Despite all the criticism I'm seeing on this show, it's still somehow got an 8.3. From all the BLs I've seen, nothing on this site ever gets below a 5 or above an 8.9, so 8.3 is pretty damn good. Not saying that I agree or disagree, it's just weird.

This is how BL fans have been conditioned to regard happy/pleasant endings as unnatural in a gay context. NOTHING…
It was explained though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvaFOufbYV8

And you seem to think I hate happy endings or something. I don't. I'm just not a big fan of this particular ending because it felt tacked on at the last minute. Throughout the show, they kept emphasizing that Choco and Milk's time was limited. The characters and viewers were preparing for it. Milk would tell Choco that they need to help Jungwoo feel happy without them. Jungwoo's ex talked to him about how to handle goodbyes and not let it drag him down. It all led to Jungwoo's decision to let Choco go because he didn't want Choco to disappear from both the living world and afterlife.
So to surprise us at the very end that Choco and Milk can just come back for another 100 days seemingly whenever they want cheapens the significance of what happened before in my opinion. I thought a big point of the show was to help Jungwoo deal with loss and find happiness beyond it. But instead they made Jungwoo this sad person who's completely dependent on Choco and Milk (or maybe just Choco) to be happy.

I was a little worried that in episode 11, they'd shoehorn in a happy ending with little explanation as to how it happened and...that's exactly what happened. But hey, kissing, am I right!?
Even though it would've been sad, episode 10 felt like a more natural ending. Episode 11 felt kinda tacked on.

I don't think the Editor has the guts to out two best-selling writers no matter how pissed he is. As the show…
I mean, at the time, Jung Woo's reputation was already bad. I thought if news got out that he had been ghostwriting for Jung Hyun when Jung Woo himself tried exposing another senior writer for ghostwriting, he'd be seen as a hypocrite and his already bad reputation would get even worse. And of course, Jung Hyun's reputation would tank too. That's why I'm wondering how they could salvage such a situation. How did everything just turn out dandy in the end? Would the director gain anything by keeping his mouth shut? Would he lose anything for blabbing?

There's something really sad about seeing a character just unceremoniously disappear forever with no chance of coming back. I've always found stuff like that way sadder than those death scenes where someone's bleeding out on the ground, but they have enough strength to tell their whole life story before they finally die. 😂

Title Happy Ending Romance Spoiler
Okay, I never really found this show boring. I was actually intrigued the whole way through. It did get confusing in places, but it was also satisfying piecing everything together.

However, I am still really confused about the ending. It felt like we got a happy ending out of nowhere. All the revelations and confessions were setting up for a disaster for everyone involved. I don't fully understand how they managed to salvage it. I don't understand why that director guy was willing to publish Jung Woo's writing, but he did mention he'd tell the world about Jung Woo being Jung Hyun's ghostwriter if they didn't strike a deal. So when Jung Woo declined the offer, did that director tell everyone? If so, I have a very hard time believing everything still worked out fine and Jung Woo's book became a best seller. But I also have a hard time believing the director would keep his mouth shut.

Dean and Pharm are so cute together, but we barely ever see them. They're boyfriends already, so a lot must've happened off-screen. Man, these two really deserve their own series. That'd be great. 😏

They HAD to have brought back Ja's UWMA wig as a cheeky joke. It's definitely a joke...right?

Anybody else think Santa's character was a little too happy around Win? He was smiling from ear to ear the entire time and acting like he was hopped up on sugar. It was kinda creepy...

Chompo: "Before we meet, I should confess something. I've been in a wheelchair for 10 years."
Nan: "I...I have a confession too. This isn't my real hair."

Y'know, at first I thought that Nan was a character who'd be constantly going through different phases and trying to imitate new rock artists. I thought he'd have a new look along with a new wig like every other episode. I thought that'd be a fun addition to his character. But no, they're sticking with that one wig like it's his real hair and it's so distracting.

I agree. I think people are being too harsh on Em. I remember what college is like. If he's busy, he's busy, and he's already explained himself and tried to make amends. Name is the one holding a grudge. He should seriously listen to what his mom told him. Plus, they're acting like Em was Name's only friend. What about the rest of the gang? What's stopping them from contacting Name? Why's that responsibility falling only on Em?

I’m a lesbian and I’ve watched porn with friends before. Idk how it is for guys or straight people in general…
I mean I'm sure guys do it too, it's just that I don't. Like just curious, but what do you get out of watching porn with friends? Is it purely for entertainment? Do you poke fun at the scenes? Or do you get genuinely aroused, and if so, what do you do about that without things getting awkward?

Wait, so Team had never seen porn before? Was that his first boner? Has he ever jerked off? He went from that to having sex with another guy in one night? Damn. 0 to 100.

Also, I'll never understand guys getting together to watch porn. I'm a guy and I've never done that, nor will I ever. To me, watching porn is an extremely private experience. Why would I want to get aroused with my platonic friends? 🤨

I don't understand why Gun doesn't want Golf to know he's his penpal. Wouldn't he be happy to know? I thought the initial reason was that Gun had bad acne, but it's cleared up now, so what's the issue?
And why didn't they have English subs for when Name was arguing with his mom? I feel like whatever he said was important.

But Kevin and Pluem (at one point) did not know they died. Maybe the ghost hunters read the news about their deaths.
That's true. I guess I was thinking if Pluem didn't know about it, then maybe the news wasn't big or widespread enough and the family could try and say that the news articles got it wrong. But maybe that would be fighting an uphill battle.

Why is the rating so low,it reminds me of dear doctor I'm coming for soul or something in my room and I have no…
Personally, I love when BLs have a plotline outside of just "two boys meet and fall in love". Of course the romance is an important element, but it doesn't have to be 100% of the show. When it is, they always introduce conflicts revolving around dumb relationship issues that 9 times out of 10 could've been resolved if they just communicated better. If there's another plotline that isn't about romance, then that could be apart of the conflict.
I also like when they try to incorporate supernatural or fantasy elements. They don't always do it well, but I appreciate the effort.

I just finished watching episode 2 and I'm a bit confused. In the beginning, that spirit staff guy explained that in the ghosts' territory, they can choose who can see them or not. So when the spirit hunters came and trespassed on their property, couldn't the family have just shown themselves, acted like normal living beings, and told them to leave because they're trespassing? They could convince Kevin and Pluem that they're all alive, could they not convince the spirit hunters?

Finally it's over! This show really went from "Slow, but kinda cute" to "Still slow, but I like RainPhayu" to "Oh! Something exciting!" to "They ruined it. Now NOTHING is happening" to "PLEASE! Just end already!".
