Yes, you are totally right!! Poor Reba. She has to adapt by standing on those blocks. And it is not GJ's fault either. Knowing this, we can look out for these scenes when LOA is aired. See if those blocks do their job.

She knows her own body better than we do. If her body tells her to stop, take a break, as her fans, we understand. All we are saying, if that is indeed her decision, just make an official annoucement and end all this circus. At least we can keep our mind off this and go do something else.

If it is her decision, of course we are happy for her. We need official confirmation. No point having all these unconfirmed information and then change again.

We don't have to believe this. If she rejects this, she needs a viable or better alternative. And doing variety shows for 6-7 months, like what she did previously, just isn't a better alternative. Even taking on another historical drama with a good script is better than doing a bunch of variety shows. Let's wait for official announcement.

The one where Reba is standing on the block, it is similar to the picture that I saw. It more or less place her at the same height level as GJ, and made it easier on the eye when we watch a scene like this.

This is to be expected. They now go into post production. Airing date still months away. We will not see additional stuff till a few months down the road.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this. Reba is quite tall for a girl, at 1.68m. But GJ is even taller, at 1.86m. Saw one article that showed how they filmed one of the fighting scenes when the two were standing back to back. Reba has to stand on a wooden block to narrow the height difference. In the drama, we will not see the block, of course. But the photo I saw, it was quite funny.

Ok. I think we are doing the right thing, using various pieces of evidence to dispel the rumour that season 2 is yet to be filmed.

You will see clearly, when we are on the page of Ball Lightning or Invader, no one hears anything on Weibo that Reba has to film Season 2 of TBW. If Reba has to film season 2, then it would be in her 2022 filming schedule, her agency will make it official, and that would be the end of all speculation.

You are watching Rebirth for you? How do you feel about it? Terrible drama, in my opinion. I skipped lots of episodes. But, you might think differently.

I got so bored, I went back to my old habit of watching American TV series. Currently watching FBI, season 3 and 4.

I think this time, she will surprise us. TBW and LOA were pretty much done deal for her. Not much to think about. But her new projects for 2022 will be uncertain and we are likely to be surprised, whatever her choice.

Understand where some of you are coming from. There is some fun in guessing what she wants to do. At the same time, though, there is also the pain associated with getting all our hopes dashed, when we guessed wrongly. I think this year, her schedule was more certain. I mean, after YAMG, she was clearly going for The Blue Whisper. The same director from TLB brought her there. And then, LOA was pretty straight forward. But, 2022 is very different. She already did 2 historicals in a row, meaning, her team will want her next project to be a modern drama. And, she already did YAMG, which is a modern romantic drama, so she will want to avoid doing another one like that. If it is romance drama, the script better be as different from YAMG as possible, again narrowing her selection range. The best will be a modern sci-fi drama or a modern crime busting drama or a suspense triller.

I guess her team will just need to look at what are the offers on the table, and pick the best option.

Yah. The hairpin is definitely there in the anime. Will be interesting to watch this, and compare with the drama.

I think much depends on what are her options. If there is a better option than filming 7 months, I think she will go for that better option. But, if Ball Lightning is the best script, even if 7 months, she might go for it. Don't forget, there is that drama Invader. Isn't that also an option for her??

She has been so busy filming. I sure hope that while she was doing all that, her team was busy scouting for the best script for her.

They could well make a last minute decision, and hence last minute annoucement, concerning her next project.

I just read a piece of news regardingling Angelababy. Last minute, without any news at all, she was at a booting ceremony for her new drama. Caught everyone by surprise.

Something like that could well happen to Reba, something that can catch everyone by surprise, including all her fans in China.

So they are really serious about making an anime series? Based on the manhua or the drama, or mixture of both, or something totally new?

I think we don't believe in any of those stuff. Some may indeed turn out to be true. But, we just don't know. Regarding doing variety shows, that could be low on her priority. There was a year she did not have any drama aired. She was just doing lots of other stuff and for nearly 8 months, no filming. She said she did not want that to happen again. So, I think she will take a short break and then start her next drama project. Even if it starts filming in Jan 2022.

If it starts filming only in Jan 2022, we might not hear anything official till mid Dec.
