There will be a funeral in the next episode. So it's confirmed. We are just brainstorming ways to keep him alive- mostly through a fake death. If the writers wanted to do that, they could.
Like how the FL's death was faked in Queen's House. There was a funeral and everything.

Me too 😭😭😭. That would be exceptional writing from the writers and we already know that he has his own agenda. He is not blindly following Mi Ran.
We'll see if they show his body in the next episode or if they just skip to the funeral.
But Mi Ran's injections are too lethal 😪 so I will not hold my breath.

Eun Seol and Seok Jin are a terrible endgame- I hope the writers just leave Eun Seol single. Seok Jin can stay married to Hae Ra, if Hae Ra is alive at the end.

In another world, Eun Seol would have followed Hyeon Jae or Secretary Choi would have messaged Eun Seol to tell her where to find Hyeon Jae. She would have taken him to a hospital and faked his death. But I think Mi Ran's injections are lethal and fast acting so I don't think he survived 😭😭😭.

Or who knows, maybe Secretary Choi took Hyeon Jae to the hospital and faked his death. I think he would have the means to do so. That could mark the beginning of his redemption arc. The unexpected player in the game.

Incredibly brutal. I guess Mi Ran will be having a few more wins, at least over the next 10 episodes before some things start catching up to her.

Last week when I said that I hope something big happens for Team Eun Seol this week- this is not the outcome I envisioned 😭. Losing a whole character- the best one 😭😭.

The writers better make her demise so sweet. It needs to satisfy this heartbreak we feel.

For a minute, I thought Grandma might get killed accidentally, instead. Because she has been collecting articles about Eun Seol, which is uncharacteristic of her. Is she the one who put that album together?

💯💯 I need time to grieve Hyeon Jae- am just seated here, still in shock. The writers were determined to kill him off- going to Mi Ran was very uncharacteristic, especially after he told himself to be careful because she is unpredictable. And how many times did he have Eun Seol's ear? He could have told her.

This is all anticlimactic. Am not even excited to see what's next but I want to see Mi Ran (and Choi) go down. They better make the revenge really good. Maybe Hae Ra can inject herself with one of Mi Ran's syringes in the end, in front of her. Or Mi Ran can accidentally kill her. I hope Mi Ran won't kill herself in the end. She needs to suffer.

I guess more screen time for Seok Jin now🤦‍♂️.

I wonder if this will be Mi Ran's last murder. With this show, anything is possible.

That was heartbreaking. RIP Hyeon Jae- I really didn't think they would kill him off because he's a second lead. Secretary Choi is also a murderer now- well kinda. Mi Ran finished him off. I, like, Hyeon Jae, really underestimated Mi Ran. The best revenge will be for Hae Ra to die and for Mi Ran to go to jail. Hae Ra will be devastated to learn that her bio-mother is a murderer.

I hope Hyeon Jae was wise enough to leave Eun Seol some clues.

So this means Eun Seol and Seok Jin will likely be endgame. Am really not a fan of that pairing, at all.

I had hoped that Eun Seol would have followed Hyeon Jae because he was acting shady.

Am so heartbroken over Hyeon Jae😪- I really liked him. But as much as I was in denial, the writers planted seeds- the final conversations he was having with people- mainly talking about being Eun Seol's fan and him assuring his sister in the last episode. And today, he had a huge blow up with his sister which felt like it could be their last conversation together- and it was😭. Poor Teun Teun.

I hope Hyeon Jae's cop friend will realise what happened and at least reach out to Eun Seol. He is obviously scared of Mi Ran and Secretary Choi.

On a side note- why is Eun Guk opening other people's messages?

But the second wave of the revenge had to start, somehow. For now, the murder of Eun Seol's Mom is the perfect crime and Eun Seol accepted that Manager Na did it so she needs a reason to re-investigate. Hyeon Jae could have told her but knowing Eun Seol's temper, she would have just confronted Mi Ran too and she would have been murdered too. This way, she when finds out, she will know how high the stakes are and she will investigate quietly.

Hae Ra seeing Mi Ran leave was interesting. Is this something Hae Ra will mention in the future, in passing?

How is Jeong Seon still alive if Mi Ran can inject and kill people so easily? She could have just made Yeong Hun a widower and married him. Well, I guess she still can..

I don't think Mi Ran plans to kill him but to get him in line by threatening him and his family. All this is just a plot device to get Mi Ran to pretend to be Eun Seol's Mom, like you predicted in the beginning.

