Such a lovely and apt description of Reba. I think the more she works with different male leads, the more she is able to figure them out, and how to have amazing chemistry with whoever she needs to work with.
I am not sure she still has that perspective of wanting to work with different male leads. If she does, she may well prefer the lead to be someone other than Wu Lei. Again, this is only a speculation of mine.
In any case, she does not get to make casting decision. Most times, it is the director or producer. And she will be totally fine, even if it is Wu Lei.

Excellent decision. Those kissing scenes are way too hot for young people. Over at TLB, they can pretty much watch the entire series with you. The passion in YAMG is definitely not suitable for youngsters.

Hi hi. It is not difficult to remember your liking for historical dramas. I remember exchanging a few posts with you, that we share the same love for historical dramas, because of all the beautiful costumes and sets. And those exchanges likewise made me remember that you do not really like modern dramas all that much.
I am not a gaming person, so I just fast forward many of the game scenes. Especially those without any interaction between the two of them.
From a problem solving perspective, YT's financial challenges can be easily solved. Once he marries QJJ, all his money problem will be solved. QJJ has tons of it.
Once married, she can use all her money to support his dream. If his mother gets into health issues, she can likewise use her money to find the best medical care. QJJ, on the other hand, does not need anything from him. (And this does remind me so much about our girl, Li Changge). All QJJ wants from YT is a husband who loves her, is able to accept her lifestyle as a successful actress, who does not need to feel inferior despite having a wife who makes more money than him. While he is busy with his work, she is busy with hers. If they have children later, she can use her money to get them 2 maids to take care of household chores and help take care of the babies/chilldren.
An ideal couple in the drama and, in real life, if there is a combination like this, it will work really well too!
We already knew that Reba is a good kisser from her previous dramas. Now, we know Yang Yang is a good kisser as well. I hope our dear Wu Lei is a good kisser, because if he wants to act in any romance drama, he has to kiss his female lead. That is a must.
Many of us here fully agree with you, that a drama as good as this is not getting the attention in China that…
Yes, I am rather averse to drama with tragic ending. I watched Goodbye My princess, and dare not to watch another drama with tragic ending. Too painful for me to bear.
Either lack of trust in us or their inability to communicate clearly with us, they more less impacted the atmosphere here. We had to do lots of damage control and tried to convince many of the old timers not to leave this page. We succeeded to some extent. But some were simply too hurt by the incident, so much so, even they did come back, they didn't contribute as much as before. Me and a few, we decided to weather the storm, because this drama is so good, we really want to hang around and explain things to newcomers.
I think this page is now very very stable. A few 'regulars' are still around. They must be on this page for at least 4 months.
That that one scene was really good. But Dilraba had far more crying scenes and she delivered all of them superbly.…
Yes, playing this role, she got to interact with Dilraba, who already had experience playing serious female leads in a historical drama. Hopefully, she picked up a few acting tips that will help her in her in her next historical, which should be out next year.
About 17 hours ago, it was 2.26B. So increase of 40m views over a 17 hour period.Edit: This is still good. Assuming…
Yes, this show is good in that many of us migrated over from TLB. While we watch the show, we can engage with lots of familiar faces to give us comfort. Yet, at the same time, we get to meet lots of fabulous Yang Yang fans here.
We might still see some TLB lovers at the page of TOOL, but I suspect not many cause Reba is not in the drama. So very likely, many of us will meet again, at the page of The Blue Whisper. It will not be long. We should be able to watch that drama by early next year.
Binged up to episode 24, watched 25 and 26 raw, and I’m left with feeling all blushed, and giggle 🤭. They…
Hi to the two of you, my fellow TLB lovers. Somewhat surprised to see Linh here, as she said she preferred historical dramas. I have already spotted MK916 around here. There are lots of people who migrated here from TLB.
As usual, our Reba does not disappoint. Here we get to see her more often in her glorious long hair, and also she gets to act cute more often than in TLB. Hard to imagine who could have played QJJ better than her. And Yang Yang did a great job as YT. As expected, their chemistry is great. All those kisses that we missed in TLB, fully compensated here.
I hanged around the page of TLB for a long time, because lots of things needed to be explained to newcomers, and we were having so much fun there for such a long time. Here, lots of Yang Yang fans can explain this drama much much better than I do. So I simply sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Very likely will move on to The Oath of Love when it airs in early September.
I will miss Reba's dramas, but as long as there good dramas around, I am good. TLB has hit 8.7, after months hanging around at 8.6.

I think she mentioned that she took this role precisely because of that, that she wanted to do something she had not done previously. This role will likely prepare her for future serious roles in historical dramas.
I'm still wondering lool.... how's the romance in this?
Totally! Especially for viewers from the West. So many of them were already confused by all the different ministers at the Tang Dynasty. And, at the grasslands, there were also a number of characters. If we add in Ashile Sun's background, and the screenwriters actually got people to act as his birth relatives (like uncles and aunties), it will just distract many viewers.
Right I was just thinking that Reba endorses a Japanese label. I hope he can survive this. He spent 10 years building…
Yes, this is what usually happens. Once a star is tainted, raters will go to Douban and pour scorn on their successful drama. And Word of Honor is ZZH's most successful dram to date.
Yah, those in N American, most of you will not understand geo-politics of the Far East, especially that between Korea, China and Japan. Japan colonised Korea for long period of time, and made two incursions into China. To this day, those events have not been forgotten nor forgiven. And some of the Japanese soldiers who made those incursions, their remains were at those shrines that ZZH visited. Imagine the hurt they felt, when they saw those photos showing one of their celebrities visiting those Shrines. It is like paying respect at the tombs of people who killed your ancestors.
