Indeed, not to say other actors don't deserve the chance to get the award, because they also must have worked as hard to deserve the nominations. But then again agrews with you..this drama is unique in its own right and LSG has been giving his all in this. So it would be great to see him getting proper recognition for his work too.
And Shin Ha Kyun definitely deserve the award, it would be very disappointing if he doesn't (wouldn't mind people call this subjective opinion). But I think everyone who watched his lates project would agree that his acting is profound there and so award deserving.
There is no possibility for mouse to get nomination for next year because from mouse, they already nominated lee…
Did Lee Hee Joon nominated for best supporting actor in Mouse? Oh wow that would be unfair, Lee Seung Gi's acting here is superb...like he got to change drastically, it took alot of hard work mentally to make it works.
I agree with aayy if Shin Ha Kyun doesn't win...it'll be a mess..since the man doing extraordinary in his acting too, one impressive work. Both them portraying very complex characters in their respective project and they deliver it in such an outstanding way....
I thought if both were nominated it would be really a tough one to choose, but still better that than one is left behind.
But I believe LSG's work here won't go unrecognized, he's brilliant. Btw I think it's you that suggested me to see his other projects?..and man I watched that reality show...him with Shin Sung Rok, I was like....what a man!.he looks like a really fine man in reality and professionally. No wonder all the love he got from his fans...
Well, I don't know why everyone is accusing him of being the real killer. As for me, he was behaving normally…
The end could be tragic forBR imo if the writer decided to make him a killer. Because it will be hard for him to live knowing he had cause so much pain and misery to people that are close to him and genuinelu care about him. So he'll not be just feel remorse and guilt he will be devastated by it so the only way out for him is to chose death over life. Because it is only proper (if we go with the assumption he's a cross killer) that he followed his own sets of standard in killing ..that boxer if it was him who killed him, he used bible verse about revenge (I still wonder how people took a verse from a bible and make that as "justified reason" for a killer to kill. Idk how but to exploit a biblical verse like that is just way too common in kdramas...the verse indeed about revenge but that is not stand alone law of revenge...there are some other sets of law that accompanying it, I just hope these writers at least know how to explain also that what the killer did is not what the bible is teaching and the killer just perverted them verses to to justify his/her own evil behaviour)...so BR might be self-fulfilling that standard too...like he should pay for the lives he took with his own life. Or yea writer could go with him paying for his crimes from behind bars or getting executed....whichever way....hopefully KMC, OBY and CHJ will have fair and proper closure...that they can move on with their lives.
But I am with you that BR is actually a mouse...that he was being experimented on and that is slowly destroying him...but we hope to see him freeing himself.
In ep 1 there are 3 boys among other kids who watched JH walked by after the talk with the teacher. One of the boy wasn't afrait like the others who couldn't look up at JH in the eye. That boy was with two friends, and he alone able to watch him in the eye unafraid of him...and then in ep 11 we see again the same boy tending to JH's cut wound. Now if we want to connect the dots...BR's mom was a nurse, and BR has a pic of his mom and 100 days of baby boy...so he could be that boy. And JH thus far the writer either misleading us or not has hinted the boy to be YH. If that is the case, then something must have happened to JH that caused him to lose his memory after the incident with his father amd two little siblings...whatever it is something must have happened to JH back then that leads to his mom to make a drastic change in their lives...by changing names, moving, etc. It is eithet that way or JH is BR. But lol writer able to confuse people with only two options at hand....lol..that's crazy clever indeed.
Not to mention people still theorising whether BR is a cross killer or not...it's like one confusion after another...and the writer still have some if not many up her sleeve lol.
