Edit: This is still good. Assuming an additional 1B views per week, it means it will reach 3.3B views by this time, next week. And there is still time for it to hit 4B, before TOOL is aired.

I totally agree with you. At the same time, want to say they missed the opportunity to have Reba and Yang Yang sing a duet, as one of the OSTs for YAMG.

Reba may not have a great voice, but she is ok, if a song has a pitch is right for her voice. Over at the page of TOOL, everyone is going gaga over the duet sang by Yang Zi and Xiao Zhan.

Before YAMG was aired, I came to this page, and everyone was so happy, anticipating a duet from Reba and YY. It must have been somewhat of a let down for many, that it did not happen.

The same thing happened to Huang Xiaoming. Did you see his latest photos? After all the dieting, he now looks as young as his wife!! In terms of looks, they are so matching now.

Not necessary so. Just someone who have access to those photos, with the clear intention to bring him down. Perhaps one of his anti-fans?? When he was less famous back in 2018/2019, he was not a big enough star to worth doing this kind of thing to him. Now that he has gained some fame in China, they must have felt that the timing to bring him down is good.

May not even be an anti-fan. Maybe just be an ordinary Chinese who have access to those photos and felt that what he did was wrong.

Or, liesylew, you could be right, that indeed someone powerful in the Chinese government is doing it, as part of a campaign to purge the celebrity culture in China. If so, all the other big stars must be careful. Make sure they do not have any skeleton in their closet, or they will be next in line, after ZZH.

Haha! They can do that. But I doubt it will be counted. Both Reba and YY have millions of fans in China. If rewatch are counted, it will just keep going up and up, but it will also be meaningless. Because, if rewatch are counted, fans of the other dramas will be able to do the same thing to their dramas as well.

In that case, all of these viewership count to decide which drama is better than which will become totally meaningless.

Take Yang Mi, for example. She has many more fans than Reba. But one of her recent dramas did not have very high viewership count. You can check it out, since you know how to figure out viewership count. You can check the viewership count for 'Storm Eye', Yang Mi's most recent drama.

We all are, those who have been following her from drama to drama. But I do think she did it mainly to fit the role she is acting. After shooting of YAMG, she filmed The Blue Whisper where she played a character that is really thin. So, she lost tremendous of weight for that. Maybe the character in Legend of Anle is equally thin. I think, after that, since she loves to eat, she should be able to put on some weight by cutting down on the exercises. Given her height, her BMI must be in the unhealthy range right now.

I am a bit sad and somewhat disappointed. Apart from drinking water, why can't Gu Man write it that YT would often go for a run of something? There are so many ways to de-stress. Saying that he smoked, to de-stress is very disappointing. Just imagine the kind of influence it will have on young readers of YAMG.

I do not think rewatch will be counted. Their system will be able to capture the count. Once a person hits a particular episode once, it is counted as one, even if the same individual watch that episode again and again. Otherwise, all the fans can just cheat, by doing rewatch after rewatch, of their favourite dramas.

That must be it. There are hotels near to Hengdian, so she must have done this while back in her hotel room. Anyway, for all her fans, this must a nice gesture, that instead of just resting, she wanted to do something, to keep in touch with them. Can see that she loves eating!! So, she must have been able to stay this thin by doing lots of exercise, to burn off all those calories.

Regardless, because visiting those shrines are considered a big no-no in China (as well as Korea, I suspect). Several years ago, he was already in the entertainment industry, although he was never a big star till the Word of Honor. I watched two of his dramas prior to Word of Honor, and he was hardly impressive. Being in the entertainment, he ought to have watched every of his actions very very carefully.

The Chinese government is very unhappy with people visiting those shrines. Even Japanese Prime Ministers need to think carefully if they should visit those shrines, much less a Chinese celebrity like him. So, yes, he must have angered the Chinese government. His entire future is not very much in doubt.

As to you question why now, because those photos must been leaked only now. It is a small world. If those pics were taken, matter of time they will appear.

It still isn't all that great news for YAMG, though it is not quite as bad. Because if these other dramas (like the 1st three that are ahead of YAMG) can accumulate so many more views from the ending of their airing, it shows their great staying power. Most viewership will just taper off very quickly, especially if a new and very popular drama is screened right after it.

And TOOL will be screened right after YAMG. You can expect viewership to drop signficantly, once TOOL starts. So, YAMG needs to amass as many views as it can, before September 8, airing date of TOOL.

Visiting those shrines is a no-no in China. Very offensive to people in China, as they contain the remains of Japanese war criminals, people who did harm against China. Even Japanese Prime Ministers need to think carefully if they should or should not visit the Yasukuni Shrine. For him, as a Chinese celebrity to visit that Shrine, and the other one, is a definite no-no.
