I don't think it is a good drama. Low score in MDL and hardly anyone goes there to comment. If the male co-star is so old, it is a pure comedy movie, not a rom-com.

I agree. If the script is good, and Reba is there, they do not need a high traffic star as the ML. Any actor who can act well will do. This will give them a really wide choice.

If they are ok with veteran actors who are really good, lots of them in China.

I think Yang Yang only looks really nice in modern dramas. In historical dramas, there are many other actors who look better than him. Also, his performance in historical dramas are not as good as those in his modern dramas. May not be his individual performance, but those historical dramas that he acted in, they do not do very well.

Exactly. Meeting one-on-one, while filming at Hengdian is definitely not wise. There are just too many people around. Meeting as a group is a different story. But, I doubt they really have the time to do that. Both just want to finish their current projects and get ready for the next one.

There are just too many rumours floating around regarding Reba. After a successful 2021, and now with another 2 top notch dramas waiting to air next year, I think she must have lots of offer on the table. I suspect some kind of annoucements will be coming up soon, because filming for Legend of Anle is about to end.

I think because of his wife, he cannot do passionate kisses. Here in The Blue Whisper, which is a historical drama, we do not need passionate kisses. We need good chemistry through eye gazes, warm embrace, hand holding. And good dialogue. Kisses on the cheek or just gentle touching of the lips will be more than enough. Shot at the right angles, those kind of kisses can do magic, and this director knows how to do it.

We are totally fortunate, to be following an actress whose career is just about to take on a new trajectory, and also at an age where she does need to think about marriage in the next few years.

It is true that balancing between having a family and a successful acting career is not easy at all. The guys can do it. Most societies are ok with that. But being a good mum and being a good actress at the same time may just be too much for most women.

Earier, we discussed what other roles we would like to see Reba act in. And I was thinking, if Reba really wants to conquer the world, she should improve her English and take on Hollywood. She has the visual, and the acting skills. She can easily act in those action oriented Marvel-like movies or pure comedies or suspense trillers.

It is too bad, but I think it is too late for her to try to conquer Japan. One of my favourite Krama actresses Han Hyo Joo is about to do that. Reba shares many similarities with her. Great visual with long beautiful hair; great acting skills; great in modelling. But Han Hyo Joo became famous in Japan way back in 2010, and, if I am not wrong, she speaks Japanese. I think at 29, it will be too difficult for Reba to pick up Japanese, especially with her busy acting schedules.

Going West might be a better option, if she indeed wish to conquer the world. You think so???

No choice. Just got to wait. But The Blue Whisper should be coming up in Q1 of 2022. Meanwhile, just roam around and watch some other good stuff while you wait. I do think there are some good ones just being screened or are coming up before The Blue Whisper.

Oh, very important thing you need to remember. Since you have followed Dilraba from YAMG to TLB, you need to keep in mind that she has two great serious historical dramas coming up next year. One is The Blue Whisper and the other Legend of Anle. Both are expected to be blockbusters.

It is not surprising that both YAMG and TLB got attacked. Reba is known to attract a high number of anti-fans (though her fans still outnumber these haters). Reasons for this high number of anti-fans? I think we all know. Nothing we can do about it, nor anything to fear. As her career keeps going up and up, especially after 2021, more of these anti-fans will be outgunned by her current and propective fans.

Most important wish for us? She will continue to improve with each new project and continue to act in dramas/movies in the years to come. If she marries a fellow actor, it will likely be the case. If she marries a rich businessman, she may well say bye-bye to being an actress. That rich businessman husband probably don't want to see her being kissed by another man, and probably don't need all the money she can make from making all those commercials or from her acting. If her passion for acting is really deep, she will likely follow the path of Angelababy.

Do you mean Reba and Wu Lei are in cahoot with each other? Not sure. Last I know, when YAMG was aired, Wu Lei sent greetings to Reba wishing her all the best or the drama all the best. That was official and it was on twitter or something like that. Other than that, I did not come across any official communication between the two of them.

Why do they do that? They get rewarded for generating more discussion topics or something like that?
