May need quite a few exchanges to explain things to you. You have the patience for that??
In the original source material, which you can read in the Recent Discussion portion above, downloaded by MK 916, under the topic Manhua download, you see that there was hardly any romance.
And the manhua (the source material) was not even completed when the drama was made. The author of the manhua had some contractual dispute with her former agency and hence the manhua was stuck in a limbo. At the point when the manhua was stuck, Ashile Sun and Li Changge did not even start their romantic relationship.
In the drama, the scriptwriters already changed the story slightly, to inject more romance into the story, knowing that without romance, this drama will surely be a failure.
When this drama was first aired back in May, so many of us were here and we discussed the ending so thoroughly we felt it was the most unique happy ending you will find in a historical Cdrama. And it is completely in line with the characters of Li Changge and Ashile Sun. They are the most unique couple, as Li Changge is a fierely independent girl, and he trusts her completely. She is somewhere in the grassland, onto to her next interesting project, whilst he is just tidying up business in the Ashile troops (which is why you see him in his battle gear). He is not interested to become the next Khan, so will likely roam the grassland with her.
You do not see them in the same frame in the last few seconds of the drama, because even though they were technically married by the last episode, once they were in the grassland, they are tied to each other 24/7. You will see Li Changge up and about doing her things, while Ashile Sun is doing his, much as you would expect of a 21st century couple, with the wife going off to her work and the husband his, but they will go back to the same home at the end of the day.
Yet, in the final frame, we see that eagle in flight. It was meant to show that Ashile Sun was very nearby, just seconds away. So, if Li Changge ever needs any help, she can use the eagle to rely message to him. As she knows martial art and is able to speak the language and many dialects of the grassland, she does not need 24 hour protection from him. If she encounters an enemy, she can defend herself at least for a good few minutes, by which Ashile Sun would have arrived to help.
Do also take note that by the time this drama ended, there was already peace between the Eastern Khaganate and the Tang Dynasty. There will be no large scale fighting. For one-to-one type of combact, with her skill, Li Changge can easily defend herself. We saw in the drama, she can fight with all kinds of weapons, ranging from her beloved short dagger, long sticks, bow and arrow, sword, etc.
Just my opinion. The high notes for that song is rather high. Does not sound like her voice. I will go listen…
Yes, there is indeed a slight difference, particularly at the beginning part of the song. It sounds more husky. But, when it moved to the higher pitch, it is definitely Xu Jia Ying's voice.
You can try listening to Reba's singing voice in Flame's Daughter and ELOD and see if you agree with me. You can find these easily in YouTube.
Just my opinion. The high notes for that song is rather high. Does not sound like her voice. I will go listen…
I tried googling, see if there is any post to suggest Dilraba sang it in E21. Nothing. All the posts associate Xu Jia Ying with that song, though they always mention it in the context of the OST and not E21. If you want a definite answer, may have to ask Dilraba herself.
This is hardly a big deal for me. You expressed your doubt that Dilraba sang it in E21. I merely attempted to clear your doubt. I feel it was the voice of Xu Jia Ying in E21, even though it is slightly different from the official OST.
Just my opinion. The high notes for that song is rather high. Does not sound like her voice. I will go listen…
Lulu, this time I listened with my eyes closed. Yes, the voice in E21 is slightly different from the OST. The OST is smoother. One possibility is that Xu Jia Ying sang two versions of Time Monologue. A smoother version used as the OST. 2nd version used in E21. This is just my opinion. And I could well be wrong, that Dilraba did in fact sing it in E21. I would be surprised if she did. Judging from the two songs she sang (Flame's Daughter & ELOD), she seemed to struggle with the high notes.
Just my opinion. The high notes for that song is rather high. Does not sound like her voice. I will go listen…
I know. I listened to it in E21. The high notes are very high. I checked against her singing voice in Flame's Daughter and Eternal Love of Dream. I do not think she can hit the high notes that Xu Jia Ying did, so I think she lip-sync in E21, and they played the OST by Xu Jia Ying.
I have a doubt whether the song at ep 21 sung by diliraba herself?
Just my opinion. The high notes for that song is rather high. Does not sound like her voice. I will go listen to her singing voice when she sang one of the OSTs for flame's daughter, just to confirm
I think there should be some promotion soon. Like a Happy Camp episode, a new trailer, something like that. I think Allen is currently filming another drama (Qing Jun), so Reba cannot do any joint promotion with him till middle or third week of Dec.
I think Dharl Dhazel may have already subscribed to Youku, in order to watch The Psychologist. Probably no need to pay extra, in order to watch TBW on the same channel.
Welcome on board!! I think there are a number of Reba fans here with the same question as you, how fast can they…
I see. That series will take you all the way till almost end of Dec. From there, it will just be a short wait for TBW. Yes, hopefully, the sub for TBW will be good and no gaps in the subs.
After novoland pearl eclipse tencent will release sword snow tride followed by mirror twin cities inaddition to…
I forgot about the guy from Joy of Life. Sword Snow Stride does not even have a romance tag. Did someone make a mistake? If no romance, and TBW goes head to head with SSS, I think viewers will prefer TBW. No matter what, people still want some romance in a historical drama. Joy of Life would not have been such a success, without the romance between Zhang Ruo Yun and Li Qin.

Ok. I think Youku will not be afraid of competition from Sword Snow Stride. Not a lot of big stars in that drama. Nor Mirror Twin Cities. That one has Li Yi Feng as the big star. His biggest hit in a historical drama goes all the way back to 2016 (Noble Aspirations).
Psychologist will end its run by Dec 23. All the more, TBW will likely air in Jan 2022. Just a matter of the exact date in Jan.
If Luoyang does not do well, and post production for TBW is just about perfect, Yuoku may spring us a surprise and release it right after Psychologist.

Maybe you can wait? Those of us who start watching once it airs on Youku will surely let you know if they have it subbed right from the start.
But, I think Youku will not be afraid of competition from SSS. At this stage, a head on collision between TBW and SSS seems unavoidable.
We have confidence in TBW team. Unique storyline. Great cast. Great director. Excellent CGI team in post production.
As you said, we shall see.
