That is good! All of us here are cheering for BOTH Yang Yang and Dilraba and the drama itself. When the drama does well, both their careers will reap great benefits.

Sina is one of the biggest news organisations in China. Kind of like NBC or CBS in the US. So, Ilona meant Sina, the news organisation will release some interview stuff involving YY and Reba.

For acting, Dilraba won one of the most prestigious acting awards in China in 2018. I think it is the Golden Eagle Awards. She won both in 2018. Wining this kind of award is usually taken to mean they are very good actresses.

For acting awards for Yang Yang, I think Yang Yang fans should be able to provide. Yang Yang wikipedia link does show alot of awards that he won, but I am not sure which are for acting. HIs Forbes ranking for 2020 is below Dilraba, because for two years he did not have big hits.

Dilraba got a big hit in 2020 (Eternal Love of Dream). With her performance in TLB, and now in YAMG, her Forbes ranking might even go higher next year.

Likewise for Yang Yang. YAMG is going to be big hit for him. And he has a historical coming up with Rosy Zhao. He does need a big hit in historical dramas, or he could be seen as a modern drama specialist. If his historical with Rosy Zhao is well received, his Forbes ranking will also go up.

In terms of acting versatility, there is no question that Dilraba is more versatile. But YAMG is a modern drama. So Yang Yang is just as good.

Are you referring to the photos? Yes, they are indeed very very sweet. But I do not see any comment there.

Yes, I think here, we do respect everyone's opinions. But by and large, a great majority here do feel that both Yang Yang and Dilraba have delivered their roles well.

For those who feel that Yang Yang is a bit stiff, just have to be a bit patient. By next week, things will start to change. He will have scenes that call for him to change his facial expressions.

In China. I got that info from two difference sources. They cited that figure after only 1 week upon the release of the first episode, so no way they included figures outside of China.

When ELOD was first aired, in one single day, it garnered 180 million views. That was for the 1st episode, which is usually the most viewed episode of most dramas.

Honestly? I am not sure you know what you are talking about. Go check up on the list of top tier actors and actresess in China. They are both there.

She just finished filming her last historical drama not too long ago. That drama has a FL that is pencil thin. She is now filming her next historical. Perhaps that too has a FL that is rather thin. Pretty sure after that, she will eat more.

But there is a weekend coming up in China. Maybe more people will watch it. Especially if word of mouth is good.

Yeah. So sad why some do not feel it. I mean, we watch the same drama, the same scenes, the same mannerisms by YY and Reba. We could 'feel' the chemistry. Yet, you read a few comments here. They keep insisting they felt nothing.
