It didn't happen 😭😭. Hwa Yeong got arrested and Team Jang Mi scored a major win lol. Maybe something will change next week 🙏🏾.
This is why many revenge shows have the avenger disappear for a few years and come back different and having gained new skills- with their sole goal being revenge. Jang Mi needed that kind of time because she is just too weak and simple.

I guess this episode is the calm before the storm. I think Hwa Yeong will be out by the end of tomorrow's episode- that will prevent Jang Mi from telling her Grandpa. The video only shows Hwa Yeong pushing Bok Gil but cannot confirm that she took him to the spot where he died. On top of that, the autopsy said that he died from head trauma caused by being run over by a car. So if Manager Lee's henchman confesses, the detective will be forced to release Hwa Yeong and arrest him. It would be even better if Manager Lee gives him the murder weapon which he buried in the mountains. So Hwa Yeong will be exonerated and she will return to her home and to being CEO, while company's stock price stabilizes. This is why the flash drive is important. It's a confession.

It is not surprising that Baek Ho is adopted- if parents adopt one, they might have adopted the other. That will definitely counter Jun Ho's argument that birth children are treated better. The reveal will be a major shock for Jun Ho- both brothers, in fact. I think the writers were unsure whether they wanted to make Baek Ho adopted or not, because Yeong Ja kept on remarking about how much Baek Ho looked like Nam Bong, and father and son are really alike. That being said- are Baek Ho's birth parents important to the story? If he was the same age as the twins, I would guess that he is the child that Hwa Yeong gave birth to, that died. Maybe he didn't die and Manager Lee could have taken the child and given him up for adoption. That would make Jun Ho and Baek Ho blood brothers. Kdrama dailies are notorious for rewriting history and changing the ages of their characters, so it's possible. But who would Baek Ho's bio-dad be- Manager Lee or the twins' bio-dad? More than likely the former because kdramas steer clear of incest. If Hwa Yeong tries to kill Baek Ho and it turns out that he is her son- she would have tried to kill her own son- so messy. Only time will tell.

In the meantime, I look forward to Hwa Yeong's triumphant return. The dialogue between Hwa Yeong and Jang Mi set the tone for the remaining 40 episodes. Hwa Yeong was right to say that Jang Mi has only had one win😂. Things are about to get messy - I hope.

Jang Mi's is not very perceptive. Did she not notice the look that Hwa Yeong gave her during her arrest in the previous episode, and the look that Manager Lee gave her in today's episode? Those were looks of, "I know who you really are"😂😂😂. Oh Jang Mi (is this why the writers gave her "Oh" for a surname- because they knew we would be saying, "oh", whenever we refer to her?😂😂😂), you make it so hard to root for you🤦‍♀️.

I am glad that Nam Bong and Yeong Ja mentioned that Jun Ho has some demons that he still fighting. They are very much aware of the deep wounds in his heart and are sensitive to that ❤.

😂😂😂😂 I am still holding out hope that the writers can turn things around in the last 40 episodes. Maybe Seo Rin can save us and be who we wanted Jang Mi to be. Will hang on for the remaining two months.

I can't believe the writers actually gave Team Jang Mi a break this week- they think they have defeated Hwa Yeong and are on cloud 9- plotting other silly schemes. My first time seeing a revenge drama where the avengers have a break before the end. I guess the writers are trying to make the script as unpredictable as possible. Or give a devastating ending

😂😂I just don't think we have seen Hwa Yeong walking around the Ma household for the last time. 40 episodes is just too many episodes to have her as a fugitive, plus the flash drive will be the nail in her coffin. She still has much more to do as free woman. And if she is not around, Hong Ju and San Wol will hardly have anything to do.

And if Jun Ho's Dad does show up, he can do much more harm to Hwa Yeong if she is a free woman as opposed to her being a fugitive. She needs to be back on her throne so he can find her.

This was before her accident.

