The Blue Whisper, Reba's next historical drama.

In the trailer, we only saw a few seconds of it. I think in the drama, with more details on what led to those kisses, those kisses may well be enough. For instance, if there is a warm embrace between the two, or some sweet words the spoke to each other.

It is all about expectations. If viewers expected them to use body double, but the two of them actually touched lips without any body double, viewers would be satisfied. For Allen, I think this is as far as he could go, without upsetting his wife or making her feel insecure.

I googled the term matte painting. It seems that it refers to some kind of digital paintings of the landscape. How about the other CGI? Those that involve all the fight scenes? Do you know this team also worked on the fight scenes in Ancient Love Peotry, and will be working on all the fight scenes in TBW??

Indeed!! Youku can easily clarify everything by putting up the expected airing dates of both TBW and LOA on their official website. LOA is still filming, so they may not have a clear a picture at this moment. But TBW finished filming in June, which is four months ago. Surely, they would have a clear picture when they can air that one. Once that is fixed, we will also know the possible airing date of LOA.

Right now, there are lots of 'noise' and we don't really know what or who to believe.

Could you explain why in two of the links attached by Fairydustpuppy below, her name is no where to be found? And also, I googled all the names of the 5 winners of the Asian Star Prize, Wikipedia shows that all the other 4 won that prize, but in the case of Lusi, it was empty.

She is pretty strong, actually. If the director wants her to carry Allen piggyback style, I do not see any problem. They will not need to use a body double for that kind of scene. If they position Allen well, there may not need for her to hold his butt. Allen can put his arms around her shoulder area and she can grab his legs. I sure hope he does not grab his arms too tight around her neck and choke her.

That is good enough, and is probably more than what Allen has done in all his dramas after marriage. Reba will never kiss Allen the way she kissed Yang Yang in You Are my Glory. Those kind of kisses can break up a marriage.

That voice sounded great in TLB. It conveyed all of Li Changge's emotions really well. And Reba is a true professional who has always put in maximum effort to portray all her roles. This will be her third collaboration with this same director, so he should know to get maximum milleage out of her vast talents and abilities. From the trailer, we saw some of the stances and movements by Reba that really maximise her dancing and acting abilities. I think this would be the first time she used some of those stances in a fighting scene. As for her chemistry with Allen, it should be great. From her past record, she has always had great chemistry with all her male co-stars.

What was disappointing in Ancient Love Poetry? The two of them in their individual roles, or the chemistry between the two of them?

If this turns out to be true, we can conclude that Youku and its partners in this project have engaged a rather inferior team/company to do the CGI and other post production related matters. For a 43-44 episode project, it should take about 9-10 months to get it out (from end of filming to airing). Anything beyond that indicates poor management of post production. If, somehow, during those 4 months of filming, the director managed to churn out 50 plus worth of episodes, getting it out during Q3 of 2022 would be within expectations.
