Should i start from season 1 or can i start with 4?
I started from season 3 and went backwards. Done with season 1 and currently on season 2. Will wait for season 4 to end before watching. Season 3 is peak. They are all so funny and lovable. Bai Jingting has the absolute best laugh, Wang Anyu is a born entertainer, I liked him before but I liked him so much more after watching, Jin Chen although not in S4 is absolutely amazing in the other seasons, I do like the rest of the cast but my fave is Johnny Huang, he’s my 2nd fave CDrama actor ☺️ If you do decide to watch the other seasons, all i can say is be ready to laugh. Enjoy 😊
The level of restraint I’m going to have to endure to wait until it’s either completed or almost completed to start watching since I’m majorly a binge watcher, will truly be unprecedented. Cheng Lei my love, wait for me I will see you in a couple of weeks. I also quite like the FL so it’s truly a bonus

Speak for yourself about Nirvana in fire. Who the hell told you that women didn’t like nirvana in fire. I am a woman and I have watched Nirvana in fire more than 10times, it’s literally one of the greatest CDramas ever made + I like ATC for the journey of the women and slaves + the FL and her girls, but I do not care for the romance in the drama, forcing someone to marry you and apologizing then turn around and drug same person all in the name of love is crazy, diabolical and disgusting and when people want to justify their not caring about the FLs agency as long as she gets with the program and falls in love with the ML so they can watch their lovey dovey scenes, who cares if the FL doesn’t want to marry him, who cares if after she was forced to marry him, she had to be drugged into going to the capital, who cares, as long as the ML loves her, how dare she not love him back after everything he’s done for her, like a woman must love a man because he did things for her, and the aforementioned people will just throw in the standard “don’t judge the drama with modern day values” as if being against unjustifiable behavior is somehow a crime against history, so the ML was turned into a so called simp so as to cushion his bad behavior and justify the FL falling for him

I fell completely and utterly in love with him after watching him as Xiao Se in Blood of Youth and the amount of times I have rewatched that drama just to see him as the slouching bitch resting face innkeeper Xiao Se, the arrogant badass martial prodigy Xiao Chuhe and the cunning/idaf about the throne 6th Prince Yong is innumerable. He was perfection in that role. Hopefully all these platforms (YOUKU I’m side eyeing you) release his works and his company/agency promotes him more.
Oh my dearest Crown Prince, how I loved your shamelessness, antis and theatrics, the fainting on cue was epic, the puppy eyes was beyond adorable, the except my father and personal guard the only person allowed in my physical space is my wife. The ML was maybe too much for some people but me I was living for it. What a phenomenal actor, he was the only reason I completed Speed and Love. I love me a cold hearted FL and this FL here was that on steroids, I just wish she could have emoted more than the wide open eye stare down but I was still ok with her performance overall. Overall value 9.5/10

This is my first variety show, I have been watching Asian dramas for almost 8years now and I have always wondered why they have so much variety shows and what the lore is and boy do I know now. I came for my shark kissing favorite CDrama actor Gong Jun and one of my top10 favorite CDrama actors Liu Yuning, I stayed for Gong Jun, Liu Yuning and the whole cast, I don’t think I have laughed so hard before, and boy did I laugh, every member was exceptional, they really gave it their all + they are all so smart. I binged this in 3days Can’t wait for season 2 to end so I can go binge watch + my girl Zhou Ye is a guest 💃
PS: now I’m watching natural high season 3 with my 2nd favorite CDrama actor Johnny Huang and 2nd favorite CDrama actress Gina “Jin” Chen. I have always liked Wang Anyu but I fear he’s so close to stealing my whole heart 😩😩😩 + I didn’t think Bai Jingting was such an animated person, he’s laugh + shocked faces are so funny.
The AI edit didn’t bother me like it apparently did to most viewers. Although the FLs best friend went overboard sometimes she was a real one to the FL. The 3rd couple and his parents were giving too much screentime and I think that’s what affected the overall experience of this drama, I did skip 90% of their scenes, although I like the 3FL, she will always be Song Lou to me I have never seen someone lose their job several times in one company, it was insane. I truly did enjoy the ML and FL shenanigans, the intentional aura farming by the ML was one for the books lemme tell you. If I ever rewatch, I will rewatch only their scenes, especially their apartment scenes. Overall value 9/10 (this is a pretty high score and I’m sticking with it since my enjoyment of the leads characters was at a maximum )

The acting is so bad, like literally so bad, that fight scene at the beginning was just bad, I could barely contain my laughter, the only thing that makes sense to me with the rave comments is that BL fans have been so starved of CBLs that they will hype all and any CBLs so the production companies will keep churning them out since the ban seems to be either lifted or somewhat lifted. I can somewhat tolerate a bad script but I draw the line at bad acting and whatever is happening in this drama is worse than bad acting. Looks like this one is not for me since I am struggling so hard in completing ep1
PS: to all the people that will feel the urge to come at me I sincerely employ you not to bother because I won’t care so just continue enjoying this mediocrity but if you most certainly cannot help yourself and must come for me then by all means have at it 🤣🤣
Finally completed this drama, honestly it took me a couple of tries to get into it, always stopped at ep2 but I restarted 2days ago and binged the whole thing, wish I had stuck with it all those times I stopped but it’s better late than ever. What a show. More than a decade later and it holds up just fine, it honestly doesn’t feel like a 2014 drama. I have watched another JCW drama welcome to Samdal-ri and I liked it but I really did love him here as the healer, the acting quality he displayed was nothing short of spectacular.. To all JCW fans, I get now, I truly get it now. What an actor. Side note: he has such a beautiful smile My girl Park Min Young, I have been rocking with you since What’s wrong with secretary Kim and you were absolutely fantastic here too and I still rock with you.. All the cast really did an excellent job, the acting quality overall was beyond exceptional. Overall value 9.5/10