If we take what HH said as a hint to determine whether BR or YH is a SK...then it is YH. YH's brain is that bad brain and BR's brain is that docile mice and the transplant is a life changing experience for BR. And if that's true then no wonder BR will turned darker and darker because the frontal lobe he has isn't normal one...it couldn't regulate his emotions well, so his prrdatory insticn will just go wild and wilder. And maybe some if not many viewers insisted that BR's memory is his own, he just lost some of it for now....but they forgot that BR's temporal lobe was damaged. One's long term memory might be impaired and also disturbance of auditory sensation and perception, disorder of visual perception, altered personality, are among the things could happened to a damaged temporal lobe...BR shows some of the above mentioned symptoms...but idk if writer know about this but frontal lobe also plays a key role in forming long-term memory...it also responsible for a working memory...the memory control is not unique to one region of the brain...so yes it is very possible that the frontal lobe that is given to BR from YH contained some of YH's long term memory.
Now with genetics BR actually was born a psychopathic...but her mom refused to believe Dr.Lee theory that her baby could grow up to be a psycopathic criminal. So being a nurse she might provide BR with a very loving upbringing that is why BR wasn't showing a criminal tendency. He might be cruel to animals (but) if it was dealt with early actually a psychopath could lead a life pretty much well. This is a scientific evidence as well that there's unique interaction between genes and environment. And how the role of nature and nurture on genes work...like our brain has this incredible ability to "see" our environment we born into whether it is hostile or nurturing and the genes "prepare" for a lifetime in that environment...so when one is psychopathic but grown in nurturing and loving environment could show pretty normal behaviour...and when a child is growing up in hostile environment, that child tend to show and develop problematic behaviour early on...so yes environement and genes also play great role in shaping one's personality...pyschopathic or not...so yes positive situations could indeed help offset negative genetic influences and also environment influences...having said all that if BR grow up in nurturing and loving environme t, though he's psychopathic, he was at lower risk to develop problematic behaviours...he could still have all the psychopathic traits but they are all "under" control.... Idk if the writer know about this too...but whatever experiment Dr.Lee has on BR must be related to this...now BR has YH's frontal lobe and it caused quite a chaos in other regions of the brain...his temporal lobe is damaged causing another problem too..so yes his predatory instinc that should be inhibited by YH frontal lobe is not working so the switch on his psychopathic behavior is turned on by none that the disturbed auditory sensory and perception...
Dr.Lee might use BR to see how his psychopathic behavioir after the transplant would take him..to what extent...and that in itself already a mistske....this man can't be fixed genetically...and he couldn't have anothet brain transplant...now what to expect...is that to have the transplanted frontal lobe to sync well with other regions, to let thr brain itself work to fix and resolve the matter...because yes our brain is that incredible....
Idk where the writer is going to bring BR with all this...but I just hope that after using that brain and genetics thinsgs we will have a fair end for everyone...not a cliffhanger or worsr disappointed end....she has her reasons to use experiment as means to bring change to BR's life...so let's see it...
A lot of people dropped it because they were confused or disappointed at the brain surgery right? But it was a…
Frontal lobe regulating emotions. And every region of the brain plays a role in memory, that includes frontal lobe...it's been said that it responsible for what is called working memory, but there are scientists that suggest that frontal lobe also play a key role in forming long-term memory just as temporal lobe does...idk if writernim knows about this or not.
I for one disappointed with the chosing of brain transplant as a means of change in BR. But not to the point to drop this drama, instead to be even more curious why the writer chose this way. And well I indeed began to understand why, actually even this is a fiction it will be hard to make a change in one's personality, especially a fully grown psychopath. So the writer has to use a sci-fi as a means to deliver her story. A brain transplant is the "plausible" way to make the impossible possible in her story.
And it is the easiest way...exactly because the complexity of brain and genetic science. Both are still one big mistery of how they actually work for the world of science inspite of many discoveries are made by the scientits in both fields. Because yes people won't ask the hard and complicated questions, as they can be satisfied with this is a sci-fi answer. So imo the writer knowing and making good use of this to provide a pretext for BR's change. Still she has alot to explain too as to how and why the change happening in relate to the transplanted frontal lobe...because she can't just create a fiction on how the brain works...
