Yeah- unfortunately, Jang Mi is just not that strategic or vengeful- she will always play on the good side. All she knows to do is to make empty threats to make Hwa Yeong suffer 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️.
How does she intend to make Hwa Yeong lose Jun Ho for good?

If she did not have an emotional connection to Baek Ho, she might not have had a problem with using Jun Ho. But because Jun Ho is Baek Ho's brother- it complicates things. She cannot knowingly hurt her future brother-in-law. If Jun Ho were not related to Baek Ho and his parents, it might have been easier to use the leverage.

Hwa Young is the one who ended up injuring Jun Ho? Looks like it ended having a great result because the Chairman has finally come around about Jun Ho for saving 'Seo Rin's life. I wonder how Jang Mi will tackle this- she can just say she does not want to marry him, anymore. This seems to come at a time when Jang Mi asks Jun Ho to stop pursuing her- in front of Baek Ho- maybe that will get Jun Ho to stop.
Is the Chairman going to give Jun Ho shares in the company too?

I liked the scene where Hwa Yeong was basically kicked out of Jun Ho's room because she is not his family and Yeong Ja stayed because she is his Mom😂😂. Hwa Yeong was quite upset because she is his mom too. I wish we had more scenes like this- we need a showdown between the moms.

I hope Manager Lee gets out with Seo Rin- Hwa Yeong needs a win. Maybe Seo Rin will wake up while in the wheelchair lol. From what I gathered, she was quite fond of Manager Lee in the past so she might still opt to go with him.
Maybe we will have a fight between Manager Lee and Tae Pyung. Maybe Tae Pyung served in the special forces too 😂😂😂. Or Hong Ju and San Wol will distract Tae Pyung while Manager Lee escapes.

Is Eun Ae the Chairman's wife's granddaughter? She was widowed, with a child, when she met the Chairman. That would make Min Ho and Eun Ae cousins🤔.

The character chart shows a link between the Chairman's wife and Eun Ae's Mom. So is Eun Ae's Mom the Chairman's wife's long lost daughter? I guess we know where the 20% of shares will go.

🤣🤣 it does seem that way but I'm sure he shares an office with others. The break room is more private for them, or so they think🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ . Only almost all the employees use it 😂😂😂. Does Jangi Mi even do any work?- if she's not on the phone talking to Baek Ho, she's in the break room flirting with him😭.

Yes- still so much ground to cover- this is why it's surprising that the writers spend so much time on unnecessary things. They can use the time to develop other storylines further.

If this is the writer's MO, then there is no hope of character growth for JangMi😭😭😭😭.

Tae Pyung has shown some real character growth- he is fun to watch.
I also like Jun Ho's story with Hwa Yeong but am more invested in Jun Ho healing from all his pain and his character growth. I am hoping he disappoints Hwa Yeong in the end and turns against her.

San Wol and Hong Ju are more of thorns in Hwa Yeong's side and I do feel sorry for them 🤣🤣. But I like them.

I feel Hwa Yeong needs to do more as a villain, and she needs to be sharper.

Baek Ho's adoption may just be used to show Jun Ho that he was not treated any differently from Baek Ho because Baek Ho is not their parents' birth child, either.
So we may never see his birth parents. Or if the writers want to go full makjang on us, they can make him Hwa Yeong's baby, back from the dead lol. They can just change Baek Ho's age to make him the same age as the twins. Such a reveal would cause a lot of drama. Or maybe Jun Ho and Baek Ho share a Dad- one of Hwa Yeong's past lovers. Or maybe the twins and Baek Ho share a Dad😲. Or he could be Nam Bong's bio- son. So many possibilities.

I also think Jun Ho has it in him to be a loving person with integrity- but to get there, he has to first indulge this side of him- this side of his blood, especially now that he has identified his birth mother. He will need to figure out the kind of man he wants to be in the end, but to do that, he has get through this. Finding out that Baek Ho is also adopted will help because he seems to be jealous of Baek Ho being raised by his birth family. But now we know that that is not the case.

