even though Mew still has feelings for Top and started his relationship with Ray for all the wrong reasons, I still feel like he has the right to be angry that Ray cheated on him. Ray was honestly really annoying this episode. Not just cheating on Mew, but also high-key stalking Sand, not taking no for an answer, butting in where he doesn't need to be, and just generally acting like a child all while completely sober.

I'm also really not on board with how they seem to be going for a Boston redemption arc. Like, at this point, I was starting to accept that he just is who he is and in this particular episode, I don't think he did anything wrong. He was very wrong for lying and using manipulation tactics to have sex with a guy who was dating his friend, he was also wrong for knowing his friend with benefits had feelings for him and used that to keep him around even though he didn't feel the same. But he's always been honest about wanting to keep things casual, so it isn't his fault when characters like Nick and Atom catch feelings. But now it looks like Nick is going to teach him how to "love" I guess and "love" is apparently what Boston needed all along to be a better person. I don't really like that angle...

I mostly see people defending him because of his backstory, being traumatized by the loss of his mother and an addict to drugs and alcohol. I guess his behavior is excused because he's never in his right mind? Because he's an addict, we should never expect him to act rationally...I guess.

Just realized how thematically appropriate it is that Ray was dressed as Joker and Mew as Harley Quinn. Two toxic characters in a toxic relationship.

- There's only so much other people can do for someone with trauma and addiction if they aren't wiling to admit they have a problem. Ray doesn't believe he has a problem no matter how many people tell him. You can lead a horse to water, but can't force it to drink.
- That's what I thought at first, but not anymore. Actions speak louder than words. The moment he knew Mew broke up with Top, he immediately started making his moves like caressing Mew's hand, being overly protective of Mew and overly hostile to Top, and asking Mew to give him a chance after Mew has already said many times that they're just friends. He wanted this.
- I'm not saying Mew is innocent, because he's not. They're both aiding in each other's bad behavior.
- What do you mean? They made it very clear that Mew and Ray were dating. Sand and Ray were talking about how Ray's finally exited the friendzone, Sand says "You're seeing someone you've always loved", Ray thanked Mew for giving him a chance, Mew telling Ray that he's the one he should love, just to name a few. Do they need to specifically say "We are dating" to make it any clearer? And then Ray kisses Sand AFTER Mew already kissed him.

I am aware that Mew is using Ray as a rebound, but I'd probably be more sympathetic of Ray if he was 100% devoted to Mew after finally getting a chance from him, but then he keeps messing with Sand and doesn't see how that's wrong.

Let's see. Ray has:
- Continued to drink and use drugs despite multiple people telling him he has an addiction and needs to stop
- Used the Top cheating situation to get what he wants
- Enabling Mew's bad behavior because he doesn't believe it's bad (and doesn't believe his own behavior is bad)
- Despite grilling Top for cheating on Mew, he kisses Sand (which is cheating in my book) and even thinks there's nothing wrong with having feelings for two people and acting on it
- Thinks he can interrupt and control the love life of someone he's not even with

But...NAH! Let's criticize Cheum for getting angry at seeing her friends continue to do stupid shit. 🙄

If Mew HAS to be with anyone, I'd much rather it be Top than Ray, because dear God, this episode! lol

There's no excuse for Top's cheating and he shouldn't have lied about it, but I do think he genuinely fell for Mew a while ago. I think me and a lot of people were just skeptical because he acted very arrogant a lot of the time. But I think him regretting sleeping with Boston almost immediately and completely ignoring the people flirting with him afterwards (episode 5) showed that his focus was on Mew. I'm not saying he deserves a second chance or he's a good person, just that this doesn't feel like it came out of nowhere.

Agreed. The timing was a bit odd, but nothing Cheum said was wrong and Ray needed to hear it.

Ray becomes the biggest asshole of the show when he doesn't have anyone to keep him in check. At this point, I don't think he and Sand should get together romantically, but he does need someone like Sand to stop him from his own destructive behavior that also affects the people around him. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Boston was right. Ray probably didn't actually care that Mew got cheated on, but wanted Mew away from Top because of his possessiveness. He did see this as an opportunity. And now that he got it, he's taking it for granted. He's already cheated on Mew, except unlike Top, he actually has feelings for Sand and doesn't see this as a major issue.

This show is kinda losing me a bit. It's clearly an enemies to lovers story, but I feel like the enemies to lovers phase ended pretty damn abruptly. Kang went from being ready to point a gun at Sailom's face to wanting to do anything he can to help him real fast. And from there, I feel like the story lost its hook. I thought the show would be this gradual process of reforming a bully and maybe running into danger along the way, but now it feels like your run of the mill high school BL drama.

And maybe I'm just too used to Only Friends, but that kiss was pretty awkward. I'm seeing people say it was probably intentionally that way because it's their first real kiss, which could be true, but I have my doubts. I mean, I've personally never seen Chimon in a BL role where his kiss scene wasn't awkward (I thought this might finally be different). And I've already seen my fair share of BLs with awkward kiss scenes from start to finish, simply because the actors didn't seem comfortable doing it. That kind of stuff just takes me out of the story. When I watch BLs (or any piece of entertainment really) I want to watch believable characters, not actors clearly acting.

It's kinda weird how Title's character was in the intro, but Drake's character isn't despite having way more screentime so far.

I'm trying to make sense of Ray lashing out like that. At first I thought it was a combination of alcohol and built up frustration from the people around him lying and being told to keep it to himself. In the bathroom, it seemed like he couldn't bring himself to tell Mew, so maybe he was frustrated at everyone and himself as well, so once he got drunk, he let it all out. But it turns out he DID tell Mew, and it didn't seem like Mew reacted badly to it like calling him a liar or whatever. So why'd he have to go and make things 1000 times worse? It felt just as unnecessary as Boston antagonizing Ray at their hangout, but Boston is an asshole so I expect that from him. Did the alcohol affect Ray that much?

Like a lot of people, Ray and Sand are the only two characters I actually want to work out and Ray is personally the character I feel for the most, at least for now...

Me: Oh wow, we got a nice, feel-good episode for once.
Boston: Oh shit, my bad. Lemme fix that.

Yes yes, Junsung and Sungho are freaking adorable and I'm very happy they got together, but I was mostly wondering how the 2nd love triangle would get resolved because last episode was intense.

I had a feeling HJoon's avoidance tendencies when dealing with competition or something uncomfortable could cause Minsung to lose interest or think he's not interested anymore and then choose HJin instead as a result. But I was not expecting HJoon to just straight up throw in the towel like that. Certainly makes Minsung's choice easy.

Well, I do genuinely hope HJoon and everyone else finds someone they can be happy with. It's not like this show is the end.
