But if Reba used the block while filming The Long Ballad, and she also used the block in Legend of Anle, I suspect she could be more comfortable using it, as compared to wearing high heeled shoes while filming?? Maybe she feels that there is less chance of her falling on that block, as compared to her falling on her high heels??

Now that they have already obtained the broadcasting license for season 1, 30 episodes, they will want to air it as soon as possible. Why? Because, there is another Youku blockbuster, Legend of Anle, waiting in line. And, they also have to air season 2. So, they might air season 1 in early Jan 2022, wait till March, air season 2. And then, maybe air LOA in July or something like that.

That also means they need to work fast on TBW season 2 (or part 2, as some of you call it) and submit that for broadcasting license. Granting of license for season 1 was pretty fast! This shows that getting license for season 2 should be smooth. They just need to finish all the post production stuff quickly and get it approved.

I think it was a totally freak occurance, what happened here from May to around early July. We had all the right people here at the right time. People who loved to do 'deep' analyses. In most of the other comment sections, there are lots of comments too. But most are just one or two short paras.

It probably has a lot to do with TLB itself? The casting? Most people had a hard time accepting a FL that is 8 years older than the ML. And the drama itself? Just so many things for us to discuss and analyse.

Yes, she has finished filming safely, meaning there was no accident. The dimensions of those blocks are not very big (for good reasons). If she was not wearing any wires while filming those scenes, the chances of tripping and falling are always there. Anyway, she is done and is safe.

There will be real height difference, when Reba and GJ look at each other face to face. Those scenes will surely be filmed without those blocks. She did that with Vengo Gao in ELOD, even though he is really tall. I bet they sent her for neck massage, after filming.

If your source is not official, no point speculating. Just wait for official information from Youku. They likely finished filming both seasons.

They are all done and ready for season 1, which is why they submitted that for approval and it was officially confirmed as 30 episodes.

They are still working on the post production for season 2. Once they submit season 2 for review, and that is approved, that is when we will know how many episodes season 2 will have.

I think it isn't zero till she herself or her agency said she is not taking it. Or, the producer or director said the role has been given to another lady.

Those were incredible times, magical moments. I doubt they will ever be repeated on any MDL page. And we were not just exchanging meaningless messages. We were all out to analyse anything and everything that could be analysed about this drama.

No doubt all their kissing and 'presumed' sexual activities in those bedroom scenes may make us feel a bit voyeuristic, but it is their journey there that made this drama interesting and compelling. To reach that end point of falling in love and live happily after, they have had to overcome some very personal issues, particularly for Yu Tu. He thought he needed to be able to offer something to QJJ, to be worthy of her, before they can start a relationship. But all she ever wanted was to be by his side, to stand by him and encouraged him to reach for his dream in space exploration. Their love story could have gone wrong in so many ways, but it did not, because they did not give up on each other.

Yes. I also realised that. And GJ supporters were a bit disappointed. But, it is very early. Legend of Anle won't be aired for another 4-5 months at least. I am sure at some point, she will appear with GJ in some promotional events for that drama, and there will be interactions between the two.

Yes. If you look at the wrap up photo, the cast plus filming crew, etc. all in there are about 50 over people. From a practical perspective, to bring that many back just to shoot season 2 is just so incredibly difficult. So, filming both seasons in one go just makes a lot of sense.

Wu Lei is 1.80m, Yang Yang is 1.8 and Gong Jun is 1.86m, Vengo Gao is 1.91m. So GJ is not even her tallest male co-star. So, she might have even used those blocks while filming ELOD.

But, in TLB, I did not see the block being used in any of the BTS. I do not recall if Ashile Sun stood back to back with Li Changge in any battle or fight scenes where they were fighting a common enemy. If they were facing each other in a non-fighting scenes, it is not too bad. We all know that Wu Lei is taller than her.

For fight scenes, if they were standing back to back, I think levelling up their heights might make shooting a bit easier. My guess is that there will be many fighting scenes that she will be doing with GJ and they will be standing back to back in some of those scenes.

It is pitiful, in the sense that she will need to be aware of the dimensions of those blocks and be mindful she is not standing on flat ground. Those are action sequences. If she moved too much during filming and stepped out of those blocks, she might just trip and fall.

Wonderful news! We might be seeing this much earlier than we thought! We wait to see what is going to happen to season 2

Unfortunately, that is way the story was written. But it did bring out the revenge element in Li Changge, that she will kill, if she has too. And yes, they gave him a very honourable burial.
