Agree. The Joy of Life crowd will watch that, to support the ML and the writer of SSS. Reba's fans and Allen's fans will surely support TBW. Neutrals can make up their minds which to watch. TBW will be fine, even if it starts airing toward the tail end of SSS, maybe as early as first week of Jan 2022 (if Youku feels that they are ready). Clashing with SSS is nothing, compared with clashing with the Olympics; and delaying it till March will cause scheduling issue for other dramas that are in Youku's pipeline.

That is true. Those are iconic roles that both have nailed perfectly, as if custom-made for the two of them.

His journey was sad. But the ending was good.

I think they added way too much comedy into SSS, so much so that even when people are fighting, you are not sure if they are serious or they are just fooling around. I do not think Youku needs to be afraid of letting TBW compete with SSS.

His ending was not all that bad. He was free from the bondage to his evil mother. He survived all the fighting. And his relationship with Ashile Sun was healed in the end. He will return to the grasslands and find the girl whom he loves and who will love him. He is now a much better person than when the show first started.

It is still a bit early. More Reba's fans will be here, once it airs. And more Allen's fans will be here as well. But, it will not be easy to replicate what happened on the MDL page of TLB. That page is still a freak. Just a massive coincidence that the 'right' people were there at the 'right' time. We shall see what happens to this page, once TBW airs.

Oh, I was actually referring to their performances in ELOD. But, yes, even though they were not the main couple in TMOPB, they did well enough to win many fans in China. And it was their clamouring that brought about ELOD, as the ending for them was sad in TMOPB.

Same reaction from me. Too many scenes use slow mo and people in China may not like it. It is still early days. Not sure how the rest of the episodes will pan out.

Yes, all the action sequences in TLB were done in normal speed, and they looked great. Only some of the flights of the arrows were done in slow mo, and were very well done.

If I remember correctly, producer of TLB did say she is keen to bring the two of them together for a modern drama.

Youku must be monitoring the performance of SSS, see how is it being received by the Chinese viewers. If they sense weakness, they will not bother to wait for the last episode of SSS to air. The ball is in Youku's court.

I think Youku is ready. If they are confident enough to send TBW for airing license, it shows that they are ready. They obtained the license 3 weeks ago? If it airs in mid Jan, it means they would have had 1 month and 3 weeks to improve on whatever they need to improve (after getting the license), That shoud be sufficient time.

They have 2 options, if they want to avoid theOlympics:

1. Release it around 15 Jan, 2 episodes a day, 7 days a week. They can finish it before the Olympics start. Still avoid competition with SSS. That will be good news for us. Just need to wait for a month. They can time the last few episodes to coincide with Chinese New Year, which is 1 Feb 2022. Viewership could be high, as people hang around at home and watch TV or online drama series. Will be prime time to show last few episodes of TBW.

2. Release after the Olympics. That means we will have to wait for around 2 months.

If we do not hear anything, do not see new stills or new trailers by early Jan., very likely they have chosen option 2.

Someone just posted the airing schedule of Sword Snow Stride. If I read the schedule correctly, VIP member will watch the last episode on 11 Jan 2022. They are airing it 2 episodes everyday, 7 days a week. They want to finish before the Winter Olympic Games, which starts on 4 Feb and end on 20 Feb 2022.

Youku can air The Blue Whisper right after 11 Jan 2022. They can follow Tencent's strategy and air TBW everyday, 2 episodes a day. If they time it right, they can end part 1 right before the Winter Games, take a break during the games and air part 2 right after the games.

If they do not screen it right after Sword Snow Strike, they risk coming into direction competition with the Winter Games. Another option is to air Part 1 right after the Winter Games, which means we get to see this only in late Feb, instead of late Jan.

Anyway, some of you are really fast with your news update. If we do see release of new stills and new trailers by end Dec or early Jan, it might come in right after 11 Jan 2022. If we hear nothing, we may have to wait till end Feb 2022 to watch Part 1.

I do not think Youko is afraid of competition from other dramas. But the Winter Games is different issue altogether. And China is hosting it. Between watching the Games and TBW, we can guess which TV progam will win. Tencent took the risk and screened You are my glory during the summer games. That show survived the Games, and went on to score a mega hit for Tencent. Will Youko be brave enough to do the same??

No, there is no love triangle in this drama

That is quite understandable, with Christmas just around the corner. Anyway, it will not be till late Jan 2022, at the earliest, that we get to see TBW. Hence, no rush to be on that page. And, like you, I am also curious what will be her new project, after Legend of Anle. It should be a modern drama, but no one seems to know what she has chosen. Will she venture into sci-fi dramas or will she play it safe and stick to romance genre? Will be interesting.

I love both their performances and their chemistry.

This year, he did very well in "One and Only" and the sequel "Forever and ever". Miss Crow and Mr Lizard was not smash hit, but it is pretty decent drama. So, he has a successful 2021 and is a pretty in-demand actor at the moment, filming almost non-stop.
