How about detective Shin? He's one of the three babies related to pyshoc gene thing back then remember? He's here and there in the background, like his presence is just go unnoticed but at the same time he's there...like someone hiding in the plain sight. None even give that importance of the fact that due to him, his father dropped the bill proposed by Dr.Lee against the expectation of the president at the time.

And to think of it...he always brag about his expensive this and that...yet there he is working as low rank detective....a spoiled son of a presidential candidate...if he wanted to be a detective why bother so much about his expensive outfit or whatnot. It just seemed off he definifely a spoiled child but his chosing line of work is not just uncommon...it also not befit him or his background.

And also (I've said this in another comment too). PO was in the special episodes while Jo Jae Yoon (DL) wasn't there. This could be nothing but I think it could be a hint...the 3 babies are there...one is gone, one is losing himself, one is overlooked by the viewers like he just another supporting role...

Remember the only two persons beside BY's granny who know about YH's friend are Moo Chi and detective Shin. But he's the one ever met the man. And then he also was the one who found the body, and he was also the man who oversaw YH seeing his friend's body.

He's in different team with Moo Chi but he'll do whatever he asked him to do to the extent using his own girlfriend in a dangerous situation (they already assume that Yo Han is a bad guy, so he must be dangerous).that's kind of too
much...

And if I remember correctly, the cross killer was hunting his new prey (the vlogger girl), he's in a black sedan...except BR leada a double life (assuming he is the cross SK) which is unliky, the cross SK could be someone else.

Another scene that also feels off with detective Shin is when he asked BR how he knew all the medical terms so well...it seemed like innocent question but he seemed interested to know how BR could figure out it all. He was always there but not looking suspicious at all which is suspicious to me lol.

So let see if PO will surprise us or not...

Do you wonder there are 3 babies one of them is Det. Shin and now they are all grown up, but Yo Han is gone. But of the 3, no one ever questioned det. Shin possibility of having a psycho gene. Yet he's here and there being all nice and spoiled son of a politician, he's the only character here that not suspicious at all, that makes him suspicious to me lol. To think he's a son of big politician but he's taking job that doesn't seem fit his 'social' status. If he's just want to have his own life even that means taking different path but it's really suspicious he take a job as a detective yet he couldn't let go of wearing branded/expensive stuffs and boasted about it whenever he got the chance. It just seems off.

And interestingly in special episode PO was interviewed but Jo Jae Yoon (Dr.Lee) wasn't there. The 3 babies are there...I think Det.Shin could be one of majot twists writer is keeping from us until later.

He'll definitely will not have a good ending. this will be a tragedy for all main leads I think. Since they all related to BR closely.

And HH's wife delivered her baby few months earlier than the nurse lady because she was on her final weeks of pregnancy when she met the nurse who was just at early of her 23 weeks pregnancy. The babies are month apart on age...how can you switch a new born baby with a 3 or 4 months old baby? I agree with your points on this.

And I don't think BR is the cross serial killer too, because the scene when the SK was hunting for new prey (that young vlogger girl) he was on a black sedan browsing the street. But it's a different case if BR was living a double life (like he secretly has cars or home. Because in ep 1 he could afford to buy an expensive gift for his friend. But I doubt that because it'll make the story even more complicated than it already is.

Yea LJG also one brilliant actor...it seems like a tough competition.

I guess that DL must have known BR from YH since he didn't even know BR's face when they cross path at the hospital hall (assuming there's no missing scene in ep 1 that will be shown in later episode like the mom of lawyer killer who actually was the woman in ep 1 who met DL in hotel lobby and the scene where she watched the two women converse was missing in ep 1 to be appeared in ep 10! Like seriously a great jump from 1 to 10...a new character introduced in ep 10 was actually appeared in ep 1 - no wonder we can't make a guess because the writernim just don't want viewers to guess it right lol). I think it is clear that YH got the envelope from DL. Whatever it is, they met that day and staged DL's death so he could watch from behind the scene what's happening with BR. He must have provoked YH to do things too....

This is just my wild guess, the presidential secretary could be working with DL too. And that she wouldn't dare to take such a risk by herself, imo DL could also behind her begging HSJ to operate on BR.