I am really enjoying this one so far- I know it's only 6 episodes but it has depth and characters who are deeply scarred from tragedies early on in their lives. So I look forward to watching them heal. I already dislike Min Ho and I hope the writers keep him single in the end. He is not worthy of the 2FL.
I am enjoying this show far more than The First Man. I can't even say I am enjoying The First Man, any more, to be honest. I am just finishing what I started 😂.

It is strange given how quickly things are found out through eavesdropping😂.
Either Grandpa finally collapses when he hears and will be incapacitated for a while OR they will get shocking news about Hwa Yeong's case OR Jang Mi will get a call that Seo Rin is awake OR Grandpa will be fine and will ask her to continue impersonating Seo Rin until Seo Rin wakes up and is fit to return to work. That might piss off Seo Rin. Grandpa will not want to affect the stock price with such a reveal.

If Grandpa collapses, there will be a huge power vacuum in the company, with both the CEO and Chairman gone. Both Jang Mi and Seo Rin do not yet have the skills to lead the company. So Grandpa collapsing is highly unlikely. He has also been busy doing some things in the background so he needs to stick around.

Whatever happens, Jang Mi impersonation of Seo Rin will not end here, like she wants it to.

So this is break week for Team Jang Mi. I guess something explosive will happen by Friday- probably Hwa Yeong's release.

There are newspaper articles about when he went missing. He is presumed to be dead. When Suk Hee went to the house while she was still pregnant, she heard the workers say that the authorities had given up on looking for his body. That's why Suk Hee did not go into the house.

Seo Rin is such sad case. They have all but abandoned her in that hospital. They only visit when the nurse calls. Ever since she was moved, Suk Hee hardly mentions Tok Hee. Seo Rin at least deserves to have someone familiar to her at her side- her grandfather- that might help her to come around quicker. I get that Jang Mi is worried about his health but she is also denying him access to the granddaughter he loves so dearly, whom he raised. But it will be heartbreaking for him to realise that he could not tell them apart.

So I would welcome some sibling fighting. Given Seo Rin's personality, I can already imagine her knocking out Jang Mi and pretending to be her in front of Baek Ho so she can steal some kisses 😂😂😂.

Honestly, that eye thing was really dumb- and she was so proud of herself because she believed she had accomplished something great . Her many small victories have made her overconfident.

I was about to ask the same about the bandages- maybe the writers forgot.
But since the bandages have reappeared, it means they are important for Seo Rin's story. Her face is really badly injured.

And if the twins do fight, we will get to see from Seo Rin what we have been desperately wanting to see from Jang Mi. The FL is far too good an actress to waste her on a character like Jang Mi.

If Hwa Yeong can use Seo Rin as a weapon against her family- she might not need to try to kill anyone else. Using one's blood against them is a great revenge tactic. with devastating consequences.
Since Jun Ho has started getting curious about Jang Mi- maybe he will follow Baek Ho to the hospital and find Seo Rin. Then he will tell Hwa Yeong where she is. Or maybe Hwa Yeong will ask him to find Seo Rin for her.

😂😂😂 we can only root for Hwa Yeong at this point because the good guys are not showing any signs of changing, especially in light of this major win. Looks like Jang Mi will be the same until the end🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.

I can't believe she was really arrested- certainly not an outcome I foresaw this early in the show. I am disappointed. But giving Team Jang Mi such a major victory now means the consequences of Hwa Yeong's revenge will be great.
Since they have shown us Hwa Yeong in jail now, it makes me think that the show will end with her dying, maybe to protect Jun Ho or something.

Regarding Jun Ho, I still don't see a good motive for him to become a villain. He never had any power in Dream Group and with Hwa Yeong's arrest, the marriage is definitely off the table. So Dream Group is an unachievable dream at this point. How will Hwa Yeong persuade him go against his brother and his girlfriend, disappointing his parents in the process? It might have been different if she had raised him and they were working together to get Dream. But if this is a direction that the writers want to go in, it will be interesting to see how they do so. Also, after Hwa Yeong retaliates, the greatest tool Jang Mi can use in the next phase of her revenge will be Hwa Yeong's Achilles' Heel, Jun Ho. It willl be hard to use him if he is a villain.