The writers are pushing the marriage thing really hard right now because we don't have a lot of episodes left and there are still so many issues that are unresolved. So maybe the marriage talk will be over in the next 5-10 episodes. Also, the push for marriage is meant to show Hwa Yeong that Jun Ho is ambitious and willing to do anything to get what he wants. We still don't know what Jun Ho wants for his future or what his ambitions are. Why did he choose to become a chef etc.? Dream Group is his bio- mother's dream for him and not something he has said he wants for himself. The only thing he is shown to want, is a marriage to the new and improved 'Seo Rin', and his urgency is driven by the fact that 'Seo Rin' and Baek Ho are falling for each other. He does not want to lose her to Baek Ho- especially to someone who already has a girlfriend. Plus, Jang Mi is very likely the first woman he has ever liked. So because Jun Ho has displayed this ambition, Hwa Yeong now believes, and is convinced, that he will be ambitious enough to take over Dream Group, even if it means changing wives🤣🤣. She told Manager Lee, in the latest episode, that because he is her son, he is ambitious just like her. But as soon as she said that, it was obvious that he is going to disappoint her. Hwa Yeong's plans seldom go according to plan and I think she is overestimating Jun Ho's ambition.

The writers could have made this marriage drama so much worse by having Jun Ho secretly figure out that 'Seo Rin' is actually Jang Mi, and make him continue to insist on marrying her, despite knowing that she is in love with Baek Ho. I am so glad that the writers did not take this route. Instead, they have opted to leave Jun Ho in the dark about everything except the fact that Hwa Yeong gave birth to him. I think this will allow his character to grow in the end. He is at a crossroad- with Hwa Yeong on one side, and his family on the other. Right now, Hwa Yeong is winning, especially because he thinks she owes him, but I think he will return to his family in the end, when the truth about Hwa Yeong comes to light. He is just not ready to hear the truth right now- he wants to believe in her so badly.

It's not just you- Jang Mi is not doing much for the revenge- she relies heavily on Baek Ho and Tae Pyung and cannot seem to make any decisions on her own. She first needs to plan with Baek Ho. The only time she ever really had clever ideas, and agency, was during the first week after the accident- when she only had herself to rely on. This show is a really weak revenge drama.

While Hong Ju was described as potential villainess, the writers had different plans for her. She and her Mom are more greedy than ambitious, but even then, they are not willing to take extreme measures to feed their greed. They are also not very bright😂.

Regarding Baek Ho's adoption- it was a bit of a surprise but they did hint at it earlier on when Baek Ho playfully asked his Mom if he was adopted and she seemed flustered. After that, the writers tried to fool us by having Yeong Ja frequently mention how much Baek Ho looked and behaved like Nam Bong, and father and son are similar in a lot of ways.

Tae Sook's daughter- in the latest episode, she was crying when Tae Sook brought her home. Then Jang Mi called and Tae Sook told her the other kids were making fun of her because of her Grandma.

😂😂 maybe they are trying to get Bo Ra to run away from home so they can kidnap her and use her force Jang Mi to get married or to return the 1% share.

What are the odds that Hwa Yeong is responsible for the other kids making fun of Bo Ra at school?🤔 That was such a random scene.

😂😂😂😂 I actually like that interpretation about focusing on no.1- yourself. It actually makes more sense than saying that the First Man is Baek Ho because he has done nothing to deserve a title mention. The show is not even about him- it's about Hwa Yeong and Jang Mi. They could have called it, "The Parent Trap- Korean version" 😂😂. Or simply, "Hwa Yeong".

The dragging does not make any sense because they have laid foundations for good storylines- and yet it seems like they have run out of ideas. The arrest was a big mistake. If things continue like this, the next 40 episodes will be torture.

And we still don't know why the show is called First Man 🙆🏾‍♀️😂.