I mean this is his only way for him to make his experiment work. There's no way to change a grown up pyscho killer by any known method to men...you can only do that on the genetic level. And brain transplant theoritically fit in as a means to bring change to a psychopath. So there are two victims here one is labeled SK suspect and one is a national hero...and you can't just take brain from someone else's head...and the cruel part of it is when doing the transplant...the donor's brain should be taken out from his head while he's alive...you can't transplant a dead brain from a dead man. So if it DL wasn't behind the transplant, he's not a fool either...he must have made a deduction that it's YH's brain and the one who do the operation was HSJ.

The strange thing is both of them saying the same thing to BR...that they 'worry' YH's brain is eating him away...HSJ sounded concerned but curious and DL sounded pressing BR to make a quick decision.

The thing is BR isn't in control of his brain,his brain is in control of his every aspect. So BR really coudn't make that decision. And yes his brain is in a mess up state because apparently the transplanted brain is couldn't inhibit his predatory urge that was stimulated by/in amygdala and it also strange that no body is talking about BR's damaged temporal lobe anymore. And he regain his old memory pretty fast in a year...but also other memory...so it means his new temporal lobe is working hard to adapt to its new host...and now the switch is on...means that predatory instinct to kill...this is not coming from frontal lobe...frontal lobe responsible to inhibit it...to control and regulate it...while it is being stimulated in/by amygdala in temporal lobe...now the interesting part is......temporal lobe damage also could cause a change in personality, a disturbance in auditory sensory among other consequences....if BR indeed a psycho SK...damage in this region indeed could make him an even worse especially when frontal lobe couldn'ti inhibit the urge...but it BR indeed managed to stop himself few times now. He's triggered by the sound and pestering behavior. It fits temporal lobe damage you see....but I can't understand why that frontal lobe couldn't control his predatory killing then how can he feel sad and empathy? The same frontal lobe responsible to regulate those emotions too...BR cried alone when reading BY's case files... so it really a mess up...so I think DL will make use of him to see if brain transplant could provide necessary pretext fot genetic change in brain...to see if a psychopath could be "treated" and they can be "fixed" in terms of their emotions...and yes he will need a living sacrifice...And BR is that lab rat to be sacrificed. So it will fit also with writer's goal...to make a story about a psychopath to feel the remorse and guilt....that could only mean isf BR is JH and is SK and losing his memory and on the journey to find himself...and when he found it...he'll get to feel all the pain of remorse and guilt....

But I beg to differ....I think it's really unfair if writernim making BR like that....it's just doesn't feel right.

I tend to believe BR is a docile mouse....as HSJ said about his experiment.

And about the man...I think...the only person that was shown already but not being focused on...the aunt's husband...writernim did this in ep 1 with lawyer killer's mom. Now we see few times BR's uncle but he didn't do anything but to be present there...so I suspect him could be working with DL to besides that other detective....

Could he be DL's losing bro? Idk...

I think writernim won't spoil us a hint. She mislead us with that lawyer killer's mom right from ep 1...and she was introduced in ep 10....so good luck with clarification...i guess she'll go with usual twists and clarification will be given in the end or near the end....

This is her way to make people stick to the drama you know...you'll be curious enough to make endless guesses and so invested in the drama.....i don't know if it's good or bad...lol but I do like making guesses...it's fun but everything has its limit...i just hope that writernim also know that...so people will not get bored when they should be excited with the drama.....

In Ep 3 when DL came back to SK, the first thing he did was go to police station looking into JH case back then. He reads the files, looking at crime scene pics, etc. It is interesting when he got out from that, he pictured JH in his mind, JH went out from the very police station and was looking at the red cross afar that can be seen from that spot.
I mean it could be a hint that Dr.Lee figured it out that JH is the cross killer.

