I watched another show where something similar happened to a mother- she had the mind of a child. She never came back to her senses in the end.
Even's Queen's House- the SML's brother never came back to his senses.

Exactly- she visits Baek Ho's office a lot and I am surprised Hwa Yeong has not noticed her frequent absence. She is now comfortable knowing that Baek Ho and Tae Pyeong are helping her so she forgets that she is actually in a war and has to pretend to be someone else.

At this point, the only way to get her to want to up her game is if something tragic happens again or if she finds out about Jun Ho. But even with finding out about Jun Ho, with her current frame of mind, she won't know how to use the information to her benefit. She needs to get back in the driver's seat of her revenge journey. Otherwise, there is no real revenge happening here, just a case of twins swapping lives and trying to fool their parents.

I am starting to fear for Suk Hee's life. Reuniting with her Mom now seems a bit early and out of place. Almost feels like a goodbye.

Lol- I am guessing Baek Ho has a secret talent of playing the violin and will save the day, yet again 😂😂😂😂.

Maybe he wants a double pay day? But the car that was there that afternoon was not Director Kim's. He must have parked his car after the other car left. And since they turned off the cameras that day, they have no way of knowing that another car was parked there during the incident.

There is another director's son whom Hwa Yeong is looking for to get his shares in the company. Could it be him?

Is Jang Mi about to get hair cut? Hwa Yeong asked her when she is going to the salon.

Jang Mi is really impatient and needs to try harder to control her emotions. She is being too forceful with the way she keeps interrogating Hwa Yeong. Hwa Yeong is already suspicious of her.

Why did Hwa Yeong say that 'Jang Mi' is awake? Was she just making an assumption? Since she suspects Jang Mi of blackmailing her, it means that she suspects that Jang Mi knows something, meaning her life might be in danger again.

Poor Seo Rin- it does not look like anyone is visiting her in the hospital since they know she is not Jang Mi. She has just been abandoned there.

Is Hong Ju over her crush on Baek Ho? Along with the new hairstyle, she is dressing more maturely. She has not mentioned him in a few episodes.

Could he be the blackmailer? Or maybe the blackmailer sent the video to him. Whoever the person is, they are an executive at the company.

The revelation will hit him really hard. Hwa Yeong insists she did this all for him but really it's her own selfish ambition. I think his story will be about him healing and finally finding his identity. He still carries deep emotional scars because he was abandoned and even though he was adopted into a loving family, that still weighs heavily on him and his self-worth. Finally meeting his bio-Mom will help him to heal after he realises the kind of person that she really is and he might even be grateful that she abandoned him. He will have to realise that he is not responsible for Hwa Yeong's actions and will likely cut all ties with her, and finally fully embrace his adoptive family. He still keeps them at a distance. I really hope Yeong Ja will be heavily involved in this part of the story- she has to fight for her son. Seeing the two mothers fight will be interesting.

Jun Ho abandoning Hwa Yeong is what will truly break her.

Jun Ho's ambition might just be about getting to the top so he can show his bio-parents that he was worthy of not being abandoned.

Indeed- back to square one- she has been sneaking around just fine, without getting caught over the last two weeks and suddenly, she needs saving again. That's why I really enjoyed her time alone when no one knew her identity- she showed some growth and independence. It will be a shame if the writers regress her to being a damsel in distress again. Does Baek Ho really have nothing better to do than save Jang Mi?- he needs his own story.

Seo Rin's fate is really up in the air. If she is an amnesiac, she cannot do much to progress the story and it's also too soon for her to participate. So we might not see much of her when she is awake. She will likely be confined to the side dish store for her own safety. Maybe the story will focus on her personal growth and maturity, while spending time with her bio-Mom. And/or finding unexpected love, if we are to go by the synopsis.

It's a crazy good show - firing on all cylinders. The villains are doing proper villains things. I will enjoy watching the downfall of Park Tae Ho, his wife and Yu Na and her family.

Ihwachae is a fun and mysterious addition- its owner will become a great ally for Dan Hui, I'm sure.

I also noticed Kang Hyuk's look- he is clearly not on board with Hwa Yeong's plan. Everything he has done is for her and not for her son. They will definitely be at odds at some point and Jun Ho's life might end up being in danger. She might have to save Jun Ho from Kang Hyuk.

I would not be surprised if it turns out that Kang Hyuk is working with the blackmailer. Or if he took the son that Hwa Yeong lost 30 years ago, and gave him up for adoption. He could have told the doctor to tell her that the baby was dead. That would be a fun twist.

Yeah. She deserves her place at the top of the triangle in the picture. The size of her pic is even bigger than everyone else's.

I don’t think Tae Pyung is the one who made the delivery. They were wearing different shoes. The writers are just trying to throw us off.

Jang Mi is not serious about the revenge. She would rather abandon the revenge than break up.
So this is more of a soft or light revenge drama, which is heavy on the romance.