Well it is within everyone's right though to drop or continue the drama. I guess those who drop this has their own view or expectations...just like the ones who are excited about this.
This is about mouse...this is about experiment...and imo I say it is writer own experiment to make a change in a psycho killer to beable to feel remorse, guilt and then repent...how it will affect peoole that close to him and trust him...his and their journey from a dark side to the light maybe?or to the bottomless pit of darkness? Or whereever writer sets them to be in the end...
I was invested in this drama since its first ep then the change...it still interesting to follow....and the acting especially subtle to watch...
I have no words to say but thank you to everyone in this drama for their hard work for making and delivering thia drama to us. Really can't find a proper line to express how impressive this drama is in its many aspects. Every one has say it better. From the story, the directing, ost, cinematography and definitely the acting. It is beyond our expectation. Usually you either disappointed or satisfied and that's it. But this drama go beyond your expectation, it's just exceptionally great show.
But that's not all, this drama is that kind of drama that's not depend on "shocking" elements in its twists to keep viewers in line....it's engaging, you can feel like you're there in the drama invisibly watching, like what LDS said "someone is always watching"....not to mention the messages this drama is sending us...we don't just watch it to entertain our need to feel a thrilling story but you got to get some warm and touching messages about family and friendships, and some powerful messages about to not losing yourself in pain and suffering in anger and frustration, and to own up to your mistakes...to man up and take the responsibility. So yeah...thank you so much writernim and directornim...what a story it is!
And the actors...each and everyone of them play their roles perfectly...even the villains. A job greatly done. And of course our MLs superb acting and chemistry...

That would be interesting to see how the two live together under a roof considering their i dislike you but I can't get enough of seeing you thing....lol....

And HJW could invade his home again like he did with his basement lol....and the two fishing together in that lake would be a very nice ending scene...imo ;)
I'm so DONE with JWs FFther, Jeong Jae Mom and Lee Chang Jin's manoply like give the two poor partners a break.…
I couldn't say it better. This one is a real germ. yea, I'm currently watching Mouse too along with BE. And I have watched Flower of Evil. I like this kind of drama. I won't comparing them because each is unique in its own right but BE is an exceptional drama for me, I was invested in Mouse too but with Beyond Evil captures my heart. I don't know how to put it but this is first Kdrama I felt like I was thrown into the world in that drama. And not to mention the messages we might learn from it...well of course each person will have their own interpretation as to what message the writer is trying to convey here. But I'm deeply impressed by this drama.
And yes I'm currently watching Mouse as well...it's interesting in its own right...and I have watched Flower of Evil too...and Signal of course and Tell Me What You Saw...and some other great dramas in my opinion....
I won't compare one to another since each has its own uniqueness in its own right but BE is the first drama I have problem saying good bye too...i know some might find it too much but I really sad this is the last episode....ofc I can revisit this whenever I miss it but... I just can't help it but feeling sad....

Yes, after all that they have been through. HJW's dad really a wolf in sheeps clothes, he didn't even see others below him as human beings...and JJ's mom, omg her lunatic expression when she broke her own son's heart like that...she looked like a psycho criminal after all...I bet the secret she has with JM is about the dead bodies found in that deer farm...poor JJ. I hope that evil troo will fall deep into the pit of the hell they made for others...and that they don't be given easy death like that JM...they should live painfully and in humiliation...for what they did to YY was so beyond evil. And HJW I hope he'll not drowned in guilt and feel like he should be responsible for things he didn't do. Ep 11 really hurtful to watch ugh...hopefully LDS will save HJW from whatever evil might befall HJW..because of his dad.so he shouldn't live the life LDS has been living for 20 years....
For the first time ever I felt so sad a drama will end....I haven't watched too many Kdramas though...but this one is just...it takes away your heart with it....it's really an excellent drama with outstanding performance of all the actors/actresses especially the two MLs. And what a story....it's one of the best character driven drama I watched so far....kudos to everyone involved in this...