And it is interesting also that he went to SJE's house right after that. How could he knew where she lived?while we all know that from KMC's finding that SJE changed her name...could it be that she's been living the same neighborhood all the time. Because it seems also that Dr.Lee wasn't aware of how her son is growing up, when she told him "you're wrong" - she said Dr.Lee was wrong about his theory...she was referring to YH growing up to be a fine neurosurgeon. But it was also apparent that DL noticed her hand shaking when she said that to him. And he went straight to the hospital where YH works to observe him secretly. He's a scientist so in no way he couldn't see through YH's behaviour to draw a presupposition whether he's a psychopath or not.
Yet another interesting scene is the three of them were at the same place....YH was entering into the hospital hall when BR was also arrived at the hall..and then we get to hear that voice narated about one is looking for the other kid his mom told him about...wondering if the kid grow up to be a predator like him or living a normal live unlike him...then after that...BR was leaving the hall and actually crossed path with DL when he entered the hall...BR nodded at him. DL didn't seem to know who BR is. Why BR nooded (as in a respectful gesture towards a senior/elder)...but then in ep 11 BR knew it was DL as he has flashback of reading things about him and his pics. Something amiss about the scene in ep 1. If Dr.Lee was following up about the two babies, especially if he's following up with the nurse (his late colleague friend's wife) on her baby, and he was experimenting on him since early age (maybe after his mom's death by giving him a false family) he should have known BR's face. But he didn't seem to even pay attention to him at all. But keep on looking for YH. Why straight down to YH after checking on JH case?

DL is as ambitious as HSJ. He's as determined as HSJ in his research field. And both of their research actually some controversies in medical science field. Like yes you really can't determine if one could grow as a psycho killer or a genius just by looking at one DNA or genetic factor. Gen actually could be adaptable to external stimulation i.e environment/circumstance/situation. Not to mention pyschopathy is a spectrum...the levels of severity also depends on the circumstances the person is in in early stage of his/her life. Psychopathic children who grew up in abusive environment or having severe traumatic childhood tend to show all problematic behaviours that could lead to being criminals when they grew up. But they who have good and warm family upbringing indeed show the other way round...it's not making them less psychotic but in genetic level they have lesser rism of becoming criminals and could lead pretty normal life...

So in which upbringing environment BR and YH were in actually? This is crazy we only have two persons to fit JH but still we can't be sure of who's who lol...it's like writernim likes to mess with viewers lol...even when we guess it right we might still be surprised on the revelation itself.

Now with JH...most viewers assuming him to be the killer of his family. But I watched ep 2 when JH was narrating his first murder as a mess...the scene was shown was of that boxer in the ring burned with a man standing in front of him watching him dead.

In ep 1 his father's position suggested that he was stabbed upstair and falling down to the bottom. While JH was standing there at the bottom of the stair looking down on hia head. Ofc it could be misleading too since we're not shown how he got there at the bottom...he could be there after stabbing and pushing his father down the stairs. But idk...I get a feel when he was at the church praying wholeheartedly as a kid...he sincerely wish to be understood and was hurt that everyone sees him differently. He seemed genuienly sad. And when he was scratching himself bloody...it's more like he's dealing with anxiety...for a kid he could tell he shouldn't harm human being...yes he did killed the fish and the dog that'a out of frustration and anger and maybe disappointment or even jealousy? So how and what made him snap? What triggered him to harm and murder his family? His father beating him?his younger brother "lied to him?" It wasn't even his younger brother who told on him..it's his sister...now how got snapped and wanted to bury his brother alive? Dr.Lee said a psychopath could beat a polygraph test... but JH was a child...if he's the killer and the police couldn't find a solid evidence to prove him as a murderer fhen it isn't a mess...it's a perfect murder. If the mess he was reffering to was the way of him killing them...for first murder be could overpower his father and brutally stabbed him to death and let him falling down the stairs...shouldn't be a mess...it's a calculated murder....

Something must have happened to JH right after that...and that's a key poiny writernim not willing to share it yet with us. ...

It's really hard to say YH is JH because YH's isn't wearing a mask to hide himself...he didn't play charming guy, he didn't go around socialising with people, yet he let his mom and gf have access to his house...he really showed that he felt afraid when he asked CHK to let him hug her awhile longer, him asking his mom that bomb question wasn't in a psychotic tone, more like someone's feeling hurt and disappointed...and a psychopath wouldn't try to kill himself due to stress or frustration...they really couldn't feel those kinds of feelings or emotions the same way common people could. He wasn't fight back when he was being bullied..he even wanted to suicide after being saved. That's not trait of a psychopath.

So YH is either HH's son but never have the psychopathich genes to begin with...but he was told so since he was young and adding to the fact the notorious SK father all the bullying and tough teenage years could contribute to his adult behavior...he seemed to be a genius person instead. Dr. Lee might have manipulated his prenatal gen test.