Real revenge is in Pearl in Red right now. The way Jin Ju just left Min Jun crying like that and she did not care. All she could think about was how she lost her Dad. She is serious about revenge. Whereas Jang Mi lost her Dad, her Mom was attacked and regressed mentally, her twin sister was kidnapped, they were both hit by a truck, leaving her sister comatose, she experienced multiple murder attempts, and was almost kidnapped. But that is not enough to make her lose herself to revenge.

I have a bone to pick with the promotional video for this 'soft' revenge drama. The video made Jang Mi out to be someone who was willing to become villainous to get her revenge- she is shown to have a darker persona, along with Baek Ho. Jang Mi even appeared to already have a plan which she invited Baek Ho to join. BUT what we actually got is a Jang Mi who struggles to keep her emotions in check and who is really just fumbling around and playing little tricks on Hwa Yeong, which she has managed to bounce back from, quite easily. On top of that, Jang Mi was ready to abandon her revenge plans because she feared losing her love interest- like that was more important than avenging her parents and Seo Rin. And then, she was accidentally discovered by Baek Ho. I would have preferred for her to look for him on her own, and on her own terms, but she is simply not that kind of a character. She is too soft-hearted for revenge- she might even end up forgiving Hwa Yeong at the end of this. That is why the writers have introduced a character who is serious about revenge and it's a brilliant move. They have once again shown us that this show really is about Hwa Yeong. It's her world and everyone just lives in it. She has turned out to be quite a formidable and complicated villain, proving once again, that a show is only as good as its villain. And good, she is.

All this to say that I do not think we will be seeing the version of Jang Mi that is portrayed in the promotional video. And I guess we will revert back to Baek Ho saving Jang Mi every time she is in danger. I really did enjoy watching Jang Mi doing things on her own, thinking for herself and saving herself. She grew up a lot- hopefully, she won't regress now that she has help.

So Jang Mi left her second phone on, not on silent, not password protected, and in an unlocked drawer 😂😂.

I am so glad she told Tae Pyung too. I was hoping the family would know- a very good move. It will help him to understand Suk Hee better and give him purpose. He cannot just be busy with the side dish store all day for 60 more episodes. It will also help Seo Rin’s recovery when they have to bring her home. If she is amnesiac, they won’t confuse her much by always calling her Jang Mi. But they would need to be careful too, in case Hwa Yeong hears her being called, 'Seo Rin'. Telling Tae Pyung also makes things less awkward for Baek Ho who visits regularly.

But I wonder…..could Tae Pyung end up falling in love with Seo Rin while taking care
of her? He has no love interest on the horizon
and Seo Rin was never his sister…….., even
though she is the spitting image of his sister and is his Mother’s daughter…it would be weird but not impossible. Unless he falls for Hong Ju. But he saw her once in the elevator and he didn’t seem interested.

I also wonder whether Seo Rin's face injuries will fully recover. Baek Ho said they are
pretty serious. If the writers ever considered
plastic surgery for Seo Rin, they certainly
have a good reason to do so now. Or the
face injuries could humble Seo Rin a bit by making her insecure about her looks.

Even Hong Ju has a new hairstyle- it's the classic change of hairstyle half way through the show.

Yes, Jun Ho is falling for Jang Mi- he is about to fall hard 🤭. He would have never easily agreed to the invitation to the Ma household before 😂.

I hope San Wol and Hong Ju find the flash first- they can be more of a menace to Hwa Yeong then Hwa Yeong will be blackmailed on two fronts😂😂. Jang Mi will just send Hwa Yeong to jail if she finds the flash- where is the fun in that?😂.

The mystery guy certainly adds a new layer of intrigue which the show needs if it is going to stay interesting for 60 more episodes. Jang Mi and Baek Ho just do not have what it takes to properly execute a good revenge plot. A new variable was definitely needed- really wise of the writers. The mystery man is definitely not Tae Pyung- I looked at their shoes- they have different shoes on.

The new guy is definitely someone Hwa Yeong screwed over- it could be:
1) Jun Ho's bio-dad- if it's him, Hwa Yeong might try to save herself by saying she can get him Dream Group and they might end up working together. OR
2) The twins' bio-dad- but why would he stay away from his daughter for so long? OR
3) By makjang standards, the baby that Hwa Yeong lost actually survived and was taken by the doctor. She did go to a dodgy hospital. And the kid believes she abandoned him for the Ma family.
So many exciting possibilities.

The guy had a picture of the Ma famly- Seo Rin/Jang Mi's life might be in danger especially if he tries to get to Hwa Yeong by harming her daughter. Jun Ho's life could be in danger too if he finds out his parentage.

They need evidence that can put away Hwa Yeong for good. Since we are only half way through the show and have 59 episodes left, I doubt they will find it any time soon. The marriage will be Jang Mi's last desperate attempt to get revenge on Hwa Yeong while they continue to look for evidence, especially if Seo Rin has amnesia.

I think the writers love making Baek Ho cry. He will be crying a lot in the future 😂😂😂.

Pursuit of Jade is exceptionally good 👌🏾. Certainly worth the hype.