Yes- the writers are really ruining the show- they are even making Hwa Yeong less intelligent. And regarding the marriage- Jang Mi can end it so easily- she can tell Jun Ho that she knows that he is adopted and that Hwa Yeong is his bio-Mom- and blackmail him into cancelling the wedding. Such an easy solution.
It seems she just wants to strategise with Baek Ho first, and can no longer think for herself. But since she wants to keep this information a secret from Baek Ho, she needs to figure out how to use it to her advantage, on her own. And from her eavesdropping, she knows that Hwa Yeong is lying to Jun Ho about her crimes. She has so much ammunition at her fingertips but cannot use it🤦🏾‍♀️ .

Maybe Seo Rin will wake up next week since Tae Pyung is shown visiting her. I hope Hong Ju follows him 😂.

And why isn't Jun Ho curious about finding Jang Mi- both Hwa Yeong and Baek Ho don't want him to meet with her and I am sure he heard Hwa Yeong call 'Seo Rin', "Jang Mi" when Jang Mi wore those glasses. Jang Mi even asked why she was calling her Jang Mi. There is no way that he did not hear all that- the car door was open. The average person would have been really curious by now, and Jun Ho is not dumb.

In the next episode, Hong Ju is going to ask Baek Ho what we have all been asking- why are they keeping the twins a secret 😂😂😂. It looks like Baek Ho is about to lie and say that they are not twins 😂😂😂.
It just does not make any sense.

Hong Ju could be an asset to Team Jang Mi- they just need to give her enough incentive.

Yeah- but I am still on the fence about who Hyun Jun's Dad is- I doubt any of them did a DNA test- even Tae Ho, surprisingly. I think Geun Tae is so simple-minded that he just assumes that he is the father. Jeong Ran seems to have slept with both of them, around the same time. I don't think she dared to take a DNA test because ignorance is bliss. And she would never be dumb enough to tell Geun Tae that he is the Dad, even if he is. It's why she continually refers to Hyun Jun as her son- that is the only thing she knows for sure- he is hers.

It would be great if Hyun Jun is a willing participant in Chloe's scheme.
Hyun Jun and Chloe are the type to just get their marriage registered without telling anyone and then surprise everyone.
I hope Hyun Jun won't die- but he has a lot of trauma ahead after he learns that his Mom killed his brother's bio-Mom and that his Dad killed Chloe's Dad.

Yes- the boy from Myung Hui's past would be a great ally to Dan Hui. There is an actor in the cast list whose role is unknown so far. Maybe he could the the adult version of that boy: Baek Sung Hyun. He was one of the leads in Su Ji & U Ri with Ham Eun Jung. Hopefully, the writers won't give him a small role since he was a lead in another show.

The parents will only be revealed if they are needed for the plot- if not, they will remain unknowns.
But if they are going for the makjang factor- his Mom might be Hwa Yeong too- they can just change his age to make him the same age as the twins and he will be Hwa Yeong's dead baby who will turn out to have never died in the first place. Or Manager Lee could have bribed the doctor to lie to Hwa Yeong while he took the baby to an orphanage.

Or Jun Ho's bio-dad could be Baek Ho's bio-dad. He might have had another child with another woman, years later.

Worst case- the twin's bio-Dad could be Baek Ho's Dad- we don't know anything about their Dad before his relationship with Suk Hee- he could have got some girl pregnant a few years before. But incest is a big no in kdramas, so unlikely.

Or maybe Baek Ho is Nam Bong's child from a previous relationship. Baek Ho's bio-Mom could have had him and didn't tell Nam Bong, then Nam Bong ended up adopting him by some twist of fate.

So many possibilities.

😂😂 Jang Mi is an enormous disappointment 🚮. She was supposed to be like Chloe- willing to make sacrifices and shed her identity as Jang Mi, even letting go of love. That's why avengers need to go away for a few years, so they can come back purely focussed on revenge.

Anyway, do you think Chloe will actually marry Hyun Jun? A part of me is hoping that if they do get married, she will end up falling in love with him for real and she will have to work hard to convince him that her feelings are genuine. But this is highly unlikely. Maybe none of the brothers should get her and they should introduce a new love interest for Chloe. Maybe that little boy who was living with his Grandma, whom Myung Hui used to treat before she died🤔. I hope he makes a reappearance.