Or He wasn't HH's son...and something happened that he ended up with HH's ex wife as a mom..

Or he actually was JH and he was experimented on too back then....that he lose his memory of his traumatic childhood?

Or could he was in accident too....could JH was in accident related to BR's mom and her son...and that's how they got swiitched afterward? With JH losing his memory. Since the nurse died, HH's ex wife took her son as her own and abandoned JH as the son of the dead nurse? Both kids might lose the memory due to trauma? If this is the case then the aunt indeed must have known something.

But again, in ep 1...there are three boys at the end of the line when JH walked by the kids....they are smaller kids than him physically...and the only person to look at him when he looked back was one boy...the same boy in ep 11 who insisted on tending to his wounded hand. He didn't scare at him at all....and we also see three young students wich is BR and his friends saving JH. So it could be that the three kids back then are BR and his friends....YH coukd be JH if this is the case...since BR is physically slightly smaller than YH. When KMC toom CHJ to see the crime scene he found in that red hood cross killing case...he said the shoe print is big so the killer might be bigger than KMC. BR doesn't fit this.

So I think there's another killer too.

And I think this drama will be about that...that a psycho murder can finally get to feel remorse and guilt through brain transplane. Because this is the only "scientific" excuse can be used to build a story about repentant psycho SK.

BR with all the mess happening in his head will be stabilised..because brain has that incredible ability to adapt, so it might be taking time but at last due to YH's frontal lobe BR's life aso changed...he'll get to that point eventually to satisfy writernim's goal with this drama.

Or it isn't YH's brain? But someone else? Because there's no sign of head surgery on YH's head when he died. It would be noticeable if his head being cut open too. But he had his hair on like nothing happened to his head when his mom seeing hin next morning.

Like everything is possible now...and we're meant to be confused from the start I guess . This writer won't spoil a thing until after the drama ends?lol.

How come Kairos isn't popular? Not popular in SK viewers rating? If popularity is one point to consider in a drama then it should be made its own category, like popular category...you can't just drop a drama because it's less populer in certain group's preferences....

It's really unfortunate Kairos couldn't make it and LSG also couldn't make it to the nomination...but this is just one award...I hope both will be recognized in other awards & nominations....

What?Kairos also not getting a single category of nomination? Idk how it works with the award but really?like it's been like one of the finest drama of 2020. I just can't swallow it really. Ugh...Shin Sung Rok my man is amazing in that :-(

That's why I said something must have happened that is yet to be revealed. HH's wife (ex wife SJE) story isn't ended yet with YH's dead. That scene when she wailing her son's death she kept sayinh about how the sins will be paid. So she must have done something and poor YH now also a victim.

YH was a grey character because he doesn't show that noticeable characteristic of a pschopath. He's more reserved, he didn't pretend being cold, it's just how the way he was (showing he cares in a reverse way?), he was bullied (in no way a psycho would let himself be bullied) to the point he wanted to suicide,the way he was hugging CHJ like he needs someone to hold on to, the way he looked at his dead friend's body, the way he looked at his mom and told her ...wasn't of someone psychopathic. He shows his emotions quite well. Even when he realised his key was still on the door, when he came back home, he didn't have that psycho look in him, it was a concerned face and we don't know yet why he tailed BY's granny that day...could it be that he was concerned for her safety instead of intended fo harm her? He's having all that murder victims pics only meant he either took the pics himself or someone was sending him those pictures, and he's been keeping an eye on BR for quite sometimes, he must have known about him earlier than what being shown to us...because it wasn't coincidence also he seemed to be in crime scene where BR was.
He's really suspicious too like you can't really read what his expression truly means. We still need to know what's with that envelope about human genetics he had. Was it his or Ba Reum's, that he was so determined to kill him...not just on one ocassion...and the sad thing is he told CHJ that he would tell her everything, I think he must have anticipated if he couldn't tell CHJ, so it's still open too of CHJ will get the message YH left for him? Like why made that scene about him would tell her everything just to let him die. So there must be something more to it. YH also might shown all the signs of a killer? But a psycho serial killer? An exhibitionist killer like cross killer at that? Nope. He's a neurosurgeon, so we could expect him to be a very detailed person, but how sloppy it was to keep things that could be leading to troubles. As a neurosurgeon also he must be a very careful person, but let his mom and his gf to know the pass code into his house where there are those things and a secret room with pictures of serial killing victims? Very unlikely. Like CHJ could even came there whenever she wants even when he wasn't home, and to let a stranger like cleaning lady to also freely entered the house not to mention being not careful with the key to that secref room...he didn't strike me as a SK. He's capable of murdering someone and he didn't shy about that when he put his surgery knife on that gangster's body in front of everyone...but I now thinking of it all...he couldn't be a SK.