That is what makjang is all about, I'm afraid. Making the implausible plausible and doing things just to move the script along.

Ok- having watched with subs, I can breathe a little better. Mi Ran is not planning to murder Hyeon Jae, just yet, but to scare him and his family. But looks like Secretary Choi might take it too far. In the preview, Mi Ran asks if Hyeon Jae knows who she and Eun Seol are to each other. So all this is just to get Mi Ran to play mommy to Eun Seol for a while. And Jeong Sun's DNA is
readily available so a
DNA test is easy to fake.
I thought something really dramatic would need to happen to force Mi Ran to play Eun Seol's Mom- this seems anticlimactic because I think she will ask them to keep it between the three of them so no one else can know. That will suck- I want Yeong Hun, Jeong Seon and Hae Ra to know so Hae Ra can flip out 😂😂😂.

Mi Ran's ex will likely be the one to spot the lie.

Mi Ran can easily fake a DNA test. Plus she can just get a hair sample from Jeong Sun and pass it off as hers. Or take her toothbrush.

Having watched with subs, I don't think Mi Ran plans to kill him, but to scare him. She even says that he has a sister and nephew and tells Secretary Choi to scare them a bit . The problem is Secretary Choi tends to go a little too far with his assignments.

Then Mi Ran is planning to play the birth mom card. This will be such an easy lie for her to pull off since she lives with Jeong Seon.
She also claims that Manager Na fabricated the evidence.

So Hyeon Jae, unwisely, confronting Mi Ran is just a plot device to get Mi Ran to pretend to be Eun Seol's birth mom, in private. And to, eventually, reveal all of Mi Ran's misdeeds. If Hyeon Jae had continued investigating privately, he would have eventually got Mi Ran's DNA and tested it against Eun Seol's, thereby learning the truth, prematurely. But having Hyeon Jae approach Mi Ran now, allows Mi Ran to control the birth mom narrative. From this angle, it makes sense that the writers made Hyeon Jae do this- they need Mi Ran to play Eun Seol's Mom for a bit. And when her ex comes sniffing again, Eun Seol is the perfect cover and she can keep Hae Ra hidden, albeit, temporarily.

Secretary Choi feels like a character who will die in the end, after being disillusioned by Mi Ran.

The actor is doing a fantastic job.

🤔So it means she would be opposed to a Seok Jin- Eun Seol pairing when the truth comes out.

She always refers to Seong Woo as her husband- I think it's just her norm.

A coma is better than
dead. Is he the one who
was being beaten up? I was thinking it might be Eun Guk or someone close to serve as a warning to Hyeon Jae.

The problem with taking Hyeon Jae out of the story, even temporarily, will mean that Eun Seol will be outnumbered. No one else can help her- Seok Jin is occupied with his own story and their enemies are different- their paths will coincidence in the future, though, because Mi Ran will try to sabotage any of Seok Jin's revenge plans. It will benefit her to protect Yeong Hun.

So who knows where the writer is going with this. Maybe this will force Hyeon Jae to think outside the box and to investigate Mi Ran even more thoroughly. Because Mi Ran's misdeeds are far worse than he could ever imagine. Maybe this will lead him and Eun Seol to the ex.

Hopefully, he tells Eun Seol soon because he is acting far too suspicious. And why do they talk in the office- they have a whole house where they can scheme.

Why does Mi Ran seem to assume that Hyeon Jae has not told Eun Seol anything? Shouldn't she be even more wary of Eun Seol, especially after the interview incident?

Is Hyeon Jae long for this world? 😭😭😭 I am really scared for him. He is making the same mistakes that Mi Ran is making. Why did he confront her with the evidence? What's his plan? He had the upper hand🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.
That evidence could have helped with Eun Seol's case.
He doing the same thing Eun Seol's Mom did🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. He should learn to be stealthy like Eun Seol.

When he was having beer with his sister, I kept wondering if the writers are getting ready for his exit😭😭. So nervous. And who is Secretary Choi having beaten up in the episode?

Hyeon Jae needs to tell Eun Seol everything, asap.

Mi Ran is starting to wonder whether Hae Ra was right and something is going on between Secretary Choi and Eun Seol. It's not something a few threats can't fix😂😂😂.

Why is Seok Jin getting in Eun Seol's face again?