Seo Rin, on the other hand, is a different story- it would be shocking and exciting to see her side with Hwa Yeong, her mother of 30 years. She could wake up to find Jang Mi living her life, being doted on by their Grandpa, working at her job, having her other family too, and having a loving boyfriend. The same boyfriend whom she will remember held her hand earlier and cleaned her while she was still unconscious. On top of that, Jun Ho has fallen for Jang Mi. Even Ahjumma likes Jang Mi 😂😂. So all this is a great foundation for jealousy and resentment. Hwa Yeong can fuel this by telling her that Jang Mi has stolen her life. Since Hwa Yeong raised her, she knows exactly what buttons to push.
Whoever is at Seo Rin's side when she wakes up, will have a huge upper hand. If the writers had more time, they could have had Seo Rin have plastic surgery to make things more intriguing.

It will be interesting to see where things go from here. I can't wait to see what Hwa Yeong will do next.

The USB also has information about where the murder weapon is hidden. So all of the evidence on the USB is crucial to convicting Hwa Yeong- without it, she might walk. Right now, her lawyers can argue self defence because Bok Gil lunged at her. The memory card footage does not seem to show them lifting his body and putting him in the trunk of the car. Unless there is more footage that they have not shown us yet. The phone will be difficult evidence to explain away because Bok Gil called Jang Mi later that evening, so it proves that Hwa Yeong was with him.

Maybe Hwa Yeong's corrupt cop friend will get rid of the evidence and Hwa Yeong will be home just in time to prevent Jang Mi from revealing the truth about the twins to Grandpa. Or they can say it's AI😂😂. Also, the evidence was found without a search warrant so it might not be admissible. Lawyer Baek Ho knows that. The writers can use any route to release Hwa Yeong.

Jang Mi is in serious trouble now- Hwa Yeong knows she has been impersonating Seo Rin and now she made sure that Jun Ho saw her getting arrested- one of Hwa Yeong's greatest fears. She told Manager Lee that she is worried about what Jun Ho would think of her when he found out about all her crimes. He assured her that that will never happen. So Hwa Yeong will be out for blood. A lot of pain might be coming Jang Mi's way. Hwa Yeong mentioned her niece last time- I will not be surprised if she tries to burn down the side dish store and their apartment so she can kill off the entire family. The writers wanted to really enrage Hwa Yeong this time. Recently, Jang Mi has been saying repeatedly that she will take Hwa Yeong to the abyss. Maybe the writers are just trying to get us to that point.

I hope Hwa Yeong will realise that Jang Mi might know about Jun Ho because how else would she know about the password to the safe? That will add an interesting layer to their rivalry.

I hope San Wol and Hong Ju find the evidence soon so they can blackmail Hwa Yeong. They need the upper hand and they now know enough information to understand what the evidence on the flash is really about. They would not have been able to utilize the evidence fully before, when they didn't know about the twins and Suk Hee.

Another interest plot would be when Seo Rin wakes up, she is supportive of Hwa Yeong and is resentful towards Jang Mi for living her life. Additionally, Jun Ho likes Jang Mi, and not her, so that will add to the resentment. Seo Rin could become villainous and do Hwa Yeong's bidding and work against Jang Mi for a couple of episodes. Twins at odds would be interesting. Since it looks like we will not be getting any character growth from Jang Mi, maybe we can get it from Seo Rin.

That is an option but even ìf Hwa Yeong were to coach him from behind bars- there is no way he can get Dream Group. If she is really arrested, she will lose all support from her shareholders so the company is gone. Jang Mi will never agree to marry him, either. So there is no real foundation for him to turn. I doubt the twin switch will be revealed this early.

I also don’t see Hwa Yeong sitting behind bars for 40 more episodes and becoming a secondary character- the show is about her.

Maybe it's a dream. Maybe things did not turn out the way they did in the episode and someone is dreaming, after the fact, about how they wanted things to turn out 🤷‍♀️. It is also really 'convenient' to have Jun Ho present at Hwa Yeong's arrest. Maybe Hwa Yeong is the one who is dreaming.