Now if he's the SK, it's really a sloppy job too with BR. He's been following him quite some times, and if he is a serial killer he must have making plan on how to kill him in a way he would enjoy torturing him to death...but he strike him like someone overwhelmed with anger or revenge. Like he's being provoked to do so.
He must have found out something about himself or Ba Reum...and he knew his mom was hiding a secret too.

So I don't think YH is a SK and he didn't have the look of someone who would kill an old lady. But I also wonder if it wasn't him who killed BY's granny, if it is BR why he didn't help her?why just watched?he was there before BR anyway.

So yes I think something must have happened when they were little. And yes I've been saying that about Dr.Lee...as a scientist it's kinda off if he ended up with having a result of the babies potentially growing up as a psychopath killers if they're grown in environment that nurtured their psychopathic tendencies. So my guess is yes that presidential secretary lady was very much involved with Dr.Lee since the start. And I guess Dr.Lee was behind het beggin HSJ to operate on BR. I think HSJ somehow also know about Dr.Lee thus he sent him pair of mouse. Idk it was a warning or what but Dr.Lee looked as ambitious as HSJ behind his kind and calm look.

Having said all that, I still think BR as an experimental subject by Dr.Lee, he wanted him to be saved by having YH's brain transplanted into BR's head. So he could see how he would turned into?! But then it is really strange Dr.Lee and HSJ said the same exact line about YH's brain is eating BR away as if it will take him over. But HSJ said in a more concerbed tone. Like he genuinely worried about it inspite of his curiousity. And Dr. Lee was said in a very subtle provoking tone. Dr Lee has his dream of exterminating evil, HSJ has hia dream of being a human deity to control man by brain transplant. We know what HH's goal and how he achieved it. But we don't know yet to what extent Dr.Lee's "good" dream takes him to. Sometimes people just go way too extreme to do what they think "good" and will find all excuses to justify why it is necessary to do all those extreme.
So yea he must have following up one of the two since they were little...or maybe both...but that also won't explain why he just cameback to SK when the two are grown man now?and then he just found our about Jae Hoon and what had happened? It's also interesting to note that Dr.Lee was able to picture it in his mind when he got out the police station...he pictured Jae Hoon was looking at the cross. Like how could he pictured that? Could it be he assumed that JH is the cross killer?

Though I tend to follow HSJ wording that indicating that BR was a docile mouse that got "nasty" brain of an aggressive mouse? Because that would explain BR's losing his control.

But I also think if this is Dr.Lee's experiment of exterminatinv evil, and if BR is like what everyone think he is...a psycho SK then Dr.Lee might wanted to have him be able to have feelings of remorse and guilt of his past. This will fit his goal to find bad genes and find a way to stop them to commit evils. And being a scientist like HSJ, someone must be the sacrifice. That's what BR is. Unlike HSJ, Dr.Lee experiment in lab is on cells, and he observe how the environment and genes interact in a living person. So my take is, (with the assumption that BR is a psycho SK) in order to see a behavioral change in BR, yes BR needed a brain transplant. And he got that through HSJ. And Dr.Lee was observing how the genes in that part of brain will affect the other regions of the brain? Of course if we assume that YH is also psychopathic, then his frontal lobe must done BR harm than good...because he couldn't control his urge to kill now, while the frontal lobe is responsible for regulating emotions including spontaneous urge stimulated in/by amygdala like ya that primal urge we called predatory instinct in us.

So thisis very complex story and if it is the intentio of the writer to confuse us all...then she must anticipated l the possibilities that will take with brain transplant...since yes viewers are not fool....they might have better ideas in their comments that the writer could consider (because reading all comments here...some actually very good theories that make sense)

I have many different guesses because i tried to see it from each different angle...and still wonder what exactly the writer is thinking and doing lol.

If you watched cafefully there are scenes where Yo Han was checking on Ba Reum'a file, in that Ba Reum was born around May 1995, and there's also scene when Moo Chi was checking HH's wife files and found out that she changed her name and he was surprised to se Yo Han'a name in that family relation certificate, Yo Han was born around January 1995. Anyway Ba Reum and Yo Han was born in the same year, they're only months apart in age. And Ba Reum and his two friends saved Yo Han when they were in highschool, so Yo Han probably was in the same highschool as them. Because when Hong Joo asked about he remembered him, she definitely said they're in highschool when receiving citizen award for saving a friend. Then Ba Reum said they found that friend recently...and Hong Joo suddenly changed the subject before Moo Cho gets curious (becaise she knew that friend Ba Reum talked about was Yo Han).

But something indeed must have happened that yet to be revealed during the moment after Jae Hoon's family murder case. Jae Hoon definitely is the son of Head Hunter because when Yo Han's mom recalled the moment she almost choked Jae Hoon to death, she said she should have not given birth to him...or something like that. But we are yet to know whether the adult Jae Hoon is Yo Han or Ba Reum.

One thing interesting though if you would go with baby switching. Dr.Lee actually never answer the question by HH's wife when she asked about the test result. He was silent and she just like taking that as her baby was positive having psycho genes...and when Dr.Lee left her for a moment there are reports on the table...we aren't shown yet if she took and read the result herself.

And another interesting thing if you noticed also in ep 1, the pregnant lady (Ba Reum's mom - a nurse- we knew she's a nurse in ep 10) she said thar her husband was a kind man and he was Dr.Lee research coleague wjo even volunteered to help him with "experiment" in UK. She said she also volunteered to have prenatal genetic test, and all she knew from her husband was her test result showing the baby was normal...but then her husband got accident while saving a kid and she just found out that her husband lying to her...her baby ia psychopathic too. Something seemed off with that. Later on we knew that Ba Reum's mom also died in accident.

It would be crazy...Ba Reum's mom wouldn't want in anyway to switch the baby with HH's wife...not willingly if that's the case. Because she loved her husband dearly and the only one left in this world that connected to her husband was her baby, so it's impossible for her to switch the baby. And their delivering time is different...too you can't switch a new born baby with a 3 or 4 months old baby.

I think the women indeed live in the same neighborhood.

And it would be strange that people lose track of Jae Hoon, so even he wasn't proven a murderer, he was a suspect...so it's weird that there are no records at all available about him. Police or government must have all his records and even if he had his name changed, there must be record of it.

So my guess was Jae Hoon was abandoned by his mom (there are only 3 bodies found beimg dad and two siblings, no mother's body). And if YH wasn't HH's son then we aren't shown yet also how he ended up being HH's wife son.

Yo Han might or migjt not be a killer...he's a grey character...when he saw his friend's dead body he sighing like regreting having his friend involved?

So my guess is that there's someone else...there's been other killer...could be the man who worked with Dr.Lee the police detective? Because Ba Reum couldn't be killing that friend of Yo Han in his own house in a perfect timing when Moo Chi was on TV.

And if you look at the opening theme...at a pic of a man with cap...that doesn't look like Yo Han nor Ba Reum...at all.

Well this is all also just my guess....so we'll have to see more to get clearer picture.

I'd like to thank again for your suggestions :-) I haven't been able to watch all due to time management though...but I definitely will do one by one...now I'm still having goof time with the Master in the House lol...I want to watch Vagabond but it isn't available on the platforms I used to watch dramas. I'll have netflix subscription once one of the other subscriptions expired just to watch Vagabond lol.

So yes I can see him being very dedicated in his projects, kind of person who'll give all his best in everything he does...so I wish him all the best too...

Yea, @Preksya suggested me to watch it and I did it (I usually not really into reality show, but when watched Master in the House I just can't stop having my good time with it lol). No, I haven't watch Little Forest and Twogether, but I'll check it out :) - and what just done a quick look...he's with Lee Seo Jin in Little Forest...i definitely will go watch that and after that the Twogether...idk KReality Shows are this awesome....oh my thank you so much for the references
